Does anyone do avocado and egg for breakfast? How do you prepare it? Thoughts on taste? I need to start eating healthier.
I'm not sure if you mean 'together' or just in general.
I frequently have egg on toast (over easy or medium, I don't like hard fries). I will very rarely make an omelette, but it's a lot of work to put in when there's 2 kids wanting breakfast.
And even less frequently I'd have a hard boiled egg.
I've never had avocado for breakfast, but I make a mean homemade guacamole and I like avocado sliced into a wrap with chicken or chunked into a leafy green salad.
I'm still making her squeeze in size 2's. I got a bunch as a shower goft. I hate to waste them and they still fit. She could probably go up to size 3 but I'm making it work for now.

My babies are such peanuts. They're still rocking their 1's. I'm going to have trouble finding pants that fit Owen this fall because he's so long but putting on all of his weight from the waist up!

Will's in 1s too. I found some leftover newborns this morning and stuck them in his diaper pile b/c they look like they will fit enough so I don't have to waste them.
@babylimas I think Will and Owen have been staying relatively close in size. He weighed in at 12 lbs even at his 6 month appointment. He just keeps following his own curve. His sister might be bigger but he's the one almost crawling!
I think the diaper sizes are different here. We're about to size up to 4, which is something ridiculous like 8 kg to 18 kg, which is like a 20 lb difference. Do they do it like that in the states too?

Yes they have always been close! We have Will's 6 month appointment in about 20 minutes, so I will have to let you know how much he weighs. He's 6 months and a couple weeks so I'm curious. He's started to feel boney again, but I am hoping it's because he had a growth spurt.
Oh, and I just realized our kids are only a day different in age. I don't know why I never noticed that. So they definitely have been comparable in size!
My friend is due next Monday . She texted me today and said the baby is already 9 pounds 6 ounces . And no signs of labor . I was trying to remember all the " tricks" to jump start labor that I read on here . I feel so bad I know she's super uncomfortable !

@ntdane - the weight wasn't so good. He was only 11 lbs 4 oz. we have to go back on weight checks. I was really hoping we could drop his fortified formula today but it's a no go. And no solids for at least a month. Boo.

Aww, sorry to hear that! We're still on monthly weight checks too but no fortified formula, just formula supplements. Will still seems to be doing well considering he's had a couple of surgeries in there too!
I like hearing about Wills checkups. Lol I find myself rooting for him and his rolling head lifting skillz. Sorry about the less than happy appt. solid food will be ready before you know it.

I'm very sorry the news wasn't what you had hoped . How was he doing otherwise?
He's great! I'm going to repeat his thyroid test bc he has been displaying symptoms. Other than that no problems! He's really developing skills and getting stronger. He's the happiest little boy.
Dh just picked up our foam mat things.... We will be assembling an alphabet shortly
I saw your pic on FB and I showed DH. I want to do it so bad downstairs because we have hard wood floors and I cant just plop her down anywhere. He said no. I think Im going to do it anyways. Its a pain to take her upstairs to play .

We just bought a ton of those foam tiles for m to play on downstairs. They are on sale at Walmart. I got the brown and taupe cause we didn't want too much colour. The alphabet and number ones are nice but a pita to clean.
This whole Bumping only when Pumping at work is really cutting into my bump time!!
Late to the game, but M is stil in 1's! We bought a case of 2's to start as soon as these are gone, but my little peanut can still rock the 1's (she's 25.5" and 14lbs).

Why did he say no? We had them in our old place (we didn't have a rug over the hardwood) when DD was a baby, and they were great. Does he think they're going to damage the hardwood? Ours was totally fine after almost a year of use.
No , he's just a pain in the butt when it comes to stuff out and about. He's already telling me we have too much baby stuff. I tried to tell him this house is no longer his, it belongs to the baby. He thinks it looks " tacky ". I think it would be great especially with her learning to crawl because our carpeted space is very limited downstairs.

Neither of the boys had their usually morning poop. Both just had wet diapers, not dirty. This makes me not want to go anywhere today because I'm afraid they will explode later. X_X
I ended up taking the band aid off and doing a few pics. Just need to download.
I had a great girls night last night! Daughtry, plain white ts, and goo goo dolls!!
My cousin was at the show - he posted about it on Facebook. Small world!
@SurpriseAt39 DS hasn't had his normal morning poo yet either so we are chilling in a onesie until I have to leave to take him to daycare. I'm not risking his cute outfit before daycare!
And so he pooped. Yay. We had a shower. Put a cute (brand new) onesie and short overalls on him. I got DS1 dressed. Return to find LO had spit up all over the overalls (remove them ). Play, into the bouncer. Aaaaand another poo. ( All over the leg hole of the onesie AND the bouncer. (Remove onesie and bouncer seat for laundry) Cue: new outfit. Lol.
Thanks @twaffle5 I wonder if that's in the Canadian ones. That quote makes it seem like harmful if ingested Maybe I'll throw a blanket on top to prevent her from licking them or ingesting.
Anyone else know much about their safety of lack of?
Just an FYI. Foam mats are banned in France and Belgium because of the amount of chemicals they give out. We got an ikea rug
Also I'm surprised (and not surprised) that FBW love titted this. Didn't you say in another post that babies are born with 300 foreign/unnatural chemicals in their system?
Bfest Tuesday. I can pay 2-300 for a root canal and $500 next year for a crown Or pay 80 to get it pulled and put a crown on a tooth I had a root canal done on 2 years ago.
I drove to dentist and home with my car dinging low fuel. I hate stopping when it's hot and I have lo
I got home and we get mail saying our road is closing sept 2 so we literally she to go 100% out of our way to go anywhere!
Then I sat on what was probably cat barf on the chaise lounge and didn't know it.
Eff today.
I wish I went to your dentist.. I just paid $1400 for a root canal in June and am waiting til January for my dental account to be replenished for my $1100 crown (
Will has been asleep since 3:00. Am I screwed tonight? He had shots yesterday and I had to pick him up from school because he had fever. They said he slept all morning. He is out cold but I'm afraid he is going to wake up really early in the morning.
@talee1989 I think it's my insurance that's good... She said it costs that much for the place they refer me to and out of pocket it's $2-300. They pay 80% or something... Idk insurance is confusing and usually leaves me raging!!
ah i see... that sounds closer to what i paid then.. our dental coverage is a 100% buuuut it's reimbursement so it always hurts having to pay for it upfront then waiting 6-8wks to be reimbursed..

There was a news story about that a couple years ago (when DS1 was just starting his dayhome - lots of mats!) and the recommendation was to let them air out a day or so before putting baby on them as the chemical causing concern actually dissipates pretty quickly and becomes inert. At least that's what I remember!
@jt7dreamz - these are actually the 4 month shots, just behind schedule. Hopefully he does the same and sleeps through! I'm going to wake him in a few and give him a bottle. Hopefully he goes right back down.
Just some entertainment: https://whatsupmoms.com/ I really liked their back to school video. so funny!
also, I don't get notifications when anyone quotes my post or @ 's me in a post anyone else have this problem? I'm using internet explorer and safari.

LO is around 16 lbs now...and super tall, so I'm just hoping his brother's clothes from last winter fit him so I don't have to buy new.
I enjoyed reading that.. Then I realized how many bumpies are MIA, or maybe just on FB.
