My first BMB from April 2010 is still going strong. Most go off board at some point. We still have over 100 active posters and I know them really well. Even went on vacation with a group of them. A couple of those girls are some of my best friends ever. At the same time BMB weren't really used then. Everyone posted on the tri boards then age boards so it was a much larger group and encompassed a few different months.
I feel terrible, 2 of my co-workers ( one being my boss) are dealing with IF issues. I feel bad even talking about Harper around them sometimes. My boss has been TTC for about a year and has been taking meds ( not sure which ones) for a few months and nothing yet. I just don't know how to handle this situation .

@tsmith312 I've struggled with IF and did IVF to conceive LO. If you aren't close to your coworker and boss, I think it'd be best to wait until they ask about Harper and just talk to others about her instead. On good days, they may want to hear about how it's going. On their bad days, hearing about her may break their hearts. If you are close to them, you can let them know you're there if they need anything. I'd also recommend not giving any advice on how to conceive. People telling me to relax, enjoy my child free time, etc just made me angry. Of course you deserve your own happiness and to share stories about LO. But being aware of their feelings is kind and thoughtful of you.

OH I would never give them advice on how to conceive. My boss doesn't seem to upset most days, I know people hide their disappointment and issues differently then some people. I don't talk about Harper unless they ask, which is pretty frequently even when they do ask I still feel terrible. She openly talks about her medicine and the issues they have and I just listen and ask a few questions. I just hope and pray that something works out for them !

When did ours start? I don't remember. Joe started taking my pics at 4 weeks. I had a bikini on lol
I started taking mine at 4 weeks also. Just for my own records. But I don't feel like I contributed to HDBD until about 16ish weeks. I barely had a bump then.

discovered this morning that Panera's frozen caramel coffee is better than starbuck's Frappuccino. and that's saying a lot. SO noms. go get you one. right meow.
My original BMB sept '10 has been deleted. We are on day 5 of an 11 day vaca at the beach and I'm ready to go home. Vacation with small children in a not child friendly home is no vacation for mama. Especially wen the house is tiny and you have 6 month old twins who don't STTN and refuse a bottle...mama is exhausted.
The ILS arrive today and will be here until sat or sun. MIL has never changed the twins' diaper, not once into week they visitors us after they were born. I'm failing to see how having then join us in this tiny house will be helpful????
DH needs this vaca as summer is his busy season, at one point he had worked 35 straight days, but I can't wait to go home.
@Bennieangel It had a turtle car , plastic snack container, a hideous growth chart and some stinky lotion. I didn't pay much at all for it so no money really lost. I had just seen pics of them that looked better so I was expecting more. I may try the bluum box to compare. I like the excitement of it just wasn't impressed.

@YankeePeach08 that sounds dreadful - I'm sorry!! Hopefully you can enjoy the surroundings a bit!
Next weekend, Hubs and I are going up to the lake house his mom rented - we are going just for the day because I get no time off, and if I did, spending it with his family is NOT how I would want to spend it. I'm the one who is still up all night with M so I would much rather drive the hour home than sleep (or not sleep) somewhere I know will be uncomfortable for us all.

That sounds good. I may need to go there this week.
I regret eating lunch. I've been very productive this morning despite a rough night with LO, and decided to go eat at Fudrucker's,...big mistake. I want to lay down and take a nap now!
I'm right there with you, only I had an iced coffee and chicken salad on a croissant from Dunkin Donuts. My stomach hurts and I'm hyped up from the coffee!
I hope you feel better and get back to being productive.
Hubs and J just left my work for a overnight road trip. eek. I sent them with about 40 oz of milk to last until tomorrow when they get home (no later than 7pm). ack sadness + excitement! I feel like a broke teen whos parents are out of town to somewhere fabulous. Like I want to go, but at the same time....
Oh man, how did I forget about pumpkin spice lattes?! This just made my day! I like gingerbread that will follow shortly after, but pumpkin is the best! Now I want a pumpkiny pie desserty type treat.

@jcoffeebeans you made my day with that little piece of wonderful info ! @Jt7dreamz that bluum box looks better then that crappy citrus lane box I got yesterday !

J came home with his first cold yesterday on his third ever day of daycare. Neither of us slept last night. I'm burning the last 8 hours of sick leave I have to stay home and cuddle a cranky baby.
I have this cart cover . Has anyone else used theirs ? I wasn't sure if LO is big enough yet . I'm getting tired of lugging the car seat / stroller everywhere
A stone fell out of my wedding band. I've only had it a little over a year and this is the second one. So frustrating!!! Since the local store closed and the closest one is over an hour away I'm waiting on the ship kit from the jeweler and will be without it for atleast two weeks my hand always feels naked without it.
@tsmith312@addisonsmom22 - baby wearing? When I don't want to lug the car seat / stroller I try to remember to throw the Boba in the car & carry him in that.
LO only likes to be worn for short periods of time. Shes real nosey haha.

I do not own a shopping cart cover. We put LO in the cart with the safety strap on and tuck a blanket around him for added stability since he likes to lean forward and gnaw on the handle bars due to teething.
Our biggest issue now is that DS1 will not walk with us consistently so he needs to be in the cart too, and fewer and fewer stores are buying carts that will hold 2 kids.
I will wear LO if I know we are going to a store that doesn't have double carts.
I haven't stopped using the infant carseat yet, but I'm about to switch it because carrying that thing is hell on my wrists with it being over 20 lbs when LO is in it.
@addisonsmom22 - we started using it with my first when she was 4 months old. The padding was nice for the young age. We stopped using it when she was a bit bigger.
Thanks @sanibel21. It's weird to look at pictures like that because it's so different from Will. He still can't assisted sit and he is 2 and a half months older. She was mobile at his age and so very different. I actually just found another picture of her pulling up and she was 2 weeks older than Will.
