So my niece is 11. She just recently got a fb behind her moms back but of course her mom found out. She let her keep it but some of things she posts cracks me up. So DHS birthday was on Tuesday and a friend told hime happy birthday to the man in wisconsin, where they push cows over for fun. And this is her response. Hahaha. Her step dad raises cattle and they are farmers.

My daughter is dealing with a case of pink eye that started yesterday. Now my bil is going to the doctor to get checked out because he is coming down with it. Hopefully E doesn't get it.

On a good note my husband is off for the next 10 days. I'm sure he will be running out of the house screaming everyday for a break when I get home from work. ~X(

@dinomama13‌ I have friends who love those necklaces, but I am not convinced it's much more than placebo effect. But they are pretty cute. :-)
Ibuprofen works the best for me to help with teething.

I have not been able to keep up in the past week with J13, we drove to Nashville for a family reunion, and 12 hours in a car with an almost one year old and a 3 year old went surprisingly well! Nashville was a cool place to visit, and the kiddos got to meet lots of cousins they hadn't met before, Ian was the youngest and the star of the show. He got lots of snacks and cuddles from everyone, so it was a good time. I have a pretty awesome extended family.

My husband is driving me nuts. He is a slob, sometimes I'd rather have him working out of town then my house actually stays clean. I feel like all I do is nag at him and I don't like it. We've been together for 10 years you'd think he'd know by now what drives me mad. Or maybe I just need to let go of having a clean house? I don't know, but AF is here and I am feeling extra on edge lately.

Thanks for letting me vent.

So I can't remember when I had my period last and am kind of freaking out that I'm late. I am avoiding taking a test because I'm afraid the result might be positive. This would not be a great thing because although I would like another (I think) DH thinks he is done. Also now is not a great time for us (financially and we would prefer more space between). So yes we use protection but have 'played with fire' a few times.
summery: I am an idiot, should just take a test and stop worrying, but would really appreciate Aunt Flo vibes sent in my direction

@LadyBlue07‌ I hate the whole "balance visits" thing. It's ridiculous. My ILs are starting up that road as well. They've never met J though, we can't afford to travel but the door swings both ways! My family actually travels to come see him, why can't they do the same? We skype with them once a week so "technically" they see him more I guess. It's a pain. On another note, where in Texas are you coming to? Texas bumpie GTG!

Good morning!! Been working and on calls since about 7:15 and coming up for a little breather!

The thrush that Vinny has does not seem to be going away and we are almost out of medicine and it hasn't even been 14 days yet. I need to call and see if I can get a refill. We have our appointment at the ENT tomorrow to look at the possibility of getting tubes. I need to fill out that paper work.

I got a bunch of stuff from Amazon yesterday for his party and these boxes I ordered are way smaller than I thought they would be...now need to figure out what to do with them.

Getting through today is gonna be tough because I am working at home now then a blood draw at 11am then hopefully pick up new script and head to Maryland for an afternoon meeting and then down to Bethesda for dinner meeting and then home. I am hoping if there is little traffic and I manage my time well there will be ample time to get some work done in between meetings.

@bluelady07 That is soo annoying, My ILs do that with my SIL and BIL. It is completely annoying and my ILs are the ones that live in the same state as all of us!! Why do people have to be annoying? You don't need to keep count, this isn't a game!

It was so humid last night. Ugh. Feli woke up at 3, standing upright in her crib. Brought her to bed, where she proceeded to doze fitfully, always needing to be in some kind of (sticky) contact with me. Trying to put her in her crib was not met with success. Finally we got her down with a bottle, after which she slept on me for the rest of the night (4-7).

I am SO tired. But at the same time, that feeling of having a sleeping baby on you? *melting*

@LadyBlue07 Big hugs. I swear when we are all the dreaded ILs we won't act like that. My ILs do the same. They see Alex at least once a week. Yet I only go to my parents once every two months. MIL makes a big to do about it every freaking time. I left A for the first time ever last week with my mom. Now MIL wants to babysit for him tonight. She says its so we can go out for our anniversary by ourselves but its not. Its because I let my mom babysit and she is jealous. [-X

We've had one for a couple months now. I was really optimistic at first but now I don't really believe it does anything. I don't know, it's really hard to say. I know so many people who swear by them. But Lillie has also had so many ear infections and illness and then teething off and on, so it's really hard to say what is bothering her.

I sent out my J13 secret birthday box yesterday and I am soooo excited for them to get it!!

Also, I feel like I'm dying. I didn't feel like this at all with my first pregnancy. I have been having waves of nausea, my hormones are crazy (and emotions are all over the place), my head is killing me, and my nose is stuffed up. I just want to curl up in a ball and sleep but it's the last week of my semester and I have a ton of homework to catch up on. Meh.

@COmama1314, I can't believe your baby is almost here! I'm so excited for you!

MIL came down last night and spent the night. She asked that our nanny not come until 1:00 so that she can babysit DS this morning. I explained his typical routine to her including how he puts up a big fight for naps. She thinks we simply just need to feed him before he goes down and that he must not be tired or otherwise he'd go right to sleep. Can't wait to see how that works out for her.

) Although actually, this is going to end up sucking for me because I'll probably have to get him down to sleep myself when I should be working.
