    I'm trying to muster up the energy to clean my messy house. I'm having a hard time distinguishing whether this is the usual 1st tri exhaustion or if I'm just plain lazy/in a motivational rut from doing so much laying around the past 2 months.

    This is awful. Its like no matter how much sleep I get, I'm still tired and dragging ass! Anyone have any tips for getting back in the swing of things? I really need to move my ass and do something here.

    DS hates mustard but will use whatever I feed him as a vehicle for ranch. *sigh*

    DH was working in the yard so i cleaned while DS1 played and the baby slept. Now we are watching Frosty the Snowman (on vhs ha). Going to Costco soon because we apparently like to torture ourselves.

    We're being very lazy today. My cousin informed me that our grandparents are "failing" last night and I asked my H if we could detour to my hometown when we drive down to California to see his mom. He basically said it sounded like torture to spend the night there and he'd rather if I hitched a ride with my parents next weekend when they go to a wedding. I understand why he hates my hometown, I moved away at 17 for a reason, but I wish he'd be less of a PITA about this.

    Have you had your vitamin d checked? My doctor wanted mine at a 30 and it was only 14. He put me on 5000iui of D3, one pill a day. I can't adequately explain the energy difference since I've been taking it. It helped SO much.

    My niece in East Tx calls ranch 'white gravy' and dips evvvverything in it.

    I havent had it checked since my last physical with my primary dr (I think that was in march), bit it's always been consistently on the low side. It probably wouldn't hurt to take a vitamin d supplement.

    @JerseySprouts‌ , I was going to post that I am pretty sure ds might be a bumpie! He must have somehow known I was getting serious, because since that day he has woken up 1 (!) time! Which once again proves my theory that what I do makes no difference whatsoever, lol.

    I know this is late, but yes, you are reading that right. No ac, and it gets hot as balls in the afternoon. He only just started there last September (and the center is quite new) so we never experienced it until we had a couple warm days this spring. It was awful. I donated extra. I wouldn't be able to drop him off on hot days

    If I don't go with my parents, we'll be making the detour, whether he likes it or not. I haven't seen my grandparents in over a year. To be fair, he bitches when he has to go see his family, too, because he hates L.A as much as he hates my hometown. However, we visit his family almost every year, because we don't know how long his grandma has left.

    I think I'm losing a friend.
    I mean, she stopped talking to me because I stood up for myself.
    So I should probably recognize she's not a good friend and get over it.
    But I'm still sad.

    We went to a festival yesterday and the sheriff's office was handing out coloring books about gun safety. DH things it's bad but it's a little odd right?

    @bearsbearsbears‌ for a community safety night i would expect it. Just going to jump inbouncy houses, eat from food trucks abd play games, it seemed odd. I do agree that itis a good idea. I guess I just didn't expect it.

    They also did the child ID kits, which was nice.

    I'm upset that someone I thought was a good friend (like, I threw her baby shower) has not contacted me since a week before my son was born (we had lunch, everything seemed normal).  It fucking hurts.  I don't even want to reach out and see what's up with her because I'm so fucking hurt.
    :( That's awful. I'm sorry. I would be really hurt by that too.
