Hello goodbye guys. DS has been cluster feeding for days, that coupled with a slight tongue tie has me not exactly a functional human ATM so the board is pretty much a no go.
Still this face makes it all worth it.

I pumped yesterday so DH could give her a bottle and I could sleep. I told him he should take the 6 feeding. She wakes at 5 and he says well it's not 6 so I shouldn't get up. Yes, because I have a crystal ball and know exactly when she'll be up. 5 is pretty close jerk...here I am. Up nursing while he's asleep. :-w

I had nightmares really bad for at least the first week pp. One night I dreamed my room was pitch black and LO was crying and I couldn't find him. I cried and cried when I woke up.

I had nightmares my first night home. I dreamt of babies falling flat on their faces. Woke me right out of my sleep

Thanks everybody. I know once we get to FL with all my family it will be easier. It's just heartbreaking to see him say goodbye. I don't know how he does it, I couldn't handle being away from our boys.

I'm going to have to cut baby off soon

I am starving!

Fed at 5, 7,8,9,10.... Basically just rotating back and forth with two diaper change breaks and a bathroom break for me.

I am glad she's clustering now I guess verses when I'm trying to sleep.

DH bought me a bunch of snacks that are easy to eat one handed because I wasn't feeding myself for that exact reason. I hope she gives you a break soon.

Awesome! My MIL came for a couple days and I didn't want her to leave. I ate better than I have in a long time. Also, she is a Baby Whisperer. I hope you get lots of yummy food, too.

I love that my bf is trying to be helpful on his day off but he doesn't even realize that his "help" is doing more harm than good. Just because the baby nursed only a half hour ago does not mean he's not hungry. He ends up crying longer than he needs to because his annoying aaa father is insisting he can't be hungry and by the time he finally realizes and accepts that the child is in fact hungry his tummy is full of air. FUCK!!!! Now the child isn't only crying from hunger but from gas too

He does know about hunger cues and he knows Dylan's but I feel like he's being stubborn on purpose. Today Dylan hasn't really been doing them but he is still hungry. I end up having to demand the baby in the bitchiest possible way for him to stop his bullshit

My mother was zero help last week actually. But this is her first grandchild so I don't think she knew what to do. My mil has had four grandkids in 4 years so I know she'll be more helpful. Plus my mom can't cook....

I had DH hold baby and play the offspring while I ate a bowl if cereal. It worked for a bit but she still cried

poor baby. I'll have to pick up more one handed snacks tomorrow.

She's still going back and forth.... Suprised I have any milk left!

On the plus side we're getting much better at latching!

@deidremaria‌ id be pissed if DH let the baby cry because he shouldn't be hungry. Babies don't manipulate you.

My bf is the same way, he tries shoving a pacifier in her mouth whenever she cries rather than checking her diaper or handing her to me to eat. And he thinks he's doing me a favor by giving her a pacifier and delaying her eating. Men.

Think I can get away with a birth announcement that also says "Oh hey y'all- since I came so early my Mama has no time to brush her teeth let alone send personalized thank you notes!!! So these books should just say that growth spurts happen every single week for the first month or two. At least that would have prepared me for 2-3 of hell followed by 4-5 normal days before the cycle starts all over. He is currently passed out on his Boppy making growling noises and scrunching up his feet repeatedly. I'd move him, but I'm afraid to wake the beast...

Men are FUCKTARDS. Don't get me wrong, he at least checks to see if he's wet and stuff but he seems to think that if he just nursed and is crying 15 minutes later that we should rule out hunger. Umm cluster feeding you fuck!!! We totally just had our first real fight over the baby because he legit tried to let my son just cry in the bassinet because all of his needs are met and he must be tired! FUCK YOU dude. I am not about to listen to my 2 week old cry. Cuddling is a need! That's what I get for being with someone that much older than me. Oh well. You can't control who you fall in love with.

I figure if you have an entire YEAR to do wedding thank yous, you deserve at least that long with baby thank yous

That said, I try to get mine out within a week or two of the gift. But I don't do more than one or two at a time. Ain't nobody got time to write dozens of thank yous at once! I do mine while I'm pumping since I have a hands free bra. Also, I wrote them "from James" so I had a free pass to write 2-3 sentences instead of a huge gushy thank you from me. They were way more fun than my wedding thank yous, so that helped pass the time as well!

Thanks, girl. It is. Luckily I'm strong enough and love this kid enough to tell his dad to kiss my ass as I pick baby up and try to soothe him.

I didn't think I'd have to do that but I feel like I'm gonna have to press the issue and insist that he reads up on everything that I have. He's 50 and has raised 5 other children so I feel like he doesn't take me seriously when I try to tell him what's ok and what isn't. Maybe try wearing the baby? That's what I do with Evie when she's refusing to lie down by herself and I need to get shit done. Works like a charm!
