Guys! So i work at a pharmacy in a ghetto area and tonight we had a CRAZY lady trying to get a ride from various family members and none of them would take her calls, even from our phone. She screamed at voicemails and raised a rucus for about a half hour before approaching my tech and asking her to call an ambulance. The tech asked what was wrong and she said she had lung problems and if she went out in the cold shed get really sick. So Keli calls 911 and asks for an ambulance, and when they ask whats wrong, tells the womans story - and adds 'but... im pretty sure shes just bat shit crazy.'
Wahhhhhh! Im so rubbing off on her I was so proud. You are all really changing lives here :-P
Btw the paramedics argued with her bc she wanted a ride to a specific hospital 40 min away. She smuggly told them they had to take her because she had chest pain. They only offered to bring her to the hospital 3 blocks away. She didnt get her way.
So I asked my younger sister to embroider Noah's name on a beanie hat for the hospital which meant I had to tell her his name and now I'm all sorts of freaked out because what if she doesn't like it!!!!
Thanks so much my babes. I just talked to alygoo and got some major tears released. She's doing very well, FTR.
@jnnfrrose6 I am sorry you're dealing with a ticking time bomb. Sounds like your DH is getting nervous about baby's arrival. Finances have a funny way about working out but they can always feel so daunting.

I know it's crazy. 8-}
Hold the press. Who wouldn't like the name Noah? Hello, The Notebook?!?! You're golden hun.

Also, it was a top 5 name in 2013 right? A large number of people LOVE it! (Including me, because my nephew who is possibly the cutest 2 year old in the world is a Noah).
And on an unrelated note, now that we are all so open about our bathroom business, a very important bucket list:
DH just stormed out and I don't know when or if he's coming back. I'm totally freaking, out and don't know what to do.
Big big big hugs! I'm sorry sweetie I know it feels scary. I don't know your history but sounds like this is far from the norm. Was there an argument? Did something set him off?

Yes there was an argument. When we fight, it's almost always the same fight and it usually revolves around him getting stressed over something or letting things just boil up inside and then it all comes out at once from him. And he usually takes it out on me. We don't fight often like this so I just don't know what to do.
@jnnfrrose6 big hugs!! DH and and I just got in a big argument and he stormed downstairs. Not fun at all, I'd be a basketcase if he left. Hopefully your hubby just needs some time to cool off...However, it's not cool that he takes it out on you. Hugs again!
Thanks ladies. I sent him a text just saying I know he's mad and I love him and when/if he comes home I won't talk to him if that's what he wants, just let me know if he's coming home. We'll see if he answers or even comes home.
He just came home. He went straight for the guest room so I'm going to let him cool off there for the night and we'll see how tomorrow goes. Hopefully we can talk it out in the morning a bit. Thanks for the support ladies. You all are awesome.
I'm sorry you had a rough night @jnnfrrose6. I have no experience with that type of situation because DH never gets mad like that, but you are definitely handling it better than I would be. Hopefully he gets his head out of his ass by tomorrow and realizes how unfair he's being to you.
@alwaysnc4me, I don't remember having any BHs with DS. I think I've had some with this baby and it's definitely a new sensation. So...all women and all pregnancies are different
@alwaysnc4me I'm so sorry to hear about your stress! Big Hugs! My H went for a drive last week over finances and all I needed was hugs! Keep in mind, someone so stressed about taking care of us isn't going to bone out. It helped me give him the 2 days he needed to calm down before we could talk about what was really going on.
I woke up at 1:30 to pee. It's now 2:30, I'm still awake & I'm hungry. Not cool. Plus DH is asleep in the guest room and I have no idea why (especially since I have all the pillows from that bed in here with me).
@BoraBoraBaby & @jnnfrrose6 I'm sending virtual hugs and glasses of wine, and sushi (if you go for that) your respective ways it's virtual, so you can have all the taboo things! I had a yuck day too and just wanted it to end yesterday. This pregnancy gig ain't easy on us.
@jnnfrrose6 - thinking about you this morning! I hope you and your DH get a chance to work things out and that he can cool it. I can't imagine that kind of stress Let us know how things go!

Huge huge belated hugs and prayers for you @jnnfrrose6 DH and I have had one fight like that in our almost five years of marriage. It was a really hard day. I really hope you were able to talk about it a bit this morning.
Thanks everyone for all the support. DH and I weren't able to really talk this morning, but he had at least calmed down. DS always makes him smile, too, so I made sure he got some loving from him this morning.
We've texted a bit since I had to go into work (he had to stay home to meet the exterminator). He says he's gotten over last night, he's just feeling some stuff that he needs to work out (not about us/our relationship). Hopefully he can talk to me more calmly tonight or this weekend.
@Jessa8907, I've never thought about it that way but you are so right!! Hahaha
On a kangaroo related note, I have a friend named Joey, and she said her mom named her that because while she was in utero she kicked a lot, including one time she kicked so hard she broke one of her mom's ribs
So question for all of my RT (random thread) ladies.
I'm planning on do a few printables for this LO's nursery. I'd like for them to quotes from various books, plays, poems etc. One I have picked is "May the odds be ever in your favor." Standing alone this sounds to me sweet like something similar to "May the wind be always at your back!" However, in context it's more like teenagers beating each other to death or otherwise causing brutal bloody endings.
Soooo, is it weird for me to put it in my child's nursery?

Well, knowing the association, I kind of think it's weird to put it in a child's nursery, but if you like it, go for it. It's not going to scar your LO at all.
See I wonder if knowing the association it'd be weird. Like, if I'd never read the Hunger Games etc it would sound like a lovely blessing, but having read them I know that it means "Hopefully you are the last one left alive!"
I guess I'm wondering if everyone agrees with me. I would really like to talk myself into it, but I don't know if I can!

I'm thinking about doing something similar with HP quotes and a Neil Degrasse Tyson quote.
I can see why it would be weird but I kind of also love it. It's not like you are entering him INTO the Hunger Games. I just would steer clear of a Hunger Games themed nursery haha
