Well, so far so good. Weekly blood work shows HCG level slowly going down. Last week I was at 4. I had to miss blood work this week because my schedule at work was too crazy but I'm thinking by next week I'll be at ZERO!! Once I get there *hopefully* the weekly blood work will start being monthly blood work. Recent ultrasound showed everything inside looked good, no more tumors! Genetic testing for H & me shows no chromosomal abnormalities on either side, so this situation was just a weird fluke I guess. I started my period and my doctor wants me to go on birth control for 6 cycles. I don't want to do the birth control and I'm having a really hard time coming to terms with not trying for 6 cycles. I may seek a second opinion on this. I still pop in to lurk over here every now & again -- always rooting for healthy pregnancies & can't wait to see all the beautiful babies!
I am doing okay lately. I had a CP on my first cycle post d&c and I am currently 14 dpo on cycle 2 post d&c with no sign of AF and no BFP. I had blood work done this week for basic testing and we are starting the process of RPL testing. I am staying hopeful and positive and just trying to be thankful for what I do have.
So glad to hear from you ladies. I miss you guys. Thinking of you all often.
@raelynn71109 - I'm sorry you had to have another d&c. I'm glad it seems like you can finally move on physically. Good luck with your move!
@aaren91011 - So glad to hear you finally got your period again so you can start temping and TTC soon.
@mackenziesmama - I'm glad your hcg seems to finally be getting close to zero. It never hurts to get a second opinion, but from what I know about molar pregnancies you are encouraged to wait at least 6 months before trying again. My friend went through the same thing over a year ago. A second opinion never hurts though.
@mrskbuck - I am so sorry about your CP Good luck with your RPL testing.
Always rooting for you ladies and hope you all get your BFPs when you're TTC again/soon!

Hi ladies! Thanks for the tag @raelynn71109- not sure why the first one didn't work and then the tag from @lisaren looks like it worked but didn't show up in my notifications. Very odd! Just figured I'd check in over here tonight- good timing!
Started back to work last week, which at least was a short week. It sucked but what are you going to do. At least it's been ridiculously busy so I don't have much time to think about anything else.
We got our karyotyping results back on Friday and everything was normal for DH and I. Mixed emotions. You don't want to wish for something to be wrong but you also don't want to be left with no answers- at least if you know what's wrong, you can hopefully fix it. We're still waiting on the autopsy results and I go back in about a month for my RPL testing blood draws- so I'm really hoping that by the end of August or early September, we have all of the results back and some sort of answers. I'll be referred to a MFM at that point since apparently having no problem getting pregnant or making it through 1st tri is a different kind of broken than a RE handles.
So we're in the wait it out phase and I'm trying to use the time well and doing the weight loss/working on the fitness thing. Down 5lbs so far- woo hoo!
@lisaren - hey there mama- how have you been? Yay for AF!!
@aaren91011- hi hon!! Where you been hanging out? Miss you girl
@mackenziesmama - fingers crossed for zero betas!! Six months seems like a long time- did the OB say why so long? I think I'd want a second opinion on that as well. GL!
@mrskbuck - I'm so, so sorry about the CP hon. Glad you're getting the RPL testing started - hopefully you'll find some answers soon!
Big hugs and love and I miss you ladies!

Thanks for the tag @raelynn71109, H and I are on a little vacay to Chicago this week and are enjoying ourselves. It is my FW and I may have ovulated yesterday or might have just had a alcohol induced temp spike since we celebrated my birthday last night (it was actually 2 weeks ago but I was out of town working). Most of the time I am doing pretty well though my actual birthday was pretty hard since I had a BFN a few days before on the first cycle post loss and 37 just feels like time is running out. I am always keeping tabs on you ladies and rooting for every one of you.

How long are you benched for @sunflwra ?
You "sound" good. Staying busy is good, keeps the mind from straying too much.
We've decided to ttc in November. We have a busy summer and kids starting back to school in August.
@mrskbuck sorry about the cp hugs to you friend.
@lisaren - we were benched 3 months last time per the OB's rec. We haven't put a date on this loss, but I'm working from the 3 month time frame right now since that should at least cover the time to get all test results back. I'm being straight with myself though that it could go longer than that if something (or nothing) is found. Just feels like playing Russian Roulette to even consider it until we have all the major possibilities covered.

@sunflwra - hi! I miss you too! I've just been lurking mostly, it's my busy season at work so I took a bit of a bump break. Hopefully soon I will start jumping in more on TTGP and ttcal. I'm sorry you didn't get more answers from the testing, I totally get your frustration on not being able to make a plan. Congrats on the weight loss though! Are you doing anything in particular (ww, low carb, exercise)?
@mrskbuck I'm so sorry to hear about your CP. I hope you get some answers soon! Hugs to you!
@tlc35 I love Chicago! Have some deep dish pizza for me!
@mackenziesmama glad the tumors are gone and your hcg is negative! I would be bummed too about bcp for 6 months and agree that you should get a 2nd opinion. There are good things about being on the pill though - I miss the short, light periods and clear skin!
@Aaren91011 - no big win on the eating front right now- I went back on some medicine that I can't take during TTC/PG and I forgot how much it kills my appetite. I've cut out a lot of junk, but right now between the appetite and work being so insanely busy, I just don't eat much of even the good for you stuff. Hopefully I can take full advantage of it while I wait on all of the other crap!

Thanks for the shout out @raelynn71109, I've been out of town on vacation so I'm just now seeing it.
Big hugs to all my Nov loss ladies ( @Aaren91011@Mackenziesmama@lisaren@mrskbuck@sunflwra@tlc35 ) I'm really glad I get to "see" most of you on the TTCAL Nov check-in but for those that aren't there I'm sending some big hugs your way. Sorry this is so short, but I'm just peaking in to check messages since I've been MIA for almost a week!
Glad to see everyone seems to be doing well! As far as TTA for 6 cycles, it's recommended after a molar pregnancy just to be certain that the rising HCG levels are a new pregnancy & not new tumors. Some doctors say okay after 3 cycles, 6 cycles is a bit more conservative but I think my doctor is erring on the side of caution since this was a second consecutive loss.
I decided today to join a gym. I want to try to focus on getting myself in better shape before we start trying again, and exercise has always lifted my mood in the past. I've spent my time being bummed about what's happened and now I'm ready to channel all that energy into something positive. I'm excited!
Good for you @Mackenziesmama! I am thinking about starting to work out at my university's rec center, but I haven't gone yet. I've gained over 40 pounds in the past year though, so I definitely need to start working on getting in better shape.
Thanks, @Raelynn71109. They drew 11 vials of blood from me last Monday (and ONE from my husband, who acted like he was going to his execution...I've never met a man with as many tattoos as him who is that terrified of needles!). It should take another week or so for the results to come back for karyotyping and the other workups they did on me. I am trying to pass the time without thinking about it as much, but I feel like the days are dragging. I am stuck between feeling like I hope there is nothing wrong at all and hoping that they find an answer that is a quick fix. Either way will hurt, I'm sure, but it is hard for me to believe it has just been bad luck that has caused me to lose 3 pregnancies this year.
Hi guise!! (BTW, changed my name. Formerly mackenziesmama..decided to change because internet security, yo.)
I'm doing really good! Happy to say that my HCG levels have finally hit & stayed negative, and ultrasounds look great so now I'm just trying to stay busy until we can try again! H & me are doing good, we hit a rough spot shortly after the loss, emotions & hormones were crazy but we're in a good place now. And DD starts kindergarten Monday so I'm pretty giddy about that!
Always thinking of each of you, and always here if you need someone to talk to! I'm rooting for you all and hoping you're all doing good.
As for me - for those of you who didn't see my SN change post, I just got a new job! It's really a perfect job for me - it's basically what I was doing before (fundraising) just on a much bigger scale and for a bigger organization. That also means bigger pay, better benefits, and more time off! I won't have to work the crazy hours I was working before, so it will give me much more work/life balance.
Bad thing is, we will have to put TTC on hold for a few months while I settle in to this new role. But I know they will fly by. And the new job will mean more time to spend with my family so in the end it's worth it.
@icaughtfire - glad I'm not the only one jumping on the SN change bandwagon. I've thought about doing it for a while and finally bit the bullet. Glad to hear your levels are down and ultrasounds are looking good! I can totally relate to hormones causing an emotional rollercoaster. Hormones are a BITCH.
Hi name-changing ladies!! I'm doing ok- things are still in limbo right now. We did our chromosomal testing which my OB seemed to strongly think would give us a reason behind the losses but it came back normal. Now we're waiting on the RPL testing and autopsy results to come in to see what happens next. I'm guessing it will come in the next few days and then we'll get referred to a MFM to make a plan. So hopefully we'll know more by the end of the week. I wouldn't mind being on the bench if I at least had a plan, so I'll be glad to know whatever that is soon. Luckily work has been keeping me insanely busy and it's taken my mind off of things.
Yay @icaughtfire for the great levels and congrats @renbee on the new job! Glad to hear from you ladies

@renbee once someone on TTGP said you could change through the Knot instead of emailing the Bump gods I knew I wanted to change it but clearly I'm lazy because it's taken me this long, lol. I'm super excited for you for the new job! Sounds like a great opportunity, and even though TTA sucks I'm sure it'll be worth it!
@sunflwra me & H went through chromosomal testing also and it's such a double edge sword! On one hand you hope it will give you an explanation for what happened, on the other hand you hope there's no issues that can affect future pregnancies. In our case, all results came back normal & our situation was just a fluke. Hoping the best for you. If you wind up on the bench, I'll save you a seat with a glass of wine!
