@poru if you're not already, try regular oatmeal! Better oats makes some with flaxseeds, which are good for supply, and then I add extra flax seed meal and brewer's yeast to it.

yep I do oats, brewers yeast, and flax on the regular. Sigh.
Double sigh. Just do what you can do. You can't drive yourself crazy!

Tripping balls at a thread on parenting where someone's MIL rode 26 blocks in a car with OP's 8 month old IN HER LAP. Because the carseat was too hot from being left in the car. And felt she did nothing wrong.
Just looked. Holy shit. I would be livid as all hell. That poor mom. I can't imagine how she feels.

I probably would have smacked her. Not just "Oh I would smack a bitch" I would have actually smacked her. I can't imagine. She would definitely be off the babysitting/driving/being left alone with LO list forever and temporarily off the allowed to hold list.
Why do my boobs look so good? Then I peed on a stick...

My MIL is in her late 80s now, and I think I can safely safe even she wouldn't do that.

FFTC, I have ridden in a pickup with DD in my lap. It was out at my cabin in the middle of nowhere. The only road is 13 miles long with an ocean at one end and a huge lake at the other. There are only 10 vehicles that use the road and no one travels faster than 15 mph.
That said, if anyone tried to ride with my child in their lap anywhere else, there would be hell to pay.

A place like voodoo just opened up near my house and they have a maple bacon one. The tiramisu is amazing. Well baby weight, it looks like you'll be around a while...
@poru You reminded me... And maybe this can help you. I can't donate the milk I've been stashing because the nearest milk bank is a few states away and to mail donations they want 200oz with a continuing commitment. Since we will move soon, I can't fulfill the continuing commitment part. :-<
So, I have 200+oz in my freezer that need a new home with a baby that will drink it.
Any ideas?
Look for the local chapter of Eats on Feet or Human Milk for Human Babies. I have donated through HM4HB with DD1.

DH had DS' carseat (with DS in it) on his lap in a pickup once. It was a closed, private road up to a field for like, three minutes.
Ladies who have used a lubed thermometer or Q-Tip for baby constipation: when did you see a BM afterward? A-game normally has one nice, big poo a day, or every other day at most, but she hasn't pooped since the weekend. All she's doing is straining, having unbelievably vile farts, and crying, and I feel so bad for her! Pedi said a little diluted prune juice at her appointment this morning, but DH had to go to work after so we couldn't stop to get any and I have no way to get to the store that I'd trust with a baby in tow. @-)

I don't like doughnuts either . Too much like sweet bread to me .
My guy has abandoned naps today. He's crazy happy and talkative but mama wants a break. I did have a productive day despite no nap time tho and was able to make a potato salad , devilled eggs and do 4 loads of laundry . Still unshowered tho . Oh well it's wine o'clock my baby is happy and my DH is bbqing ribs
Apologies if my talk of my day of household chores and cookery offends anyone
@honeyzoo I had that same thought when I saw it! Though technically most states legally only require 1 year old to turn forward, so it's possible she's just a little 1yo
I put on a sports bra with the intention of today being the day to start working out! But first I had to feed the baby. Who vomited all over my boob and in my bra.
Soooo, guess im just not meant to start working out yet
I went for a trail run today and it felt AMAZING! Only two miles, but it really helped clear my mind and energize me. I've been way lazy about losing this baby weight (read: I eat whatever I want and play with LO all day), so I've made a goal to lose most of it before winter hits. I don't really mind the extra cushioning, but I'm too cheap to buy all new clothes. And I miss my old clothes...
@jellysparkles I'm running the 5k in your town the day after Thanksgiving with my sister. Any chance you're a runner??
@LolaDair - the burn happened before the bleach. Also, we don't have hard water. I use BG 4.0 and thought it was the elastic being tight. Enough CD talk for RTT-- I will bother the CD board! thanks though!

I'm the crazy ftm that looks up autism all the time because ds isn't rolling, sitting up, or doing tummy time well at 3 1/2 months. It causes me so much anxiety. I hope if I have any other kids, I'm not this crazy. I swear it's just because I care.

I'm a runner in theory but not in practice We ALWAYS go to the parade that immediately follows, though! Maybe I should get off my ass and participate this year...
Doooo it!! I love night runs. :-) Your town has so many fun festivals throughout the year.
I love to be a runner at races where there are people around watching and a crowd cheering... Training? Not so much. I'm the idiot that did a half marathon with zero training and wanted to die at the end.

Im the idiot that did a half marathon WITH training and wanted to die at the end. So, really you just saved yourself a lot of time and energy!
Whoever was talking about the show Outlander...I hate you. i watched the first episode and now I need to figure out a way to make Starz a part of my life. And sadly I don't think there is anyway to get Starz without cable. (

I added Starz to my life, just for this reason. Is it possible to get it and just watch the show online?

@ Twirple I don't know. My hubby looked at it (briefly) and is pretty sure that you have to have cable to get it at all. I know that's the way HBO works. I'm probably going to look into it a little harder cause it was so good!
I need a night away. I'm a mom, and a damn good one at that. I am so run down from only being mom. I want to be Kristina for a day. Mom's need lives too, right?

Since I wholeheartedly agree with needing a night out, I'll forgive your use of an apostrophe for a plural. This time.

I also bought a new workout DVD, scale and weights to start working out again. Let's see how this goes.
