DS only took a half hour afternoon nap, which I can usually get 1 1/2 hours from, so I am putting him in the car and going shopping. I'm banking that he will fall back asleep in the car or mall. Hopefully.

I have puppy fever SO bad. Like, maybe my fat cat will run away so I can have a puppy. Err...
Ahhh I do too!!! DH and I actually had the "new puppy" talk, kind of like the same talk we have when we are thinking about another kid lol. Looks like we may welcome a new one this winter.

DD still hasn't rolled...she gets on her side and stays there for a bit, but always flops back over to her back. No signs of even going belly to back, either.
When DS gets up from his nap I need to go say goodbye to my neighbor and BFF here. That's one of the worst parts of the military, meeting people just to say goodbye. I made her a big batch of cookies for the drive, I figure she'll need them, driving with a two year old!
On the other hand, who knows what the future holds, right? We just found out that when we move in January, we'll be stationed with our neighbors from Alaska again.
@hlm184 I have a magnet to keep my sewing straight. Works great for hems and such. For bigger things I just eat the time and use a meter stick and tailors chalk. I have this model machine:
Edit: this is not my machine but the same model. Mine's not as pretty. The decorations are long since gone. And my desk is very plain.
@kendraColeslaw - I'm not sure yet. We know we want a female because our male would pair better with one and we want another xlarge-giant breed. Dh wants big and fluffy and he gets to take the lead on this one since our current pup is pretty much mine and I picked him. DH would love a wolf hybrid again. He rescued one before, but I'm not real sure about that with young kids.

At all the restaurants that have some sort of "kids eat free" special, part of me wants to ask if that means I get to eat free since my milk feeds my kid. XD

@Bluebird2318 I dunno, my baby's pretty lazy. She STILL doesn't have a job :-w
@jellysparkles She totally has a job! She's your boss, isn't she?
My DS is like that WaterSaver Faucet Co. CEO who set weekly time limits on employee bathroom usage but didn't set time limits for his private bathroom.

How does the magnet work? I think my problem is that I can't cut straight lines. I feel like if I had a big table I could use a straight edge and chalk.

Yeah, I wouldn't go down the hybrid road with kids either. You could get a Newfie! My mom is actually looking at leonbergers because she loves newfies and mastiffs and they look like a mix!
I love Newfies too. I suggested the breed and he is going to look into it. We may end up with another Leonberger.

Thanks guys hoping I can do something at some point this weekend I am one of those stubborn people that wants and tries to do it all even tho they can't , then they blow up
Oh and also got a letter today that they've been giving me too much maternity benefits so they want 210 bucks back
I went to the sleep study doctors office and got hit on 3 different times on the 3rd floor. (Not bragging- highly unusual) Two men went out of their way to help me find the right office, one insisted on walking me there. Another guy even gave me his card, and I was wearing my wedding ring, WTF! I was thinking wow the pregnancy/bfing hormones must be like phermones. Then I remembered I have big tits now. Having boobs is like some kind of super power!
Well today has been a wash. LO has only taken ONE 30-minute nap today, not exaggerating. She's never done that before. I need to cleeeaaan!! But I'm stuck on the couch.
Aryssa will only nap laying on me today. So much for getting anything done. The dog somehow shredded two diapers all over te bedroom and i wanted to go to target
Re: cute blankets The last thing we need in this house is another effing blanket. I would need to have 7 children and move to the North Pole to utilize all of the ones we have...

That's a neat idea! My guitar, which I have yet to learn to play, could actually get some use if I do that.
I get a good 45 minutes every day going through my instruments, playing them for a while, and then supervising M while he examines them. The guitar is just the only one he can get noise out of so far!
I was noticing today during tummy time how small most of the blankets I got as gifts really are now that she has done some growing. What can you do with so many small blankets? Other then donate I mean
Thanks bosses. I love pumping in a room with no blinds on a window that faces directly into our own building. Enjoy the view, fellow co-workers and patients!

Jiggle your tits at them. Watch how fast you'll get blinds. Lol

Reusable wipes? I just put a stack of the plain, not special ones in the sewing room for that reason.
I need to stop jumping the gun on diaper changes. Jack just went through 5 diapers in one changing. Every time I pulled the old one out from under one he'd poop again on the new one. Trying for the world's largest carbon footprint.

Someone asked me how to spell Drake the other day . As far as I know there aren't any alternate spellings
