Finally finished the nursery (well I could tweak it forever, but I don't have any more energy). This room was originally DD's and then shared by DS and DD, so the color on the walls has been the same since the first baby. My favorite part is the dresser; I refinished a 16 year old oak dresser, much to DH's dismay (he is not a fan of messing with real wood). I love how it came out!
@MrsP419 beautiful nursery! Your dresser is so cute!! We also redid an old dresser and it took so much time/was a real PITA but it's my favorite part of the nursery! Go us!
I know @satrimm, it was a pain. I originally primed and painted it, and the color came out WAY brighter than it looked on the sample. I just couldn't handle it after a month of looking at, so I mixed the pink I had left with white chalk paint and kept trying until I got the color right. Normally I am not that meticulous at all, but for whatever reason, I was set on the dresser looking just so :-). And thank you!
Finally done. These pics are from a week or two ago so some if the deco stuff isn't shown and there are still little bits of junk lying around. All in all you get the gist of it. At 37 weeks I'm much to lazy to take new pics but still want to show off my hard work I think it's simple but still nice.
Still not 100% done, but I'm feeling pretty good about it. Just need to hem and hang curtains, paint & install the book shelves, and get a rug.
@amtellez28 I love it! How do you take a long picture like that?

We are pretty much done. I would like to add ledges for books eventually but I'm too lazy to think about doing it now. We also need to hang the mirror and an artwork saying. This is a nursery on a budget. The bedding, curtains and decal are all we purchased this time around. The furniture is several years old except the glider which was a gift from my parents. I actually chose the bedding based on what would match our already taupe painted walls.

Your diaper caddy by the changing table how does that work? Would I be able to use it with my changing table that has small sides to it? I wanted to get it but was not sure if it would work or not

Our nursery is pretty simple, but I love it. Just have to add one of my maternity pics of my belly with LO's shoes to the wall above her book shelf and it will be complete.
All we need now is the decal to go above the crib (letter P for Parker) and to hang a couple more pieces of art, and its all done! Nursery is themed around DH's favorite children's book Tuxedo Sam.
Finally finished our vintage aviation inspired nursery. Just need to find a rug and fix the curtains. We refinished the crib and dresser. It was a lot of work but I'm pretty happy with it.
This was my first time posting pictures from my phone. Sorry about the formatting!
@mullenem purple is my favorite color! Your nursery looks adorable, did you find the mobile on Pinterest? I'm thinking of making one to go with the Winnie the Pooh stuff in the nursery but don't have a "pattern".
All that's left is to set up the crib. My parents are bringing it down this weekend. And I still want to get a small shelf to put above the glider. Sorry all the pics are sideways, idk how to change that on mobile
Does anyone know where you can buy a good ink kit for printing baby's hands/feet at birth? I really like this one from PBK, but am thinking $3 frames from IKEA are a bit more in budget, and seems like an easy DIY project! BRU just seemed to have the indent keepsake kind. Thanks in advance for any leads!
I know nurseries are old news now with all these adorable newborns but I finally finished and wanted to share.
Pipsqueak's Peter Pan themed nursery. It's 99% complete, just waiting till after the birth to add a few gender specific items. I'm so happy with how it turned out!

I love your theme. My husband LOVES Peter Pan!!! I ordered two Peter Pan artworks for the nursery very early on, and he wants to find a quote of "To Live Will be an Awfully Big Adventure". On pinterest I saw someone had the clock tower painted on the wall - it was so lovely. Someone else had the compass on the ceiling and a crystal pirate ship chandelier. Peter Pan celebrates childhood & youthfulness so perfectly.
There's still a few things left to finalize/hang up, but the nursery is pretty much ready. And our dog decided she has a new favorite spot to hang out in the house!
Here's a couple shots of our (mostly) finished nursery! We will be adding one shelf on the wall next to the crib at some point to put her monitor and some books/kick nacks on but otherwise we are calling it done! We ended up with a woodland/forest/nature theme in shades of white, neutrals, pale pink, and mint. I had to piece it all together individually but we are so happy with the finished product.
Nursery is officially DONE. Shelf is hung, mobile is done (it drove me nuts) and hung and the crib is set up. All that's left is a baby! (I don't know why they post sideways on mobile)
Re: Nursery pics - share yours
Also, now I'm jealous of all these big rooms!!! DH and I are in a 1-bedroom, so we'll be sharing with LO until we either buy a house or move.
I guess that means I'll have less to do...?
