I like it, but it does seem a little weird to me for a nursery. We're doing a children's literature theme for the nursery and trying to figure out a quote to get embroidered on the back of the quilt we are having made for LO. DS's quilt has a Vonnegut quote about travel ("Peculiar travel suggestions are dancing lessons from God." For a travel theme nursery) and it's been challenging to agree on something that seems as good for this one.

DH and I have been sharing one vehicle since January cuz his broke. And mine (that we were sharing) was FWD and a nightmare on the hills and snow. He bought a used ford escape 2 months ago, then I put my car on Craigslist and it finally sold after a month and a half. So we were back to sharing a car (his escape) while I looked for one. We were really picky cuz we wanted to pay cash but yet have a good reliable vehicle that's AWD for winter. In the past month, I've found 2 contenders (both subaru foresters) and when we went to look at each, we were literally a couple hours late, just sold. I was starting to get panicky that I wouldn't have a vehicle by the time this little guy shows up, when I came across a rav4 on Craigslist, everything we want AND under budget. We went yesterday and it was still there. IT'S MINE AND I AM SO HAPPY! So glad to both have 2 cars again and both be AWD.

So we didn't do laundry this past weekend like we usually do. And I ran out of my pregnancy approved undies... So I'm using some that cannot accommodate the increase of booty and it feels like I'm being choked at the waist... and I still have an hour of work left :'(

I don't think it is wierd. Since there will be other sayings/lines in the nursery, it probably will not stand out.

I'd bring a treat if you feel like you want to. It's sad yes, but policies are policies. They can't change them for one person or they'd have to to do it for everyone.

I got sad this morning too because we are pulling DD out while I am on mat leave. I'm scared she will be miserable because she will miss all of her friends. She's an extremely social child and I'm afraid that Momma and little brother or sister won't cut it. Hopefully neighbor kids will be home.

There are these two little brown Thrushes building a nest in the eave of my back patio. I've named them Todd and Vi. I love them. I've been all alone in this new house for the past few weeks because of the AWESOME ARMY taking my husband away for training and other things all the time. I don't even have my cats who are still in my old location. I get to send for them soon. I only have a few things, everything else is in storage across the country. All I have are Todd and Vi building a nest for their baby birdies. It makes me extremely happy to provide a place for their new family.

I mean I'm not obsessed or anything I'm just bringing it full circle but this reminds me of the song The Hanging Tree from The Hunger Games.

My stepdad made this mistake when he joined Facebook last year. All it took was one direct message to him explaining that Facebook was the opposite of private and that everyone could see him "liking" jiggly asses and boobies. He never responded to the fb message but I'm sure he got the point.

Yesterday DH noticed that a mole on my neck (which never sees the light of day because my hair is always down) has at some point become lumpy and weird looking. Now I'm super freaked out.

I don't even know what to do. Do I ask my primary care doctor what he thinks? Do I go to a dermatologist? Do I just keep an eye on it? ;A;

I messaged my primary care doctor for a referral, I've never been to a dermatologist before.

Even though my husband noticed how weird my mole suddenly looks, he says "It's probably nothing, you're overreacting"

A change in a mole's appearance is a major red flag though, so if he noticed it it's worth getting checked. I really need to see a dermatologist soon because it's been a long time. I've had way too many sunburns in my life to not worry a little about this kind of thing.

Well, weekend with the mother in law has commenced. She's already complained about the dog hair and temperature, and her little asshole dog has fleas and SCREAMS every time she leaves the room. Wish me patience and luck. It's freaking 86 degrees at 10:20pm and baby is kicking the shit out of my kidneys. Blaaaaah.

It definitely could be absolutely nothing, because DH has had a few moles like removed that ultimately turned out to be nothing... But changes in appearance and asymmetrical borders (lumpy and weird?) are big red flags that something could be wrong and you should definitely have it checked out, and sooner rather than later. I hope it's nothing!

OK - first post in this thread after 5500, but I felt like this qualified - Carla from The Chew touched my bump last night, and I got to get a picture with her! My colleague took it so I don't have it yet, but I was so excited - she was so nice, and just as cool/beautiful in real life. She was just having a great time with everything at the event, even though she must have been exhausted.

It's definitely not the best. My son got it for his birthday, which I was pumped about. I was super disappointed. Stick with the classic princesses and in theory you should be ok. This advice is coming from a woman in a testosterone heavy home.

Car shopping sucks! Why the hell do small dealerships drive around the vehicles WE want to look at?!? There is one minivan that is 130 miles away that seems like a great deal...someone took it on vacation so they're supposed to call us on Monday O_o
Then we drove to a local place to look at something this morning (after I called the place last night) and someone had freaking driven it home! The guy there said it could arrive in 30 min. Um, no thanks you unprofessional weirdos. Then we drove to a 2nd place with a similar vehicle to the first this morning and while it was there it has too many red flags. One of the 2 DVD players doesn't work. The brake light and battery light would flash when accelerating and there was obvious water leakage from one of the windows. Frickin, freaking, frack!!!
Well, I'd been kinda snotty and rude at the first place this morning because I just couldn't believe we were dealing with a second place that was driving the vehicle around...but we decided to call again anyway, because it seems like a good deal and we need a vehicle. Had the guy bothered to come to work with it yet? No. Argh!

We were excited to see it because so many people said it was awesome (don't let the lawyer and navy pilot titles fool you.. We love animated movies ;-)). We both just suffered through the whole thing wondering if we should just stop it. We also hated that ice monster. The snowman and the reindeer were funny though ;-)

Doing everything in my power to avoid a phone call to the ob, and more likely land in l&d. The new meds aren't working anymore, and he feels low. Laying around and drowning myself, but it's not working well. Gonna give it until my next dose. This is getting ridiculous.
