Appointments 7-28 thru 8-1: Check in!

So...I am really pregnant! Surprisingly, they did a transvaginal ultrasound, which made the 30 oz of water I drank an hour before the test completely useless. The first ultrasound was great, I only measured about 4 days differently than I was expecting: my new due date is February 20th. I am so excited to get to change over to a new fruit on Friday instead of Tuesday that I changed my siggy...but I guess that means I also have to change my check in day, too. (Sorry Tuesday mamas!)

Baby was wiggly and had a heartbeat of 169bpm. We got three pictures, and in all three our baby's hands are waving all over the place. DH is thrilled!

My OB's office called today and said they scheduled me for an ultrasound on Friday morning. Woohoooo...finally! After a disappointing prenatal appointment on Monday, we FINALLY get to see this baby!

Had my 2nd appointment on Tuesday at 11w, 3d. It went well- I'm only up a 1/2 pound (not bad for being on vacation for 3 out of the last 4 weeks since my last appt), and there was a strong 160ish bpm heartrate.

It took her almost 5 minutes to find the heart beat, which would have freaked me out last pregnancy, but she mentioned doing an u/s if she didn't find it in a couple more minutes, and I was kinda hoping to get another peek at Peanut.

We went ahead and scheduled appt #3, as well as my anatomy scan (9/18 can't get here soon enough!).

scgmama - That happened to us too for our NT scan. the baby did move a little bit but not a whole lot. I was concerned at first but the tech said that was normal.

My appointment went very well yesterday. I have to say, I love all the doctors in the practice. I would feel comfortable with any of them delivering my baby. Yesterday she did the doppler and I was able to hear the heartbeat again. Babycakes came in the 150s. She reviewed all the results of my lab work. Everything came back perfectly normal. No gestational diabetes!!! (My biggest fear) She also had the results of my Maternit21 test. Everything came back fine with that as well. She also had the gender results. Since DH wasn't with me I had her write it down for me so we could open later after we both got home from work. Of course though I couldn't wait and drove to DH's office so we could open it before I headed into work. It's a girl!!!! We decided we wouldn't announce it until our anatomy scan which is scheduled for 8/29th. I am so excited.

I had my appt today. I was out after about 5 mins with the doctor. Heard the healthy heartbeat

Had my appt this morning and everything was good! We got to hear the heartbeat which I will never ever get tired of

DH recorded it so that we could listen to it whenever and play it for our families. Scheduled the next appt for 17 weeks and the A/S for the week after - eek! So exciting!

Back from a 45min appointment with MFM - all of them are on track and doing well. After weeks of not knowing what was to happen when, we finally have a date. Keep me in your T+P for 8/6!

Had my first appointment today--heard an amazing good strong heartbeat of 165! I'm so relieved and it feels so much more real--there's really a baby in there! No ultrasound until 20 weeks since everything is healthy. I'm very fine with that, hearing the heartbeat calmed me down enough (though it would have been cool to see the little bean)

Had an appt today ~11 weeks today. Had another ultrasound after my crazy Monday and getting diagnosed with a subchorionic hemorrhage. Everything is looking great but baby was a bit camera shy lol! I think he/she was just mad about being probed during a nap. He/she flipped away from the probe and settled back in for a nap. Picture doesn't show much...just a large head and an open gaping mouth lol what a little acrobat I have already!

I had my midwife appointment yesterday afternoon. Basically she took a look at things down there and felt around. Also after a min or two of trying (which feels like an hour) she found the heartbeat. Makes me nervous everytime. But everything is looking good. NT scan on Monday.

I had my first OB appt on Wed. I'm 10 weeks so she said it was too early to hear HB on Doppler. We tried.

She saw how nervous I was so she was sweet to write me a script for an u/s. Went today and baby is doing good! I was so scared something had happened. No way I could of waited until 20 wks!

Glad everything went well @krendel1990! I hate how urgent the docs/office staff sound on the phone without telling you what's wrong til you get there! Makes you panic for no reason...

And thank you!! DH thinks this baby is a boy because he/she was just lounging around inside my belly. When we had DD's ultrasound, she was doing somersaults and karate moves the entire time.

Had an appt this afternoon with the midwives, still going strong!! Heard the heartbeat via Doppler (163 b/m)!! 12 weeks 1 day!! Hopefully only another couple weeks and morning sickness will be done!

13 week check up was today! We had an u/s at 9 weeks so none today, but we did hear the heartbeat through a doppler at 160! Most beautiful sound! No concerns..very boring check up!
