Since I'm Not having contractions the placenta is not in a good spot so may not be able to do cvs. We looked at baby and oh she's so precious. I really think it's a girl. She was stretching her legs. The hygroma is big. Very big. From the top of the head down to the butt. Plus her abdomen is swollen with fluid. Edema. Hygromas this large don't end well. The increase fluids on body, lungs and heart can eventually cause the baby to pass. I'm waiting to see if the contractions -Braxton hicks to me, push the placenta up. Also no hydrops.

That's a little disappointing. But at least you got to see her are you still there, waiting to see if you get some Braxton hicks?
@lisaren no hydrops is a really good sign!!!! Lots of hygromas can self resolve with no hydrops. If they can't do cvs is there something else they can do to test for what they need to?

I am so so sorry you are dealing with this. I really hope and will pray with every bit of my heart that something good will be coming your way and that somehow you will find some peace in everything going on in your life. With all of the support you have offered others, you certainly deserve it. I have been and will continue to keep you in my prayers. I only wish I could do more.

The first thing I did this morning when I woke up was look for an update from you Lisa (I'm west coast). Sorry to read about your nightmare. Praying things work out for further testing and more clarity. How is your H doing? Glad you could see your baby better today!
Could not do cvs. The fluid is all around baby, like a halo, under the chin, and seeping in abdomen. It's like the baby is wearing a spacesuit. The outcome will Not be good. The baby's belly is already swollen. The MFM Dr has been amazing as well as my midwife.Tomorrow is Emma Claire's birthday so we will celebrate this with smiles. With seeing this big of a cystic hygroma in this gestation of pregnancy, the baby will develop hydrops and/or pass before birth, the inevitable will happen. At this point waiting for this seems cruel and unfair to the sweet baby. Nothing seems to make much sense. I'm hoping the decisions we've made and continue to make will be the right ones and we can find peace within.
I love all of you to the moon and back. I will check in from time to time. I will not be ttc again, so I will stop by to just peek here. I know this place is full of snark and honesty but I hope my rainbows and cupcakes brought some smiles to the board. What each of you are going through, and will experience, is magical. Remember every single second. Take the small shit in stride. The nursery the baby showers, the small shit... Just love the moment. You are all so blessed to have this little being coming into your life. They are lucky to have you.
I know some are freaked out about Fb, but if you wanted to add me I'm ok with that. I'm Not crazy, or a stalker. But I understand that many are.
