This may sound weird or TMI but i wasn't even late and i had to pee and noticed my urine smelled different haha. So i just decided to grab a Pregnancy test and there it was...positive!
Looking back, I should have suspected right away! I conceived about a month before our wedding, so I chalked all my symptoms up to stress about the big day.
I had very tender breasts quite soon after I conceived, and very slight spotting in place of my usual period. I remember complaining that our laundry room smelled terrible, even when my husband and mother-in-law could only smell the detergent (the same stuff I had been using for 6 months). I was slightly nauseous daily, but I get that way when I am nervous so I was expecting it leading up to the wedding. I started having a major aversion to eating meat, which was very weird for me.
I did take THREE pregnancy tests after I missed my period, but they were all negative. It wasn't until we were on our honeymoon and I still wasn't feeling better that I decided I really needed another test, and sure enough: positive!
I had a "feeling" a week after conception. My breasts were sore and heavy as if I was about to have my period, but I knew it was too early to get it. I distinctly remember telling my husband I thought we might be pregnant.
With my son I clearly remember that we were hanging out with our neighbors having a drink, and my friend offered me another beer and I just all of a sudden thought, "You know what, maybe I shouldn't."
This time, I know this can't be possible and it makes me sound crazy, but 7 dpo I was out to lunch with a friend and my food came and I literally could only eat 2 bites. I had so much nausea. I said, "I feel exactly like I did when I was pregnant with Nathan." I tested a few days later and it was negative. A few days after that, still negative. I didn't get my BFP until 16 dpo, but I was feeling sick off and on that whole time and my boobs were really sore (which I've never had with AF or my last pregnancy), so I was pretty sure, even though I kept getting negative tests.
We had been trying for 6 months so I knew what it DIDN'T feel like each month. The 6th month I just knew something felt different right away, and 3 weeks into it I was beginning to feel nausea in the morning. I had to wait another week, Thanksgiving Day, to confirm what I felt with a home test and 4 more days to confirm with a blood test at the doctors that I was! (I was so early it wasn't showing on their in house test kits).
Perhaps it was because my co-worker was 4 weeks pregnant at the time and she helped me along though she didn't know herself until the week I found out I was (she was then 8 weeks pregnant)! We had a great time going through our pregnancies together, though our boss was less than thrilled to learn about us.
We were ttc, so I had been temping to track ovulation for a few months. Somewhere I read that if someone has high temps for 18dpo that it is almost a sure sign that one is pregnant. After a week or so, I noticed that my temps weren't going down and I started counting the number of days since ovulation. I didn't believe I could actually be pregnant, but on 18dpo I took a hpt and it was positive. I sat there in shock and showed it to my husband... neither of us could believe it, but it's true
Prior to being pregnant, I would have phantom pregnancy symptoms prior to AF if I thought about it. I finally stopped trying to figure out if I was pregnant based on symptoms as it would stress me out.
A couple days before my BFP, I came home sick from work because I was suddenly exhausted and just overall feeling blah. I took a four hour nap and could have just slept through the night. The night before my BFP, I had a huge freak out about something pretty minor and DH said that he had a feeling at the point that I was pregnant.
I was pretty late and had nausea. Two negative tests. Waited a few days and then got a faint positive. Was soooo excited only to be let down when my doc said they're test came up negative. I cried and cried and kept telling my husband "I KNOW i'm pregnant. I can just feel it!" A week later my husband had bought another test on his way home from work and had to push me into using it (I didn't want to be disappointed yet again. Two more tests and super positive signs that appeared super fast. Yay!
I didn't, but my horse did. I was riding him and he REFUSED to go faster than a walk...then when I got off he put his head on my belly. I was like 'wierd' then that night I peed like 6 times and woke up at 4am to pee (again!) and decided to take a test...it was positive!
Yep. We had been trying about 5 months. Earlier in the year I scheduled a routine checkup with the OBGYN for April 14th. Then she went on maternity leave during that time and rescheduled my appointment for July. I forgot about it. The timing worked out where if I was pregnant, a test could be positive on April 14th. So I kept thinking, well that's convenient. I'll take a test and go see her that day anyway. So I woke up on the morning of April 14th and was pretty sure I had a bladder infection. I thought to myself, well now I'm gonna be pregnant and that's going to mean a different antibioitc for this UTI because April 14th is the day I'm going to be pregnant. And I was. No symptoms at all until 6 weeks. Just kind of a weird story
With my first I had really sore boobs and a coworker friend jokingly told me to go buy a test.
With this pregnancy it was the gagging. I had been feeling crappy for a few weeks but I had bad anxiety due to my husband being laid off. I didn't think it was anything but stress until I walked into my kitchen one morning and threw up in the sink. I had cut cantelopue for my dd the night before and forgotten to take out the trash, the smell was overwhelming. as soon as the gag hit me I instantly knew why I'd been feeling bad and went to find a stick to pee on. I had an immediate (before even setting t down to wat 3 minutes) BFP.

DH and I had been trying for 3yrs... So I went through about a week and a half of symptoms (which for me started around week 3-4). First sign was sore boobs, but I wrote that off until it lasted for 3 days and had no clear reasons... then came sleeping a ton and always feeling tired, but I still denied it because of all the disappointment over the years. Finally, a day before AF was supposed to visit were she on schedule with the recent timing since I was taking fertility med, I got sick right after dinner... Big clue, instead of my stomach emptying (which is usually a sign of bad food, etc), it was just a little acid and then I felt tons better. After that I told DH to grab some tests on his way from home in the morning and sure enough, the next morning I got the BFP. Was the best moment of my life!
I should mention that I am really big into dream interpretation and I pay close attention to them. But one night I had a dream about a cow grazing in a field and then the next night I had a dream about a fish swimming in a tank. The following night I had a dream that I was smelling a vanialla candle and got so sick to my stomach. So after the 3rd nights dream I decided to look them up. To dream of a fish swimming in water for women tends to mean that they are conceiving. To dream of a cow in some cultures is a symbol of motherhood and nurturing. I couldn't find anything about the candle but after the first two dream meanings I decided to take a test. I wasn't even 10 days post ovulation when I had the dreams but I took a test anyway. There was my positive!!! That was literally the only reason why I took a test but in hind sight, I did notice that my breasts felt quite "full." but it wasn't enough for me to suspect anything.
I felt a lot of symptoms. I was nauseous in the morning and my lower back was hurting so bad. I was more hungry than usual and getting mad at my boyfriend for the littlest things. He made a joke about me being pregnant and I really started to think about it and decided to take a test. I found out when I was 5 weeks. (3 weeks ago).
Yes. Both times I knew for sure. I had a feeling, and I had symptoms. The symptoms might have been self fulfilled prophesies which stemmed from the feeling, but whatever, I had them, and I didn't have them the two months in-between pregnancies. (I had a MC.)
I had extreme morning sickness two weeks before my NEGATIVE pregnancy test. I thought i was crazy. The next two weeks I had painfully sensitive nipples and more morning sickness. That was when I got my first BFP.
I was in denial for my first (he was a surprise), had a good idea about my second, had no idea with the miscarriage, and had no idea with this one - actually with this one, we were about to give up all hope of ever having a third, so he/she has been a real shock to both of us!

i did kind of have a feeling. i woke up early one morning, already
with the thought to take a test. (i had bought them weeks earlier when
we started trying.) i tried to go back to sleep, cause i wasn't really
ready for that news, but that didn't work. i had been feeling very
bloated and sluggish, for longer than any pms would cause, and deep down
i knew what my body was doing--ready or not!
best of luck to you.
don't "try" too hard--you don't want to create stress or
discouragement. just have fun, and enjoy every moment. it will all be
completelt different soon enough!
I had a dream I was pregnant and funny tingling sensations in my belly that I never had before. I also had very sore boobs and was exhausted all the time.
Random cramping and bleeding 2 weeks after my last "period." I have NEVER cramped that bad. It hit me while I was doing dishes and I couldn't even stand up.
The only symptoms I had could have just as easily been PMS signs - sore boobs, more tired than usual, cramps...I took the pregnancy test on a whim, really, not expecting it to be positive (even though we were trying). I was shocked when I saw "Pregnant" on the test! I am still in disbelief, frankly. Sore boobs haven't gone away, nor has the tiredness. Cramps are dissipating, though, so that's good!

YES! Or suspected, anyways. Things I felt: definitely more fatigue. I was sleeping 8 hours a night and still wanted to nap, which is weird for me. Dizziness from about 5 dpo - 10 dpo. Strong dull ache on my right side but not really like AF cramps from 5-8 dpo. I got a BFN on 9 dpo, 10 dpo, and 12 dpo. Didn't test on 13 dpo but got a BFP late on the night of 14 dpo!
For my DD I just had a feeling and I had no symptoms til 6 weeks pregnant when the morning sickness kicked in and didn't subside until about 30 weeks. I just felt compelled to look at babiesrus.com and look at all sorts of baby related information. But that feeling at about 5 weeks pregnant got confirmed by a BFP.
I had a huge craving for hot cheetos stuffed inside a big pickle! I also put on teno pounds in one week. We only started trying that month and BAM we were pregnant! I'm 11 weeks!
I actually had a strong feeling I was before it was even possible to tell. When my boobs started hurting a week before I was suppose to get my period then I didn't get my period and they still hurt and it just got worse, and I was having nausea, it only confirmed my suspicion. My fiance knew too. I took the test about 2 weeks after my missed period and it showed up positive within 5 seconds, it was very fast. I was 6 weeks. Doctor confirmed last week at 8 weeks 1 day. I am now 9 weeks!

The only thing I noticed (besides my period being a tad late) was I could/can smell EVERYTHING! My husband was eating UTZ Potato Chips last night and they smelled like farts.
I didn't know, but HE did! He even went out and bought the test, and forced me to take it. All the while, I was insisting that I couldn't be pregnant. I got a big, fat I TOLD YOU SO! Lol
I had symptoms of being pregnant this time around but I debated with myself if I was or were not. I have super sore breasts, ungodly tired, nauseated, headaches, food aversions/cravings, frequent urination, and implantation bleeding. The implant bleeding is what got me. I have spotted in the past and my period followed directly after. When my spotting ended a few days before my period, I knew right then and there.
Nope! We had been trying since August 2013 when I came off Nortrel. Period was normalish for a couple months than went psycho with super long cycles (40+). So in January of this year, after confirming no PCOS, my dr put me on Provera. I refused Clomid since I didn't want to risk multiples. They worried I wasn't ovulating and one time it seemed like I may have on day 21. Provera was 5-9th of every month, this month my period didn't start (Friday). Saturday, negative hpt. Monday two positive, today one positive urine test at a clinic. 5 weeks, 3 days. Before Monday test, I felt dull cramps, a stretching in my stomach muscles, and bloated. That is why I tested again.
We conceived after the first month of TTC, and I thought every move I made was a symptom. To be honest, it was in my head. It was really no different that pre-menstrual symptoms. I thought for sure I was, then I thought for sure I wasn't. I had no clue.
I did and my husband had a hunch too. I never miss my period so when I was 3 days late, I told him and he got me a pack of home pregnancy tests. Plus, I had had sore boobs for two weeks prior and has been feeling tired. I took 5 tests before calling the doctor, but they all came back positive! I took so many because I have gotten a false positive in the past so I wanted to be sure. Sure enough, our doctor called with the blood results the next day confirming my pregnancy and my husband and I couldn't be happier! It was unexpected, but a pleasant surprise! I am now 5 weeks along.
I definitely knew something was different because I was temping. My temp stayed high and was a steady 98.6 every morning for about 5 days straight. The day AF was supposed to arrive I couldn't wait. Took the test right after my temp, and I was so excited BFP! We tried for about 4 months and my AF symptoms mimic pregnancy symptoms, so my temp was the giveaway!
