    Last night was glorious! After the night before being a royal shit show- he only woke three times and the third time I brought him to bed with me and he slept for 3 more hours and then he side nursed and I fell asleep... So rested. And he's 1 month old!!!!

    Eleanor is sort of starting to nurse again. She still will only eat for a few minutes at a time, but it's less traumatic. On the other hand, I still have to pump every time she eats, and I'm really hating being a slave to the pump. I'm also concerned that stress is causing my supply to decrease. My mind cannot handle this parenting thing. It's so sad that I'm almost wishing her first year of life away just so I can be done with the breastfeeding worry :-<

    It seems that I have the comfy arms and during DS's witching hour he will only be comforted by me. DH is doing the exact same stuff as me (rocking, pacifier, walking) but cannot get him to calm down. What gives? Should DH just keep on trying so that we can both comfort him?

    @michaelad3‌ big hugs. That must be very frustrating. Hopefully she'll get back to fully nursing soon and you can put the pump away for a bit.

    Ev's eyelashes are so long! I was admiring them last night because they were almost touching her eyebrows.

    You are doing a great job! I consider it a huge accomplishment if I can get showered and the house isn't twice as messy by the end of the day. Two is hard, especially since they seem to team up and need everything at the same time, but then nap on opposite schedules. Or maybe that's just mine?

    @KendraColeslaw‌ it gets better. My issue is pooping. I haven't not made it to the bathroom yet, but when I gotta go, I gotta go NOW.

    Since the kid seems to be using me as a human pacifier today... I just watched Tom & Huck and Camp Nowhere.  Bad 90s kids' movies for the win.  Now I just need to find something with Tim Allen to watch...

    ETA you guyz... stop reminding me of the scary clown ghosts in my house that only LO can see!

    I watched Pocahontas the other day. It's crazy the improvement in animation since then.

    Alera's being admitted to the hospital with a 103 degree fever. I know I'm not really a regular around here (I don't feel like I am, anyway), but any thoughts and prayers would be appreciated. We're so scared for her right now! :((

    DS is playing the game where he sleeps soundly for 20 minutes (leading me to believe that *woohoo!* I can sleep too) and about 5 minutes after I get cozy he fusses, is easily soothed, and the process repeats.
    I knew I should have cleaned the house instead of trying to sleep.

    @macgrs our screen came back "unsatisfactory" and I had to call THEM to a) even get those results and b) schedule a rescreen. WTAF?! Oh you didn't think to call because "it was probably nothing"? Thannnks. 

    @soultermination t+p for your babe. Hoping it's resolved quickly- fevers at this age seem so scary!

    FFC: I am irrationally afraid of taking my son's rectal temperature. I have this nightmare where I puncture his bowels and he's messed up for life. Crazy, I know. But the fear is real.
