So I just need to aw the fact that Max is two months old today and had his two month checkup. Little dude tipped the scales at 10 pounds 6 ounces!!!! He has more than doubled his birth weight and jumped from the 5th percentile to the 20th! So proud of my little chunker!

@MommyP710 woot woot! What did you decide to do for Max's shots? I was wondering about the same thing with my late preemies.

@katekat8721‌ Since he defies the odds and is a pretty good size he had all his two month shots today. Once they weighed him I felt a lot better about it. I totally cried though it was harder for me than him haha.

First pp poop... Thank god that's over! It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be but the anxiety I created in my head about it was awful. Stool softeners = miracles in little pills!

My random awesomeness for the day - the swelling in my feet has finally gone away! They look like they did pre-pregnancy! (Except I badly need a pedicure).

Someone wanted to come see baby today at 11. So even though I've been up since 4, I got up, made coffee and tidied up. They called to reschedule and now I can't fall asleep to nap

When did you guys feel comfortable having a drink? I'm only 9 days PP and do not... but DH is dying to get something in me (that sounds dirty, right?)

I had wine the day we got home from the hospital I've only really wanted small glasses (usually half of a normal drink) but I've drank several times. I missed it!

I had a mimosa maybe three or four weeks after? It was delicious. But otherwise I really haven't had the desire. My big 3-0 is in two weeks and we're going to a fueling piano bar but I may forgo the drinks.

Took a bag of clothes (both Charlie and C's outgrown stuff) and got $20. Not too bad. I donated what they wouldn't take.

Had our newborn checkup today and she got her HepB shot (we delayed it at the hospital) and I almost cried when she started crying. But she got a cute pink camo band aid which made DH happy. Idk how I'm going to handle the 2 month shots though

@‌rachel5130 I was told by my ob when C had during this pregnancy that I was fine if I got it. However, with LO due any day now, I'd call and let them know you've been exposed. If you go into labor it may affect your care in l&d.

I. Am. Pissed. My friend and her mom were supposed to stop by around 1 (west coast). She just said they can't make it, making them the second people to cancel today. I cleaned up, showered, dressed in regular clothes, etc because people said they were coming by. I would have much rather napped and stayed in pjs.

I feel so bad. Max has such a pained cry today and there's not much I can do for him. This sucks

How annoying. I would make them reschedule whenever it was convenient for you. We had a similar situation happen. DH's step sister wanted to stop by several tomes through the last week and a half, but would never show up. Didn't call or text to say she wasn't coming. Then yesterday while we were out running errands, she showed up at our house and was pissed we weren't home. Again, didn't even call or text to let us know she WAS actually coming over. Oh well.

My ILs offered to watch DD for a few hours tomorrow so that DH and I can go on a date. My FIL has been traveling for work a lot lately and has only seen DD for about 2 hours since she's been born, so it's as much for them to spend time with her as it is for time alone for us, but I'm excited to go out for dinner and a movie.

I'm nervous to even say this, but both my kids are asleep and its only 8:00. Score for me since DD has taken to testing her boundaries the last couple days and she and SO have kept me up more than the baby with their snoring / sleep talking / generalized restlessness

Please, ute, get it together. Contractions are painful and about a minute long, they're just not consistent. How many more days am I going to have to endure this?!

It's my sister's bday and we're going to a nice dinner. I have nothing that fits so I went shopping. Never been so frustrated in my life. My belly is still big so everything that fit around that was too big in the boobs. Why did I agree to go?

My Caleb did this too! I was shocked, I think it's supposed to be a 4 month old milestone!

After two weeks of my mom being here (with the exception of 4 days), she went home today. I didn't realize how sad Id be. I cried like a baby when she left. It'll be nice to get into a routine now but it's sucks that I won't have the company and the help when H is at work.

Not sure if you can count it or not but my lo did it at his first week dr appt and several times since then when I put him on his belly. He's almost 4 weeks now and has been doing it regularly since about 2.5 weeks

DD has a new habit... After a motn feeding, she pulls off the boob and lifts her head up to lay on it like a pillow! It is seriously so cute! I bet a boob pillow would be awesome! So warm and squishy... These random thoughts coming to you at 4 am so maybe it wouldn't be that great? I'm delusional!

I'm glad you asked @emilyh107‌, we were wondering the same thing!

We didn't see the harm in going, but maybe to a spot where they are not quite as loud.

Our neighborhood sets off fireworks about four houses down from is every year. When C was two months, she slept through them from our yard. 14 months slept through them from her bedroom. We won't be home this year or I'd try to keep her up for them. I think you'll both be fine taking the babies.

DH and I are planning on taking LO to see fireworks. She will be 4 weeks. We will just sit in the car if its bothering her.

We went to fireworks this past Saturday when Olivia was 9 days old, we were pretty far away and she was nursing the whole time, and she never even flinched or startled

I fit in my pre-pregnancy pants!!!! Okay so they are a little tight and I had to dance into them but I missed jeans. Also I went for a walk with LO and my dog cabbage today it was nice just to get out.

We're currently enjoying skin on skin time. It's wonderful. I'm really hoping this helps my supply. I got less than an ounce the last pump session.
