@elsa1688 - holy shit, I got anxiety reading your post til I got to the end and you guys were ok. How scary. For the record, I probably would have told those idiots off.
@elsa1688 Slipping in flip flops holding DS is one of my biggest fears that one of our first outings was to kohls so I could get sandals that attach completely to my feet.
What websites are you guys using to share baby pics? I checked out Tweekaboo but they don't have an Android app yet and DH doesn't like that you need a password to log in because he thinks that is a pain in the ass. I don't really like shutterfly and I want to make it easy for family members that are not tech savvy.
DS1 will be spending the next few days at my parents house for "vacation" while I stay home and try to regain some sanity. now that we are putting cereal in Bennett's bottles he is able to go much longer between feedings and sleeping well which means I can spend some time bumping with my favorite ladies. I am way excited about this
I'm so hungry. C is having a hard day and I can't put him down. Anyone have suggestions on easy food I can eat one handed while holding my giant baby?
@ricecakes1216 - pb&j or other sandwich? DH has made me a few smoothies, too. Fruit. Granola bars... trail mix... Cookies... these have been my go-to's.
I ran away from dh and am staying at my parent's house with the kids tonight. He'll come join us tomorrow, which is when we were all supposed to come down anyway. I already feel more relaxed that we won't argue tonight, because its become an almost nightly occurrence. I hate that I feel the need to escape, but thankful that I have some place to go and that dh understands when I need to. Now if only he could figure out a way for me to not need to...
My little sister just called to tell me about her internship. She is helping an LC and ghost writer with a book about baby's first year of life, with an emphasis on breastfeeding. She said "so know I totally understand what you are going through!". No, no you do not. You are a 22 year old college student who parties. You have no idea what pregnancy/childbirth/ breastfeeding is like.
@lest12 I am in MA. My mom is in RI and I am currently listening to the wind pick up and the rain drift in and out. Luckily my only plans are to visit with an old friend who is home as well, and I can do that in the rain!
@yellowbird219 I would go and try to enjoy myself. I would wear the baby, let your SIL hold him if she wants and then pull a "Oh, he's just a little fussy" and not let anyone else hold him. Try and enjoy the holiday and don't overthink it. just my two cents.
Poor LO sharts like crazy and his butt is so red and tender. I've been using desitin and/a&d and its not doing much. Anyone have suggestionsn what else to try? Maybe that Earth Mama stuff?
This sounds crazy but works wonders... Ponds cold cream mixed with milk of magnesia.

We got 5 hours of uninterrupted sleep last night, and I got almost a whole oz when I pumped after LO's first feeding this morning. I am so, so happy that we are making some progress after beating myself up for the past few days over my supply issues (stupid, I know!)
@otter1103 Those faces are adorable! What is your LO sitting in in those pics? Is that a rock n play? I think we need something similar for my DD because it looks nice and snug.
I saw Elsa and krystaj talking about their wedding rings... Does anyone else's rings still not fit? Mine doesn't and I'm wondering if my fingers are now permanently bigger.
@ricecakes1216 - it bothers me too. Hopefully we are still just retaining some water In our fingers... And maybe In my stomach... And In my legs... Lol
Eta to make sense
@lest12 - I'm one month PP today and I still can't get my wedding rings on. I had to take them off around 30 weeks. I really hope I won't have to get them resized!

I tried this morning and they would not budge past the halfway point. The fake ring I bought that was getting pretty tight towards the end is now loose so I'm hoping I'm making progress.
Hopefully everyone gets their rings on soon without resizing.

This made me giggle out loud. : )
On an unrelated note, I feel like the only one still pregnant!!! Maybe I will start a thread to see who's left...
Pumping in the car sucks. Yet another reason being able to breast feed would be so much easier. We practiced a lot yesterday and C seems to be getting better but we're not ready to try on public. Ugh.
Re: *6/27 Random Awesomeness Thread*
I would have been a crying mess. I have a fear of falling while holding C. Glad you're both ok!
IF, 5 losses, 1 son, 1 on the way.

Also... maybe I'm thinking of someone else, but are you in MA too? This weather stuff is BS, I hope it doesn't ruin your plans! What a mess.
My sister sent me the recipe in a picture. There are a lot of variations on Pinterst. They are also supposed to help lactation.
You combine all the ingredients, chill for 30 minutes and then roll into balls. Store in freezer so they don't get soft.
I didn't use trail mix, I used slivered almonds. You can adjust the amounts however you want. My sister adds cinnamon.
