That's the crazy thing... I normally would have gone back and said something to her. But I was so damn freaked out (and I've been super emotional lately!) that all I wanted to do was get home!

@LTMama I totally agree. I know kids can be a handful, which is why I mouthed sorry to her. I just don't get the whole oh let me throw my coffee at her car angle. Especially because I could have slammed into someone else or another car!

I get that. I have been more selective in my public battles because I feel like I am more vulnerable now being almost 8 months pregnant lol. But my bitchiness has increased 10 fold for sure

Yeah, went into Motherhood Maternity yesterday to get that support belt and the bitch in there was way too peppy and helpful. I'm in here because I'm in pain. Stop trying to make conversation and ring it up!

To the extent that anyone is responsible for the near miss, it's the mom for not keeping a hold of her kid in a parking lot. Not necessarily her "fault," per se, bcs some kids are hard to control, but it's definitely not yours. That's ridiculous.

Oh gosh as someone who got like a million ear infections through youth and teenage years, I am so sorry you got one! I don't know what I would've done without antibiotics. I always needed them and also needed the doctor to drain out my ear canals.

Oh, I have a bitch from work yesterday....

This woman disconnected her canister filter from her tank (why?) and brought it in because she wanted all new media for it....but EXACTLY the same media that came with it when she purchased it a few years ago. The live animal manager helped her first... told her that you should never replace such and such (or even let it dry out) because it holds the beneficial bacteria and set her up with the other things she could replace.... but some of said things looked different than her version because she bought the filter years ago! So the manager went to call another store to inquire if they had the years old version (because the customer insisted on it). 8-|

All of the above happened without me knowing about it until after I dealt with this woman. When I was paged for customer service and pointed in her direction I found her sitting on one of our step ladders because "she was tired". She asked me if I could open the new version of her filter to see what it had in it. I got down on my knees to open the box and take it apart to see all the different types of media in it. She then pointed to the shelf and asked me to grab everything she needs. At this point I was less than an hour from the end of my shift and hurting, but I still managed to get myself back in an upright position and help her get her items. She complained that a couple things didn't look right and I had to again pull out the other filter to show her they were the same (my fault for putting the damned thing back together before standing up). She bought all new media, including the stuff you're not supposed to replace.

She then had questions about cleaning her rocks and when I told her how we clean ours in the store she wanted to "speak to someone more knowledgeable" because her setup is unique.... so I got her the first manager she had dealt with. Said manager was NOT happy about it either.

As I walked away from her seething in my head she said, "Congratulations by the way." Oh bitch, don't even bother.

TL;DR Entitled customer yesterday didn't give a fuck I was pregnant as she ordered me about.... then had the balls to congratulate me on my pregnancy.

My main B&M is gas. Id be completely cool if I was actually burping and farting, but it feels like so much trapped gas in my abdomen. Between that and LO getting bigger by the day I feel sooo uncomfortably bloated. I know that if I went for a walk Id feel a bit better but I dont even want to do that!

Ugh ME. Guess who locked her keys in her car? I vaguely remember them falling out of my purse on Saturday when we left for a trip (DH drives) and thinking, 'I need bend and get those at some point.' Uh, apparently I never did because I can see them peaking out from under a fast-food bag on the passenger side. Good thing I only had five different errands I was going to do today ... whoops.

I think I'm most annoyed because it is 100 percent my fault. Even though I'd love to blame my husband for locking the car, but, uh, normal and safe people remember to lock their doors every time (unlike, ahem, some of us) so ...

Another one. This stealth UTI I apparently have. I didn't feel well Thursday so I went in and got tested. The strips at the office came back negative as did the one she checked in office under the microscope. She still gave me antibiotics because I was having "symptoms" but I HATE taking meds I don't need and I felt relatively OK (just slightly embarrassed for wasting her time with my faux illness) so I never took the meds. Got the call a minute ago that the culture they sent to the lab was positive. Dammit!!! Now I feel like a bigger idiot for not starting my medicine. I'm tempted to leave work early just to take my first dose. Stupid, stupid, stupid me.

OMG the Austin Powers shoe!!! My kids think its so funny to throw their shoes while I'm driving. To the point that I put their shoes in the car and don't put them on til we get places. It's so aggravating and that made me laugh so hard about it. Oh Austin!!!

So not trivial. I have cried more than once over a bad haircut. Then I just stopped going to hair salons bc they always f*** something up or ignored my request for something simple and gave me a cut that will be perfect "all you have to do is put some of this stuff in and then dry it like that with the blow dryer you don't own and brush it this way with the brush you don't have and finish with some of that stuff you don't have either"
I consider hair halfway to my butt to be Step 1 in turning into my mother.

My arm is killing me from the TDap shot I got a week ago. The shot itself didn't hurt but the after effects have made moving my arm really hurt. I can't put any weight on it or really hold stuff with any weight to it. I thought it was getting better but I must have slept on it wrong or something because it's back to square one today.

LMAO! I just spent the weekend with my 22 month old nephew and he had a CRAAAZY blowout. He was peddaling around on a little plastic trike and poop shot out both sides of his diaper...which he then tracked the bike through and rolled across the tile and carpet floors. It was HORRIFIC! My prego nose with it's super human smell was so not pleased when I was trying to wash it off of everything to help mama out. Oy. Hope you catch her soon!

Just had a huge blow out with the Britax Customer Service girl. They have yet to mail out the part they promised me three weeks ago, but didn't feel the need to call me or email me and tell me that they are out of stock. Queue crazy pregnant lady freak out when I find out that they have done nothing at all to fix their problem. Good news is I am now getting my car seat replaced instead of the 5$ part. FML!

My emotions have gone into overdrive this past week. After fighting with my sisters about their stupid tdap vaccination, I sent them an email (the best way to communicate with the crazy, trust me) explaining why it was so important to me and how much it would help keep baby healthy. I said that my feelings were just really hurt, and I've been stressing about it all week. Aaaand they're both ignoring me.

I just took a trip to the work bathroom to cry for a few minutes because EVERYTHING is getting to me this week. I am so over these hormones.

My policy on this is to just be as polite as you can be and simply state that "No, I'm not saying that you HAVE to get the TDAP, I'm just saying that we aren't allowing anyone who doesn't have it to visit her the first 3 months. Honestly, I won't be offended if you choose not to get it. I would never tell you you HAVE to get a shot like that."

I'm trying to register for a CLEP test so I can go take it this afternoon, and the website has been down ALL FREAKING DAY. Which means, even if I go up to the testing center and try to take it, I won't get to because they use the same website to get people signed up. So it would be completely pointless and a waste of my time.

FTR: H and I don't do foot rubs and back rubs went out years ago. They were popular with us in the early sex every day days. Now we show love and caring through every day little things... like adults in the real world.

WARNING: total whiny-baby bitch session coming

So my mom is a mess anyway... But I'm feeling so annoyed with her today on another stupid petty level.

Caveat here: I love pets as much as anyone and do consider them a part of any family...but they aren't children

We grew up in a show dog family. My mom literally has more pictures of dogs of my childhood than of any of her children. Most of our childhood pictures are of us showing some award winning dog of hers. But today it hit a new low...my sister got a dog this week and my mom put out a birth announcement on FB for her new 4-legged grand baby.

I know it's petty but ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME!?!

My sister is my best friend and its her goddamn dog and she hadn't even posted a pic, not to mention this makes her feel embarrassed because she also believes pets aren't children, because shes normal, meanwhile my mom has gone berserk and added an album of pics.

I get so much guilt and shit from my mom and it's all unwarranted because she's an insecure, needy, depressed alcoholic. But I still try and love her for who she is, recognizing she has to change herself. But it was bullshit to us as kids and its complete bullshit craptastic behavior to her actual grandkids.

This is in addition to the fact that I must have some virus or some such. I've been dizzy, nauseated, sleepy as hell, and out of it today. I've barely eaten and I took 2 naps today, one before my hubby left to work and one during the kids rest hour.

I also resent the fact that I'm unnaturally worried about my weight because a doc I had to see a few weeks back commented on it and made me feel bad. I think I've gained about 16 pounds so far @ near to 30 weeks...I was running until 19 weeks, I still have morning sickness most days and I eat healthy, probably less most days than preprego
And I'm gaining weight cause that's my body and its growing a baby. And I don't want to feel bad about that anymore.

I'm tired of listening to my father in law talk. Today I told him to stop talking, please. He stared at me like I had 4 heads. In my defense he was trying to talk at me while I was trying to talk to my insurance company... so it's not like I just told him to stop talking forever. I wish he would, but that's besides the point.

But the big bitch is DH's hours just got slammed in half and this is just not the time for us to be oozing money since my manager just helped me slice down some of my hours for sanity/back pain/I'm getting too damn pregnant to do my job effectively.
