I don't live anywhere near the scene, but both of my BIL's are metro officers, my FIL is a retired metro officer (as of this year), and I have several close friends that worked with the fallen officers. It definitely hits too close to home and I cannot even fathom what their families are going through. Both of them just had babies and it kills me every time I look at Harper.

ETA: It's even worse because of how it transpired. They were just eating lunch. They weren't even on a call. It's such a cowardly act to shoot a police officer, or anyone, in the back of the head.

I Asked For The Diaper And Wipes Codes But It's Not A Big Deal If Someone Else Wants Them Too.

Does Anyone Else Have A DH That Just Doesn't Get It? I Do Love DH And He'sA Great Dad But I'm Alone 19 Hours For 7 Days Due To His Job. Not Only Do I Have 2 Babies To Take Care Of But Also Myself, A Dog, And The House. He's A Little OCD And Doesn't Get Why The Bed May Not Be Made Or Why I Haven't Eaten All Day. He's Made Comments About How My School Stuff Is Downstairs In Piles. I Just Got It All From My Classroom On Friday! Oh And B Has Been Sick For The Past 2 Days. I Can Only Do So Much!! When He Got Up This Morning I Told Him The Kids Were His As I Needed A Break. Yeahhhhhh That Didn't Work Since I'm Nursing. I Decided To Take A Bath And He Was Surprised Because It's The Afternoon. Who Cares...I Need To Relax! One Of The Twins Has A Poopy Diaper And Needs A Bottle...DH Is Watching TV. I Truly Wish I Could Leave Him Alone For 19 Hours For 7 Days! Sorry....I Just Needed To Vent!

I'm sorry! I had figured if multiple people were collecting the formula coupons, it was the same thing. I'm just so close to getting the 200 shutterfly pictures, and I hadn't seen anyone ask recently, so figured I'd give it a shot.

@nblondheim I would be bullshit! I have one child, a house, and no pets. I consider it a brag day if I can get a load of laundry and a load of dishes started, not even done and put away! I would be drowning in your situation... If your H ever had to be home with all that like you do, you can be sure he would be DROWNING.

My h was like this at first, after having an argument about it when the twins were 4ish weeks old, he's learned that if he wants the house to be a certain way, he's going to have to be the one to do it. I do what I can, but, shew, moms need a break sometimes! (Especially when you're a MoM)

1. I'm so behind on this thread.

2. My back kills from trying to work one handed while holding the boy. He's still an awesome sleeper, but at the office he won't sleep anywhere but in my arms. Owwww.

3. I have almost completely given up pumping. My supply just isn't keeping up and I'm tired of stressing myself out about pumping. I have decided I'm only pumping in the morning and right before bed. Hopefully I can get him one bottle of breastmilk a day. We'll see how long that lasts . . . Today was my first day not bringing my pump bag to work with me. The NICU gave me a cooler the day he was born and it has been attached to me ever since. I feel weird not having my blue cooler.

Joe and I are sitting on the couch eating dinner and watching tv. Isla is propped on the Boppy between us. She is lifting her head like a champ so she can see the tv. I've decided the benefits of the exercise outweigh the negatives of her watching tv.

@FarmBoysWife‌ that makes total sense, and I did think about that. I just assumed that if you're gonna announce a product to be available in stores on a certain date that they would have probably stocked them over night. That way the product is available all day instead of just theist part. But then again, not every store has an overnight/early morning crew.

@nblondheim, you need to start pumping, get a stash and then disappear one afternoon. I feel your pain with EBFing twins and feeling like you can't leave them. DH is great with them but it almost seems like more hassle than it is worth to leave them with him, it's hard dealing with 2 when you aren't used to it (and when you can't whip a boob out every time they get fussy).

I feel like such a dirty lurker on the FB page, I think it is harder to keep up there then here.

We got a super nice changing table free off of Craigslist today. And we set it up in the living room, finally all of our cloth diapers are out of laundry baskets and as soon as I got it all set up and ready to go and change Colton on it for the first time he pees everywhere! Little stinker!

I only know this because DH is on the local volunteer fire department and they got paged to mutual aid (help).

I would assume they are open unless they told you otherwise (like at pickup, did they mention they would be closed ?). If be pissed if they didn't let me know as soon as they could so you could find other arrangements. Ps. Really random of me popping in the random post since I haven't been here in a while.
