@ekh2081 and @dearfoam, it was just a doc I don't normally see because my usual NP was out of the office, but I struggle with this from time to time and it bugged me because she didn't even try and ask about my life or get to know me before giving me the lecture and I have come to realize that it really isn't that up to me anymore, I do the best I can  to honor my body by giving it healthy food and exercise and loving it. Thanks for the support ladies...I know these are petty complaints in the grand scheme of things but it feels good to unload to the sympathetic

well and the whole thing is @dearfoam if she had even tried to talk to me at all as a person vs a number, I could have told her that I usually put most of my weight on in pregnancy in the 2nd tri because its when I have room to eat and feel okay. Right now I have a tiny appetite and can barely eat most days, but I still manage to gain, but much more slowly. In my previous pregnancies I've never had crazy weight gain issues either, my first I gained 35 but I started about 18 pounds lighter with him than my other 2 pregnancies, my second kid I only gained 26. And at that point there shouldn't have been anything alarming about it, when I saw her it had been 5 weeks without an apt and I'd only gained 4.5 pounds during that 5 weeks. Whatever, going to see a different person on Wednesday and I've seen him once before and work with him from time to time in the hospital when he's on call for deliveries so he should be pretty nice to me. Its such a loaded issue I get it, but I also have no other risk factors yada yada.

BTW sorry for the grief from your mom about the diapers. Its totally reasonable and sounds as though you have plenty of poop experience     and she isn't dealing with it so whatever! Its so funny how everyone has an opinion about these things all of the sudden. And you rock for taking care of so many people/dogs over the years, not very many people have a person willing to do all that for family.
