With my first I didn't have any early symptoms so I had no idea I was just really hoping that I was since it was our first time trying. With this one, I knew within a couple days. It was so weird!! I had HORRIBLE mood swings, nausea, and breast tenderness right away. I told my husband that I think I'm pregnant. He said I was crazy!! I thought I might be since I had just had a miscarriage 2 weeks before and we weren't "trying" to conceive. But we were soooo excited to find out that I actually was pregnant! :)

  • I had one thought that it was possible this time. We were on our way to dinner with family, and I was ravenous. I thought to myself, "Hmm the last time I felt a hunger like this was when I was pregnant." I quickly thought, "no way" and didn't think of it again. That next weekend my temp was still up, and I was going to be drinking that day, so I decided to take a pregnancy test. Lo and behold, I got a positive. I was shocked as hell, lol.

  • Surprisingly I knew almost immediately (even though all the tests were coming back negative). I just felt like my body was different. I didn't know how in tune I was with myself until I was pregnant! Sooo..what started it all was I had a dream that I took a pregnancy test and I brought the test to the doc..and she told me it was a girl. If only it happened that easily (Finding out the gender)! Haha... But anyway when I woke up I told my husband about the dream, and I told him that I was pretty sure I was actually pregnant in real life. Sounds so freaky, I know! So I took a test and negative..took a few more tests and they were negative..but after every test I would say "Give it a few more days..it will be positive soon." And BAMMM took a test on May 10th and positive... It was the most amazing feeling to finally see those two beautiful pink lines! Now we will see if my dream was right and it is going to be a girl haha
  • No. Just hopeful before the test.

  • The only hunch I had was that my breasts felt heavy. They're usually sore leading up to my period but this was completely different. Other than that, I felt the same.

I think I did. My husband and I did not take precautions on our anniversary and I ovulated a couple of days later. I felt that. Then, a shot time (days) later, I felt crampy. I think I associated that with implantation. I also spotted a bit. I had a major hunch at that point.

  • I had absolutely no idea...
  • I was trying not to get my hopes up because it was our first month trying, but my stomach felt off and although I tried to chalk it up to something my kids had given me I got a little concerned.  I was supposed to go out with SIL and that might include drinking.  I was staying at my in-laws and didn't want them to find a pregnancy test in the trash so I took it at a local Target and was feeling so blessed when it came up positive!

Sore boobs, random heartburn (I was eating healthy), random back pain, missed period and just felt kinda off. What really had me skeptical was the fit I threw when the deli hubby and I went to gave me corn dogs instead of burritos. LOL

The HPT kept saying negative but when I was 5 weeks it finally revealed a BFP! ^_^
  • It was the first time during our 5 months ttc that I had no symptoms. My biggest symptom was that normally a week before my period I have sore boobs and I didn't. I actually thought my period was here bc the day it was supposed to start I had spotting. After 2 days of weird light spotting I decided to test and I got a BFP 16 dpo.
  • After about 10 months of trying, we stopped "trying" in May, and that's of course when I got pregnant! Since we where not trying I thought I had a stomach bug, but before I called the doctor, I decided to take a home test just to rule pregnancy out, and sure enough....... I'm 8 weeks now!
  • We had given up hope of ever having babies after being told IVF was our only option. I had given up charting, tracking, temping, and everything else. I had also been told that my bloodwork indicated that I'd most likely go into an early menopause.
So needless to say when my period was late, I was cussing up a storm thinking menopause was starting (I'm only 35). The next day I took a HPT pretty much as a formality (and because I had one left in the cabinet) and OMG. Now I'm 10 weeks pregnant with twins. :)
I'd like to wave my pee stick in the fertility doctor's face.

  • I had a feeling right before I left for an international work trip.......

I took a test and there was the faintest plus sign on the test. I asked DH his opinion, and he said, "I'm not sure, but I wouldn't drink any wine while you're in France."

I took another test a week later when I got home and there was NO denying the positive sign then =)

Give it about two weeks and then take a test. Best way to know for sure!

I definitely knew with my first pregnancy. My boobs were super sore which I'd never experienced before and had gained like a cup size so I just took a test to confirm. This time, NO IDEA. I actually felt very normal and was surprised at the test, and I still feel totally normal. I keep grabbing my boobs to see if they're sore, but nope. Maybe cause I'm still nursing? Who knows. I'm happy to have no symptoms though! I'll take that for as long as possible!

  • No but i did have a strong feeling i was not only was my period late i was also had really sore breast & i was having really wild dreams that i was pregnant about a week before i knew i was but idk if thats really happened to a lot of people
  • I had crazy bloat before my BFP, which I never get from AF.   Also had some tingling sensations behind my nipples, mostly on my right breast.  I also had some "bubbles popping" sensations in my uterus.  I had a pretty good feeling that I was pregnant.

  • The day I was supposed to get my period I went for a run and my breasts were really sore. When I got home I took a pregnancy test and was shocked and thrilled to see it was positive! Of course, that means I found out at 4 weeks and so this 1st trimester has seemed 100 years long...
  • I've always thought it was a little silly to claim you "knew" that early but I did both times I've been pregnant. This time I was having serious tailbone pain, exhaustion and was crying over the silliest things by 2 1/2 weeks. I didn't want to get my hopes up because my previous pregnancy resulted in a miscarriage but the only other time I'd had such sudden, odd symptoms was when I was pregnant and... Sure enough...
  • I always know about a week after conception because I have a dream about taking a positive test...and I have that dream up until I do test...and so far it has ALWAYS been right...sadly always knowing so soon I also have experienced a few cem pgs too...I typically find out between 3w2d and 3w4d...wish just once I could wait till I was farther to find out...
  • I was constantly peeing, tired & ravenously hungry.
  • Both times, about 5 days before my period was due, I had so many pregnancy symptoms. Neither time I was pregnant. Both months that I got a BFP, I have had no symptoms at all and have been shocked.

  • I was about a week post ovulation and my breasts were so sore, each day they felt heavier.
This was the first month DH and I tried to conceive. I thought there was a good chance I was pregnant but also that it was in my head.
6 days before missed period took a test and it had a faint positive. 2nd test 3 days before my period was due and the line was a little darker.
Im 4 weeks and super excited, DH is in shock. I have a few people I wanted to tell right away but we decided to wait just in case.
