Good morning all! What's everyone up to today?

DH just made me a delicious egg white omelet. It was a pleasant surprise. On my agenda for the day is laundry, groceries, mall, and an end-of-season picnic for M's track team.

Slamming a second cup of coffee. DD was up all night coughing again.

I went to make mac and cheese and DH used the last eggs so we will have to stop on the way home from church so I can make it before the potluck tomorrow.

DH is home from work and has to swap his schedule today. He works days again starting tomorrow.

What, is everyone sleeping in today? Ds actually slept until 8:15 this morning, which was nice, I was able to shower and get dressed in peace. I am letting him watch Paw Patrol because he asked for it in the cutest voice and I couldn't say no.
Throwing him in the tub in a second, then pancake breakfast at his daycare to fundraiser for ac for those poor kids. Then Primus tonight!

What is everyone up to this fine Sunday?

I promised a coworker I'd make quinoa oatmeal raisin muffins, so I need to test my eggs for freshness (which will probably result in having to throw them out and go back to the store).

My weekends revolve around groceries. #thatadultlyfe

DH wants to go fishing, DS1 wants to go "somewhere with swings", DS2 just wants to be where DS1 is, and I'm trying to make up for the fact I'll be on a business trip from Tuesday to Friday and leaving DH alone with the boys. Unfortunately I didn't think everything through and invited my mom to join me in my hotel. She'll be checking out NOLA while I'm at a conference and then she'll want to hang out with me in the evenings. Bye bye alone time. #introvertproblems

E wanted pizza for breakfast. Since we didn't have any I improvised an egg and cheese "pizza" on a tortilla. She was not impressed. Sorry kid, I tried.

If you have ground flax or chia seeds on hand they're a great egg replacer. One T plus 2.5 T water, let sit 5 mins=one egg.

LOs slept till 8:15 woo! Up now drinking coffee, & watching finding nemo again. MIL wants to see the kids today so we will probably go over there & swim for a bit, & hopefully go out to lunch too. Other than that just laundry & house stuff. That crap is never done!!!

I haven't slept more than a couples hours at a time for the last few nights, so I threatened DH with his life to keep the kids quiet this morning and let me sleep in. It's 8:30 and they finally came downstairs. If I lay here pitiful for a few more minutes, he might make coffee. It's cloudy and gloomy outside, so DH is taking the big girls to some indoor play area today. Just me and the boy fir most of the day, yay!

My lovely E that slept in her crib for the first time two nights ago for 9 solid hours has apparently left the building. She was replaced by some banshee , albeit an adorable banshee, that screamed bloody murder the second she was out down. Around 2am my will bent and I just put her back in the RnP. I'm currently laid in bed with said banshee draped across me sound asleep and a snoring H next to me. Happy birthday to me!!

Hopefully going to brunch out by the river in a bit then getting E back in her little pool that she loved yesterday!

Logan is currently eating salt and vinegar chips.  He ate a good breakfast, and I didn't feel like fighting with him.  

My goal today is to get the house straight.  We have someone coming this week to give an estimate for cleaning, so I want to have the house in decent order.  Don't want to scare her off!

DH and I got into a big argument this morning. He apologized and we're going to breakfast. I'm still a little miffed. We have a funeral at 3 and I'm dreading it. I hate everything about funerals.

I may or may not have teared up when I read the obituary yesterday. It is my stepdads grandmother. DH and I were listed as her grandchildren and DS was listed as her great grandson. My stepdads family is more of family to me than my own family. My family is shitastic.

I survived night #1 with the foster dog and my dog.  I am so tired.  While the dogs slept peacefully all night, DS decided that he had to poop at 3:45am.  This was a 20 minute process. 

I need to got to Target and the grocery store today, hoping I can go alone.

My dc doesn't have AC. Not many people do here. You'd only really need it maybe 3 or 4 weeks of the year, and even then, good fans and ventilation make it bearable.

I made a cinnamon roll and biscuits and gravy. LO slept until almost ten. Between a descents night sleep and my shoulder feeling better, I feel better than I have in a week. I might set up LOs pool but I have to find our spigot or borrow our neighbors water for a minute. Actually I have gallon jugs i could just fill up in the kitchen, but lazy

Kids slept great last night, I'm feeling caught back up on my sleep.

We have a birthday party at 1 today. MIL is coming over later cause it's DHs birthday today.

Other than that I'll put laundry away.

This week is going to be hell, I feel it already.

I'm almost done cleaning my room, aside from the piles of laundry.  I wish I could just keep it straight on a daily basis but that never seems to happen.  

I do wish Thomas had longer episodes.  I put on the TV so L would leave me alone, but he comes and interrupts every 10 minutes for a new episode.  Annoying.  

H is out doing the grocery shopping.  I love that he will grocery shop.  He has a lot of redeeming qualities, but this is definitely at the top of the list

We went to Home Depot, went on a walk at the park, did some yard work and now DS and I are chillin while DH does more yard work. 

I really wish our GD dog didn't wake us up earlier than our kid does.

I'm going to go have lunch with grownups, that I like.  We are going to a fancy cafe and not talking about babies.  

I looked at the menu online and it's super pretentious. I'm so excited!

It's okay. Small zucchinis do not work as well as large zucchinis but it works pretty well with the larger ones.

Oh yea, I am sure its at least 2 days old, if not more. & I am also certain it wouldn't be nearly enough to feed her, myself, DH & 3 kids...

That is EXACTLY why I bought it. Also, broke college student.
Sometimes with the small zucchinis it makes more of a cole slaw texture than noodles. But still delicious.
