  • I didn't think about how I would pee at a street fair alone with 3 kids.  What do people do?  I was honestly scanning the lines for a trustworthy looking mom with kids that I could have watch the stroller for a second and just couldn't do it.
I felt challenged when I had a bathroom emergency at Walmart with just my daughter.  The carrier hardly fit in the stall, but I had no choice.
Maybe adult diapers is a solution? I'm being sarcastic, but can't think of how to manage it in your situation.  Maybe a family restroom in a business in the area?

  • That was a good read. The only thing I'd change is something that was out of our control anyway....DH's work schedule. He worked an insane amount of hours the first 6 weeks of DD's life and we'll never get that time back. Oh well, we're trying to make up for it now.
  • For the future teething drooling, these bibs are awesome! They work well at keeping their clothes dry. If you sew you can probably make them yourself.

As a random question, I'm in need of a good quality kitchen knife set. Does anyone have a brand they recommend?
  • @LeaLupins‌ we love our Ginsu knives. They were a wedding present so idk how much they cost but they have a lifetime warranty and they will sharpen them for you!
  • This six week crying peak is no joke @-)

Need help. My pits are always sweaty and stinky these days. Eff the hormones. I have used Dove deodorant since high school and now I have no idea what to switch to. Suggestions???? Also, happy Labor Day from Willie!image

Arid Extra Dry, not the clear one, the yellow can works best.
  • Lesson learned: do not drink a large iced coffee at 5pm and then nurse your child to sleep. Yaaaaaawwwwnnn.

@abundancenow‌ is that a spray on? Worth a shot! @alysson.lawless‌ I know what you mean! I still have 2 weeks, but I did "meet the teacher night" and it got me into the spirit. I love the feeling of fall and back to school.

    Yes, aerosol spray.
  • Is it crazy that I'm giddy/nervous/excited about returning to work tomorrow? I can't fall asleep yet, it's like the first day of school. Only, it's the fourth week of school and I don't know what I'm going into...

I go back to work on Sept 15th and I am already giddy-excited about it and it totally feels like first day of school jitters!
  • Anyone have amazon prime? We have it and my friend asked if she could use the free shipping. Will she be able to see the weird shit I order or my cc info?

You can "share" your prime shipping with her and I don't think she can see it. Go to your account and under prime there should be a share option.

  • Milo has me on his schedule for sure. I woke up for a usual 3am feeding and he slept until 4am. I considered trying to feed him in his sleep, but didn't think that would work out so good. I'm not good at stealthy w a sleeping baby.

  • Today is our anniversary. I dont really drink all that much, but I like to have a glass of good wine with a 'fancy' dinner, and I am so looking forward to tonight.

Also, Im sure Im not the only one, but I am SO over losing all my hair constantly. Ugh. Cannot wait until this is over!

  • Dunkin donuts coffee, oh how I missed you!

What are your favorite coffee brands?

Btw, super excited pumpkin spiced latte and salted caramel mocha are back at star bucks. One of them may be on the agenda today.

DH's family always tries to suggest we should order things for them because we have Prime. Thankfully we haven't actually had to do it because I tell them to remind me when I'm by my computer and they never do. But, it's annoying how much they bring it up. If they want to order things so often, they should just pay for prime or wait until they have a $25 order!

  • I have another blocked duct :((
No idea what I'm doing wrong this time, feeding DD1 was easy and problem-free the whole time.

  • Today I'm wishing I had frozen embryos left over for baby #2, but we used all we had. Blechhhhh.

  • I pump as well and go until everything's gone so I don't know what else it could be.  I'm not doing anything different to last time.
You'd think things would get better, not worse.

  • How badly do you all think I'm going to be judged if I go to the store for nothing but Guinness and cake frosting with a 4 week old in tow?

Hmmm.. maybe I'll just go to the other store we don't do our usual shopping at so no one will recognize me.
I bought a bottle of wine and a pack of snack raisins at 7am once, no-one even blinked so you'll probably be fine.

I bought 12 mini bottles of wine at 36 weeks pregnant. And 6 chocolate bars. They were all gifts but damn that must have looked bad.

This morning as I was setting LO down to go back to sleep (3:30 or so), I went to sing the last verse of her sleepy song (an original song I make up as I go titled "Sleepy Girl"), and she just looked up at me and smiled. So sweet! It made me not even care that she was awake instead of asleep!
I love that. DS1 was a horrible sleeper but one memory I have is one night I was nursing him around 4 a.m. and I was so dang tired but he just kept pulling off and giving me the biggest gummy smiles. I couldn't help but laugh and melt a little because it was so cute...even though I really wanted to go back to sleep!
  • @Matthew930‌
None of the stores around you do?

    We have our "Irish Twins"

    DD born 8/7/2013

    DS born 7/28/14

I live in Pennsylvania, so unless the store has a liquor license as a "beer garden" (which is rare), you have to go to a wine and spirits shoppe, OR a beer distributor. Beer distributors can only sell beer in cases too. It's really annoying - when you're preparing for a party you have to go to 3 separate places for supplies!

  • 2 month shots are the worst :-( Poor little man.
  • I have to AW/SS my LO's newborn photos.. proud mama over here! She is so perfect! <3
    ADORABLE!!

Some of the best I've seen.
