DH and I need a date night before he goes out for town for a while. I can't think of anything to do. We usually like the casino, but I know I'll ignore him all night. I need something enjoyable where we can talk. And I need to be able to move around and not continuously sit or walk all night.

Would your SO be a sport about it? We can drink before and after as well as do another activity. It's not my first choice, but it fits my needs.

@privacywanted DD and I have done cooking classes together and have had a blast. I think he might hate me more for that than art in the park though. I do appreciate your suggestions. I'm not trying to be difficult. My body is a jerk and DH is well...a PITA;)

That's a good idea @bunkinmama. Casual, outdoor music sounds relaxing and easy to move around. There's always free bands playing outside in the summer around here. I previously nixed a larger concert since we'd be stuck sitting too much. Tickets at bigger venues are too expensive anymore to leave early.

I don't know why I didn't think of it b/c I know I've suggested it to others on here before. lol Thanks again!
