@yellowbird219 - how old is your lo again? Its normal to start aeeing a lot more wet diapers and less poop ones. I think I noticed at a week & a half?
I've been totally MIA the past 2 weeks. This little one is so great but I've been battling the baby blues but staying busy seems to help at least till DH gets home at night. Maybe now that I actually feel better I can finally write my birth story.
I must be extra gross- I've only been showering every 3rd day. It's just a PITA to transport baby and the RnP upstairs and back down to take a shower and he always wakes up.
@ricecakes1216 - my daily goal is to take a shower, if I take a shower I call that day a success. Best of luck to you and your shower! I put my LO in the swing today and took the fastest shower ever!
I put baby in his crib and jump in the shower all the time. The crib is right across from the bathroom. Sometimes he cries for a few minutes before I'm done, but I don't worry too much about it. Is that bad?
C fell asleep so I put him in his cradle, jumped in the shower and he started crying. I let him cry for a minute so I could rinse off. At least I got a shower, even if it was a short one.
Is it football season yet? I'm over the summer heat and ready for fall!
@wareagle1220@ricecakes1216 Same here! Can't wait for my 49ers, Green Bay, and Bama! (Completely random teams, I know lmao) I can't wait to put the boys in little Bama onesies!!!

@lest12 That is what I did for my first shower but when I told DH he looked at me like I was crazy. I can't hear him in the other room and we don't have a baby monitor so maybe that's why he was giving me the crazy look.
Question: Does anybody else have rib pain? It feels like the baby's foot is still in my ribs. I've read that it's the ribs healing but it's been four weeks. I'm planning on calling my doctor, but I want to see if it's abnormal before I call.
Also, @CJnKR2014, I'm sorry you're a 49ers fan...
I am super excited for college football even though my team sucks most of the time (Oregon State). We are flying out to Oregon for two games with the wee one and our tailgate group has all had babies in the last year so there will be 11 babies, so excited!
Had an awesome day (but now I feel like tonight will be hell), went to lunch with my friend and LO was awesome, cleaned the kitchen, dusted (didn't have any duster things so I used a diaper, mommy win!), cleaned the bathrooms and did all our laundry. I haven't had the desire to clean since September before I got pregnant so this was super nice to actually want to clean instead of forcing myself do to it.
I got an Ergo a couple weeks ago. Used it once with the infant insert then discovered Lillebaby carriers. Dang, no insert needed, it's all mesh and you can back carry? So... I was bad and bought it. But I did put the Ergo on a local Facebook baby swap/buy/trade page and it sold for my asking price within a couple of hours. Thankfully Hubs is just going with the flow as I make my way through the land of carriers galore!
I have a wonderful new plan. I will start to pump a bit each day. When I have enough milk to last an entire day, dh is getting left alone with the both kids for nine hours. This time must include a trip out of the house, two meal times, and most likely the toddlers bedtime. The trip cannot be to his mother. It likely won't actually happen, but just the thought of it is making me happy right now.

@Lilygrace48 you definitely need to make sure that happens!!! The next time DH has a day off I am so doing this!
@KrystaJ that's good to know. I kind of figured that would be the cause. C was constantly kicking and stretching into my ribs. The pain is in the same place his feet were.
@nutmegs8 C is starting to get really drooly. I'm constantly covered in it. It's lovely.
If my husband says one more time that I get to relax and sleep all day I am going to nut punch him. I am so freaking tired because I didn't get any sleep last night. I wanted him to take the baby for two hours so I could take a nap. It didn't even last 45 minutes. So beyond pissed off right now. Guess who came home 3 hours after he was done work because he was "packing" up stuff from the old house? Yea, he came home with one box. The asshole took a nap, again after knowing I didn't get any sleep. So the two hours I asked for tonight were totally reasonable.
Nothing quite like nursing when all of a sudden you feel a warm trickle down your side....damn sposies. Thankfully all the cloth just came out of the dryer.
I'm going on my first trip away from H this weekend. C and I are going to my sisters five hours away. My mom is going tomorrow and I'm supposed to go with my other sister on Daturday. I'm really mad at H right now so I'm almost thinking I should go with my mom to get away for a little longer. At least my mom and sister would help me.

I would text him every ten minutes for the duration of the time he is out of the house just to inform him you are not sleeping. All feeding and diaper changes would result in additional texts. All blowouts and spit ups would get a picture message. When he gets home....., continue the texting. Until he gets the damn message and let's you sleep. (You might want to make sure you have unlimited texts befor starting this plan).
First day with hubby back to work. The girls fussed after he left but then settled down into an hour and a half nap. During that time I showered, picked up, did laundry, washed bottles, pumped and rearranged their nursery. Now they're starting to wake up and I'll feed them before they take their late morning nap, where hopefully I can sleep for 2 to 3 hours. Woot!
We hot a 6 hour stretch of sleep last night! And DH got up for a 5am diaper change without me even having to ask. I wish all mornings started like this.
The last two nights we've gotten 5 straight hours, and DH hasn't had to get up because she's been feeding so well and going back to sleep in the MOTN. I started giving her a little full body massage with baby lotion and spending extra time rubbing her tummy (she takes forever to get rid of gas), diaper change, snuggly pjs, feeding til she falls asleep, snuggling for a little bit and then I swaddle her and put her to bed. I'm going to keep up this routine to see if it'll continue giving us that long stretch (that I so desperately needed)
So, my old BMB would do this post called "wordless Wednesday". Basically a post to AW one pic from the week that was funny/cute without any caption. Thoughts on starting it?

I'm a fan. I dare someone to post a positive pregnancy test

That should have been one of our awards. Most likely to get knocked up the soonest or most likely to have Irish twins. DH likes to joke. At least it better be a joke. I like to think a year from now we'll try for number two, but no sooner!
Re: *6/27 Random Awesomeness Thread*
Also, I had my first alcoholic beverage last night and it was awesome!!!!
I want to take a shower so bad but by kid has other plans..
