Appointments 7-28 thru 8-1: Check in!

I had my appointment.  Just one baby with a heart rate of 183.  I'm measuring right on schedule and everything looked good.  They had trouble drawing my blood due to dehydration.  I'm also being recommended to schedule an RCS due to complications with DD's birth.

I have my first appointment Wednesday morning. I'll be 10 weeks. I'm using the same doctor I did for DD2. When I was pregnant with her they did a u/s at the first appointment so I'm hoping they haven't changed that and I will get to see baby tomorrow.

We haven't told anyone about the pregnancy yet but are planning to after this appt (assuming everything is good). I always have a hard time telling people and usually make DH do it (I just don't like being the center of attention) but I am ready to get it out there this time. My parents are definitely getting suspicious.

I have my monthly visit on Thursday.  I'll be a day shy of 13 weeks.  Most of last week I was feeling great, eating well, energy back...and then thursday it all went down hill and i'm struggling finding food that is both filling at doesn't make me feel sick again.  so far the only foods this whole pregnancy that are a sure thing to make me feel okay are fresh fruit and raw or barely cooked veggies...which is GREAT and healthy....but I'm nervous about lack of protein...I've been able to sneak some quinoa into salads but meat (especially chicken) is not really happening.  So I'm kinda bummed that after several great days in a row, I let myself believe I was over the "morning" sickness...only for it to return.  Got both my NT and Harmony Test results back and both were great, so that's exciting

I have my first appointment this Friday. Yay!! So excited and nervous at the same time. Hubby is going with. I'm a FTM so I feel so lost. I just want to hear our baby's heartbeat and know everything is ok. I wish you all well and will check back in afterwards.

I finally have my first prenatal appointment this week!!! 4 pm on Thursday.

I'm feeling pretty anxious about it. I've been trying to think positive thoughts. Once I see everything is okay it will be such a relief.

I have an appointment with the next doctor in my practice on Wednesday. We had our NT scan last week so I am assuming this will be a review of my blood tests and routine quick appointment.

Had my 10 week apt today.  Nothing too big so I took my toddler along.  WRONG!

Pee, do vitals then nurse hands me the paper gown.  Forgot it was time for my pap smear.  3yo son kept asking questions.  He wanted to sit and read books but the only places to sit gave him a perfect view.  I had him stand next to my head and hold my hand.  He kept asking "Why?" so I said "so you won't need therapy later on."

At least my obgyn & nurse laughed.

Had 12 week appointment today . Had a moment of panic when Dr couldn't find kiddo with doppler . Thankfully a quick US revealed our acrobat doing flips with a nice strong Heart beat !

We have an ultrasound tomorrow...just a follow up from 2 weeks ago.  My OB does a lot of U/S for those who are high risk or have been high risk in prior pregnancies. I confirmed that my insurance covers, otherwise i would have cancelled. I may or may not have a pap, they put it off last time because i was on Crinone and it could skew results, but I am still on it til Thursday, so not sure what they'll do. Will also schedule our NT scan which is exciting.

Had my NT scan this morning and everything is normal!  Thank God.  Now I can't stop staring at the ultrasound photos, and judging the nub.  Heart beat was 154.   I call BOY.  I'm 11 weeks and 5 days.  It's finally feeling real!! There's a baby in my tummy   so happy.

Just turned 10 weeks today! First OB appointment tomorrow! So excited to see the little sweet pea on the dating u/s! Let you all know how it goes.

Just finished my ultrasound! My baby is a little wiggle bug! Wouldn't sit still for anything! Everything is right on track with my due date and looks healthy!

My mini human was soooo lazy! Just chilled there for the u/s but I got to "hear" the heartbeat from the u/s which made me happy and OB said baby was perfect! He also showed me the baby's nasal bone, mini human definitely has daddy's nose lol.

My 14 week appointment is on Thursday. It will be the first time I get to hear the HB.

Great NT scan. The fold measurement was normal, heart rate was great, measurements are perfectly on track, and the nasal bone was great! I'm so relieved. I've had such anxiety over this appointment and I'm so relieved! I feel like I can finally get excited about this pregnancy!

I have my NT scan on the 29th and my 12 week appt the 31st. Very nervous for some reason.

Had my midwife apt today. The student took a bit of time to find the heartbeat with the doppler...I was getting a little panicky lol. But it was all good. The NT results came back in the normal range so that was great news! 

 Glad everyone is having great apts!

So jealous of all the NT scans! Don't have mine until Aug 15th!

I am going in tomorrow for a 10 week check up. I have a history of losses so I begged for an extra ultrasound!

I finally had my first appointment today! Everything looks amazing! Baby is measuring perfectly at 9w3d, 180 heartbeat and due date is still Feb 28th! So relieved that everything is going as planned! These last weeks were hell! Here's the little peanut! Xxxxxx

Had our 10w appt this afternoon. Heart rate of 170 and baby looked great! It was flapping it's tiny arms and legs which was so crazy to see!!

And I am through! I saw the LO moving with strong heartbeats. We got the NT scan done and the doc said it looks good. Though my LO is a lazy bum, I am happy . And I am going to keep praying for all you ladies. I am meeting my OBGYN on 4th Aug.

We had our first appointment yesterday. Great to hear a little HB. Baby was 170. Is it weird my husband wanted to come along? I was talking to my mom and that surprised her. She even asked if the doctor thought it was odd.

Wish me luck ladies! My first appointment is in an hour. I have a gut feeling they're not going to do an ultrasound...which will be a bummer...but at least we'll get to hear the heartbeat! I'll update as soon as I can! GL to anyone else with appointments today

Well that was uneventful and incredibly disappointing. All the doc did was take our medical history, an internal and a pap. No heartbeat, no ultrasound. No paperwork to schedule an ultrasound in 5 weeks! Wtf! Please tell me at 13 weeks I'm not being unreasonable. She said it was too early to hear the heartbeat. What? I'm beyond annoyed at this point and am tempted to call the office and ask for an explanation of their timeline. I know I sound bratty, but after waiting 13 weeks I thought I'd come away from my first appointment with something reassuring.

I have my next us at my 11-12 week appointment on 8/1. I am so nervous and so excited! Our first us was at 6w4d and all was well, so I hope the little one is continuing as expected. Any tips?! Hope all of yours go well!

Just came back from the NT scan.  Measurements are all good but I still need to get my blood work done for the 2nd part of the screening. 

It was so good to see the baby again - got so much bigger since the 10 week ultrasound!!!

I have my NT scan on 7/31 at 3pm. I am really excited to see how baby has progressed since 8 weeks. Does anyone know how long it takes to get the results back from the blood tests?

Had my last real appt with the RE this morning!  (Although I may go back if my OB has trouble scheduling my NT scan).  It was a seriously amazing appt!  Baby A was dancing up a storm, wiggling around, being all cute and baby like!  Baby B was snoozing away, sucking it's thumb.  What a difference from a couple of week ago, my gummy bears now look like babies!!!  And while I'm AWing, here they are!

I have my NT scan tomorrow morning at 830, I had a great dating ultrasound at 7 weeks but I'm nervous for this one for some reason.
