I didn't see a thread started, so I'll kick it off!

I changed my avatar this morning because I started to feel like a creepy person with my old one in thumbnail size. (It was Chewbacca (not that I'm really a sci-fi person) with a do-rag entitled "Tupacca"). Sooooo if I seemed scary... And hairy... I apologize. It seemed funny at the time.

Now please enjoy my current only child, my 4-year-old beagle

Morning! I am not ready to be awake yet! Good news is my mom is picking DD up for preschool today so i am coming home and going back to bed. Its raining and the perfect day for naps. Yippee!

I thought I was entirely past morning sickness but I just smelled my daughters dirty diaper while eating breakfast and ran to the bathroom.

My daughter has finally consistently starting using her signs that we taught her. She started signing for milk around 8 months but now that momma isn't making any more she signs for milk when she's tired because she was used to getting nursed to sleep. She also signs for "all done," "more," "eat," and "drink." It makes my life so much easier to have some idea of what she wants or needs!

@WanderingA‌ so cute! Baby language-gestures and babbling, is my favorite thing about a growing baby. They look so adorable trying to pass a message across.

I am having a terrible headache since yesterday now! And I kinda feel it's because of disturbed sleep. I can't find a comfortable sleeping position. I used to be a belly sleeper, now I just can't lie on my belly and back. Any suggestions?!

I felt the baby move yesterday and it was pretty weird. It was more than flutters which surprised me. I thought it was gas at first but I felt it again and my husband came over trying to feel it too. Poor guy was sad he can't feel yet.

I got tge majority of my hair cut off yesterday.

Also this morning at work I went to clean a toilet and ended up throwing up. Had to get someone else to finish cleaning for me

I love seeing everyone's pregnancy announcements...so cute! But...am I the only one who thinks I would be flamed by family & friends if I physically sent them a pregnancy announcement in the mail? Is that common? I feel like my family would make fun of me.

I had horrible dreams about my appointment today. We should be getting a regular checkup ultrasound and should be finding out the sexes. Normally, we go in, get the ultrasound and then see the doctor.

In my dream, we arrived and the doctor walked in (before my ultrasound) with a really grim look on his face and told me that my chances of my babies having genetic diseases was really high (we actually got great results from our Harmony test). He is normally a really positive guy, even delivering bad news. Then, we were expected to sleep at the office and I had to BEG for an ultrasound, down to stomping and screaming. The tech thought that I had to swallow the probe in order to see the genitals of the babies. I told her she was stupid and inserted it myself and saw two boys.

What I deduce from the dream: I have anxiety about appointments.

Never in my life have I seen one in the mail. Is that a new thing? I'm always behind the times.

I'm so exhausted, and I think I'm too old to go back to college. Also, going back while pregnant might be a mistake. I just don't want to do it anymore and classes start Monday... (As in, I haven't even started yet and I want to quit.)

Did I miss the before and after pictures? I have a haircut at 115pm. I'm gonna leave the decision of how short to cut my hair in the hands of my girl.

ADVICE NEEDED! I am in the process of being g hired to babysit a newborn baby. I haven't let her know that I'm pregnant. Should I wait till we meet in person or should I let her know ahead of time?

I'm pretty sure we would get some eye rolls! I feel like we send out enough stuff as it is. We do a photo xmas card every year and I have sent out photo birth announcements for DS1, 2 and DD. Then there are all the thank you cards for gifts. An announcement that we are expecting would be overkill IMO. I'll just wait until baby is born.

I flirted with the idea of mailing something since we're both so inactive on social media, but decided an email to our close friends was better.

That said, the announcement email has prompted a couple of cute exchanges between my husband and his friend from college, who is a new dad. Both the wives are on the chain, so it's nice to see the two of them in awe of pregnancy and the task of raising a child. My husband is worried about how abstract it feels to him, but his friend is reassuring him that this will change as I grow and the minute the baby's born. It's like, aww, guy love!

My dog woke me up at 4:30 am because he needed to poop. That's the second time in 3 years he's done that. I did not get back to sleep so I'm tired.

Am I an asshole because I'm already sick of the "It's a..." threads?

@ducktale...I'm sick of them too. There should be one thread where people can post reveals.

Well guess who's bleeding again, I got my appt moved up to today from tomorrow. Sometimes I feel like this babies want me to be overly stressed. I have found both of them a few times since the bleeding started, so I'm not freaking out as bad as normal. When I called the OBs they decided to have me come in to check everything.

So, my evening last night was interesting. I broke my tooth eating dinner (luckily it isn't too bad, doesn't hurt too much at least and I made an appt with a dentist tomorrow morning, which I'm totally nervous about because I haven't been to the dentist in years). After I took care of my tooth as much as possible, I got a text from my much younger friend (she's 21 and still lives with her parents, I'm 26). Her family lives in an apartment, and they've sort of been helping take care of their older neighbor who has had to go to the hospital a lot lately and taking care of her dog. The neighbor's son is a bit of a jerk, apparently, and hasn't been doing anything for her.

Well, my friend texts me because her mother found their neighbor dead in her apartment, and apparently it had been a few days... I went over to keep her company while her parents spoke to the police and they waited for the neighbor's son and his wife to get there. I brought her back home with me so she could get some sleep away from everything and took her to work this morning. I already feel like I need a nap.

@Mommy510 - Do it, do it, do it! I started online school a little over 2 years ago. During that time I have gotten engaged, married, had baby #1 and now obviously baby #2 will make an appearance before I graduate. I won't lie, school and a baby is very difficult to juggle, but it's also a big motivation. I just keep on thinking of the day that I will be able to tell my kids how hard I worked and fought for my education and imagining the day I walk across the stage and get my diploma while I have my family there to support me!

I agree re: the reveal posts. I kind of feel the same way about people sharing their announcements. I'm glad that they're happy and they don't really bother me, I just wish they were condensed into one thread.

@Mandamoochie - I've been craving pad thai so badly for the past few days. If you haven't gone already, you need to check out Pinang in Newark, they are amazing and I want to eat all their things.

I've been getting frustrated with DH for not getting the dishes done when I ask...but then he goes to three grocery stores to find the bagels that I like best because that's what I've been craving for breakfast. So sweet :-)

Thanks @WanderingA‌. It's been a super frustrating process so far. I know it will be worth it, but I'm just not feeling it today. (Up all night last night trying to register for a class that was full only to find out this morning that there's something wrong with my student account.) But there's one spot left for the class I want (several other spots with a different teacher) and if I could just get that spot I would be so happy!
Now the toddlers are awake and I still haven't gotten through to the right department. I've pretty much been on hold, leaving voice mails, and been passed around to various offices since 6:30 this morning.

Then, the flyers disappeared and I was all like - did they cancel it? are we still having ice cream?? I WANT FREE ICE CREAM

I'm glad it chaps my mom's ass that we aren't finding out the sex of this baby either. It made me smile.

Apparently I have the attitude of a 16yo.

Also, I'm annoyed the newly married Duggar girl is pregnant already. Enjoy your H for more than two seconds before having kids! Though I would kind of love it if she got pregnant before the wedding. 'Cause I'm evil.

I brushed my dreadlocks out yesterday and I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. Now I have to decide if I want to cut my hair and now it requires styling, which is not my forte.. At least it smells pretty now

Same here. It would get an eye roll from me. Maybe it's a regional thing? I would never think to send out a pregnancy announcement through the mail, but I've also never received one either.

My nurse-aholic toddler was getting changed a minute ago before her nap. We have been trying to give her choices so I said "Do you want milk, or night night." She touched my cheek so sweetly and said "Night night."

We have been trying to cut back on nursing, but Jesus, that broke my heart.
