@wendyld Overwhelmingly depressed. I don't feel happy at all and I just cry all day. I don't want to do the things I used to enjoy or be around people, I just want to be in bed and stay there. I'm never like this... The last time I had problems with depression was maybe 2-3 years ago.
alexandria22489 - I would be so PISSED if my neighbor I didn't know was in my backyard trying to play with my dog. My dog by nature is extremely territorial so we have a 6 foot white privacy fence because of this that locks where the gates are. It blows my mind that people can be so unintelligent when dealing with dogs. I am a dog person and I would never just walk up to a dog I didn't know especially when it's clearly at it's home.
edit--clearly I am stupid and can't figure out how to do the "@ someone's name".
Yesterday I went to BRU because they had some Carter's stuff BOGO free. I gave in and bought a few sleepers even though it's still early...I just couldn't resist how cute they were.
Thanks @ToasterCat. It's very abnormal for me. I have a history of depression over the years, but like I said the last time hasn't been since 2-3 years ago. I'd hate to get back on medication for it because I'm nervous doing that while pregnant, but idk what to do if this gets any worse. I have to suck it up and be able to work! It's getting to the point where I can't control the crying.

This sounds like a definite must to address with your OB. I'm so sorry you're struggling, hon.
I have a crazy neighbor/dog story. My neighbors on one side are older and very cranky. We've always tried to be nice, but I think this last encounter has ended DH's patience for their shenanigans.
Apparently the neighbor doesn't like where our dogs poop in OUR yard. He screamed at DH about it and said he was going to call the county on us if we didn't make them poop somewhere else. I'm not sure where he would consider acceptable, but whatever. DH just stared at the guy and didn't say a word.
I would love to have heard the conversation when that guy called the county. "Their dogs are pooping? In their yard? Ooooook....."

You should mention this to your doc. No shame in talking it through. (Hugs)

absolutely! tagging has yet to work for me, so i just quote everything
I doubt she will be doing it again. I was a crazy lady in my pajamas and my messy hair SCREAMING at her.
there was a dog being walked by it's owner last night and he was super angry he was on a leash. he was biting on it, and was jerking his owner around. I naturally walked across the street because I didn't want to stress out the dog, or make the owner have to try to move him over. common sense.
@katydid2014 I'm nodding off just reading your description of it.
@alexandria22489 Ummm, I'm from NY and when people wander into the yard I reach for the Louisville Slugger.
@snlt1012 I got a good 7+ nearly 8 hours of sleep and I feel like I've been hit by a truck! I'm highly considering napping on my lunch break today.
@healthyfor2 Hope you feel better, take it easy today lady.
I love that the first post in response to the Pumpkin Spice Latte article @jenny0314 linked to is about abortion...ummm...how about first we talk about the ingredients the article is calling into question before we cascade down into things like that?
@wendyld So glad things are beginning to look up and enjoy the eff out of that Mexican food!
Mexican food for everybody! @goofygoff you enjoy it too!
(hugs) @cinderella105 I know we're not there IRL but we are here whenever you need to talk/cry/whatever. If it's super bad definitely talk to your doctor about it.
"Serious is only something you have to be until you can be silly again."
Thanks @pennypretty and @jenny0314. Love the community we have here. If I see one newbie or troll today say that this place has no support imma go cray on their ass... Lol but really, thanking all of you for the support. I do have IRL friends, don't get me wrong, but they wouldn't understand or know what to say.
Anyways, onto better things and I'm going to stop being a downer!
The info graphic said that they use Monsanto milk. I knew that their parent company had spent substantial dollars to block GMO labeling but I didn't know that they've been using GMO milk in their drinks. I don't think GMOs have been studied enough so I'll be passing on S-bucks for now.
Gross.
Thankfully, there are about 1,274,098 other coffee places in the Seattle area where I can get my fix.
Seriously people! This is not what I want to read about right now. Whatever. I'm still going to drink them.
I think I stumbled upon this this morning and quickly clicked back. I think they're saying... SPOILER ALERT. it has sweetened condensed milk was it? I'm guessing in the syrup. But if this has it then my guess is so do white mochas.
Anywho I'm about to take another sip of mine now.

I think GMO concerns are mostly hype. There's my unpopular opinion Tuesday.
It's an interesting read. I know there are a lot of people on this board who can relate to the experience of MMC. And since it's not something people widely talk about, although they should more, I wanted to share. I was, however, irritated on behalf of my friends here with real fertility struggles when she talked about pregnancy "not coming easy." She only started trying in January and was pregnant by June!
I wasn't feeling up to much last night, so I decided to have a Vampire Diaries bender.
Well, lets just say that I had some very vivid and interesting dreams about Ian Somerhalder last night. I woke up feeling like it was incredibly real....... so needless to say I snoozed a few extra times.

I do think more research is needed. But my main issue is with Monsanto.
So after the bagel tragedy, I went out to the garage to take my car in to be repaired. Discovered some fucker had broken in and STOLEN MY BIKE.
I am so sad. There are worse things in life... but that bike had been my lifeline lately. Cycling regularly was the only thing keeping me out of a padded room. I loved that bike so much.
Made a police report, submitted an insurance claim... Then went straight to REI & bought the same bike again. It was $100 cheaper than when I bought it, but still this is going to be $1k on top of the $1k car repairs. FUCK YOU, CRACKHEADS!!
Now trying to calm down. I want a fucking drink. And a punching bag.
@cinderella105 I agree with all P'S you should talk to your OB. I was hesitant at first but am on a very low dose of meds for anxiety right now and the dose will most likely be upped as soon as I give birth to keep my hormones in check. There is no shame in doing what is best for you to keep baby and you safe but I know it is a very hard decision to make. So sorry you are feeling this way.
Awww I love you guys. I totally have the feels today. Getting weepy a lot. But I'm feeling better after 2 chocolate iced donuts and a big jug of milk on my way to work. Yummm. My head is better and no more fuzzy white out feeling thank goodness. Thanks girls for thinking of me. Let's hope today is smoother for us all! @mangomimosa I'm so sorry about your bike
Got some early test results back from my appointment last week. As a recovering hypochondriac (not even joking), I did NOT need to see that that my white blood cell count is still elevated.
Hi ladies! Sorry I've been MIA. We were in the OBX for a few days with my dad's family. It was a lot of fun! DS is a beach baby for sure! But we found out yesterday that my grandma (mom's side) is nearing the end. It's been coming for a while. She's in the late stages of alzheimer's. I was able to say goodbye to her a few weeks ago. But we are in the final stages of life now. She fell and broke her pelvis over the weekend. Hospice is managing her pain with morphine. But she's not eating and only taking 6-7 breaths per minute. She likely won't make it through the evening. My mom and her siblings are with her. But I'm guessing we'll be heading to NJ at the end of the week for the funeral.
In other news. I had my NT scan this morning. We got to see the little bubba bouncing all around. And the screening results were very good. So that was awesome. They also offered me one of the DNA tests since I'm so old (ahem, 35), so we may be finding out the SEX sooner than we thought. Anyway, it's working up to be an emotional week. I just wanted to check in and let you know that I am here and thinking of you all, even if I'm not posting.

I'm sorry about your grandma. I just lost mine to Alzheimer's a little over two months ago. I was also lucky enough to be able to see her a couple weeks before. I don't know if this will help you, but something that got by was realizing that I had long ago mourned the loss of my grandma; the woman we burried in June was just some shell of her.
I hope that didn't come off as insensitive. ((Hugs))
Hi ladies. I'm still lurking around. Hope that's okay. I have a week off before starting my new job and I've been keeping up with the random threads to occupy my time. Glad to hear so many ladies have had good appointments lately. @ToasterCat that recipe looks great. Gonna have to give that a try. @goofygoff pregnancy can cause your WBC count to be slightly elevated. It can also be elevated if you have been vomiting. @cinderella105 sorry to hear you are having a tough time. Hugs to you. I agree with everyone else that there is no shame in asking for help.

Oh no, that's awful! I'm so sorry you are having such a hard day. ((Hugs))
So far today I've had a cup of coffee, lots of water, a cheese stick, a yogurt, a PB&J, Amy's macaroni and cheese, and some fruit. It's only 12:30 and I'm already plotting out Second Lunch.
Burger King is buying Tim Horton's and expanding into Canada. Great. But this begs the question - will the US get Tim Horton's? Because OMG YES PLEASE!!!!!!
ETA: Yes, I realize Tim Horton's is in a few US cities already, but I want it mainstreamed. Or at least in Denver. :P
Yes! Tim Hortons is one of the things I miss from living in Michigan! When I was pregnant with Owen I would drive through one pretty much every day. I could get from my classroom, through the drive through and back in under 10min.

@cabauer9 Not insensitive at all!! I completely agree with you and appreciate you saying that. I've been without my gram for several years now. This shell of a person is not her. I know it sounds bad, but I've been praying for her to go for a while now. No reason for her to linger on. I just want her to get relief and be at peace.

The landscapers in our sub division decided to start bright and early with the noisy shit at 7:30. But now at a reasonable time they are nowhere to be found. Feeling all the rage.

While I am touched by how sweet and empathetic he is, I am also secretly proud that I am not the first to throw up. Hah! Too stubborn!
