Hehehe. So, I put myself in TB time out for a few and actually thought about my actions. This is what I've come up with:

I truly do feel like an asshole for posting it on O14. Not because I don't support what I said or take it back, but because it didn't need to be posted there. As you are aware, that was not my intention. I had two browsers open (one for N14 and one for O14) and did a stupid thing. But, obviously, I wouldn't have deleted AND reposted here if I was eating my words. It was more for entertainment on our board's behalf (and, yeah, of course anyone can read it), but I am sorry about accidentally bringing drama to another BMB. I'm sure you are all very nice ladies and you were just supporting your fellow bumpie, which we do over here. I expect and accept the flames for this.

The intention of my post was NOT for N14 or any other board to flame this OP. In fact, normally I would just leave a snarky comment on the OP and leave it at that, but I actually didn't want to mess up the glitter and rainbows mojo O14 had going on. Yeah. And how did that work out for me?

I haven't read all the wonderful responses (did I see something about eating a dick in there?), but I'll leave it at that. Unless curiosity gets the better of me, I'm not going over to see the comments on the O14 "oops" post. Because I am totally a delicate little flower going to try not posting on other people's BMBs for a little while. :-)

And for all the N14 bishes support your girl here, I LOVE YOU! Thank you for still having me.

Because I don't want to go back and read through all your crap comments.

I am so happy to hear @crizz13 that you help you friends an family out by providing the booze and transportation back so that they could get in thier cars and drive home.

I did say that have lurked and even commented on som post. I have been pretty friend and even said that I was lurking. I am due in November. We have also had a few ladies deliever earlier then expected.

To come over to a BMB and start to flame someone for a comment that you can only judge from. INSTEAD of just letting it go and maybe have some compassion for a fellow bumpie. That is the low blow.

Are we not to be example to fellow bumpies and to others lurking that we can get along and understand one another? But yet stupid crap like this is pulled. Even on the board that it came from. That was this OP huge mistake. Maybe to do it behind someone's back. BUT you all decided that it would be better to make a comment to tell the OP BMB that you were going to make fun of her, talk about leaving HUGE bread crumbs. Then waiting for us to follow and say that we can not defend one of our own. Will then you are not what I thought this BMB was all about. I guess what I will take from this is that you all don't care about others and are all just big bullies.

Okay, disregarding all the inter-board drama, I just have to say @absolutelymaybe‌ - you were totally in my head on this one. I was bored and lurking BMBs around us this morning and saw the thread in question. I read the whooole thing (it was like a train wreck, I couldn't look away) and then settled in to read the flames...and there weren't any. I've even checked back a couple times since because I can't believe there was no flaming. Craziness.

really, there is nothing wrong with helping to plan your own shower. There is however, everything wrong with essentially saying "if no one steps up, then I am going to plan my own! Come hell or high water, I WILL HAVE A SHOWER!" That attitude is just unbecoming, regardless of how hard knock your upbringing was--there is no excuse for it. Third, kinda crappy that when the first person who actually did step up and offer to host it, the OP later then shot her down in favor of someone else doing it. It screams "you're not good enough!" Had she just let the original person, she likely could have saved herself that huge fucking headache, especially given her past history with her mom. Pick your battles. This clusterfuck likely could have been completely avoided. Perhaps OP lives for drama.

I was thinking the exact same thing. She definitely should have just let her SIL plan it from the start given her history with her mom.
