go snuggle and enjoy the free maid service. IMO if you come to my house and it's up to my standard and you are going to clean it further.... by all means. If you whine about cleaning my house... you are the dummy cleaning my house.
Umm. DH was supposed to pick me up from work almost an hour ago. When I call his cell it goes straight to voicemail. I came outside thinking maybe he would be waiting in the parking lot because his phone was dead but he's not here. I'm kind of freaked out and don't know who to call.

@bunnyfungo I am sorry yh is being like that. Good luck
@babycaps that sucks about yh and the self employed thing. My fil went through this before because he was self employed, it's just not fair. Good luck on the condo.
@Lakecountrygal I'd pour water over DH's head to make him wake up and quit it Maybe I'm not helpful...
@bunnyfungo Sorry about your (currently) sucky DH. Hopefully he gets his act together.
@babycaps What are you doing to get LO to sleep on his own? I've been thinking about this. Layla will only sleep if rocked or nursing and I need it to get easier. Do you just put him down when he has tired cues?
DH went to Dubai for two days earlier this week. I survived on my own...though it was only 2 days, so it doesn't really count. But he did smuggle me back a bottle of vodka for my drinking pleasure!
Working moms are freaking bad A! I've got a glimpse into what working moms must deal with on a regular basis this past week. Baby & I went back to work Tuesday, were out of town all weekend, and back to work again!
I don't think I could handle all the office work, home work & having to leave my baby with someone who isn't me! So kudos to you working Mama's! You deserve it! :x
@bunnyfungo - I hope DH came to his senses, sobered up, or whatever needed to happen there
@babycaps - that is ridiculous. Also, we're transitioning to daycare and trying to get LO to sleep unswaddled as well, torture! He hardly sleeps at daycare at all and it is no fun trying to work on it at home. I feel your pain. I also ordered two wubanubs yesterday
It must be the week of the man periods - DH and I almost Never argue and we got into it bad last night.... I went back to work this week, went two days last week as well. I was nursing while cleaning pump parts used at work when he got home, mentioned that we were going to have grilled chicken sandwiches for dinner and DH proceeded to say that sounded good, got himself a snack and sat down to watch tv. I put LO to bed and then started prepping the chicken; he could tell I was upset and after asking a couple times what was wrong I told him I didn't understand why he couldn't have started the chicken or taken over washing the parts. He got defensive and said I didn't ask, I came back with the classic 'If you see what needs to be done I shouldn't have to ask' and it went downhill from there. I don't understand how they just don't get it!
So this is what it's like being a parent. Bobs always sends me $10 in Bobs bucks. So I just went there to get myself a new top or dress or something. I walk in and there's a sign that they now have baby clothes. Just Carters stuff. I used the bucks to get her something instead. But I got a cute outfit for 50 cents.
Jolly jumpers. Yay or nay? Good for development? Ryke loves to "stand" and bend his knees so I think he will like bouncing. Bad for babies? What do we think?
We have one that goes in the door way and Colton loves it. I used one with my older boys too. It's good exercise IMO.

My mom has one at her house. My nephew is testing out everything for Isla first, and he likes it.
Just throwing this out there. I found it interesting, and now think i should get my thyroid checked...
This happened to one of my best friends and it's no joke. She lost a tremendous amount of weight and sunk into a deep depression. She is now on thyroid medication and is still struggling, her daughter is 2.5yrs old

Re: The Randomest Thread
Also we're at my mom's pool and there's dramz going on. Someone broke the grill.
Yikes I hope everything is ok
I'm glad everything is okay with your husband and that you're not still waiting...
@bunnyfungo I'm glad he picked you up. I'd be mad I was waiting.
It's normal.
@babycaps that sucks about yh and the self employed thing. My fil went through this before because he was self employed, it's just not fair. Good luck on the condo.
@babycaps That's annoying.
@bunnyfungo - I'm sorry YH was such a jerk tonight. I hope you guys get to talk it out.
@babycaps - That is so ridiculous! I'm crossing my fingers for you.

She needs a yoga mat in order to not slip around.
