@ugabamafans I got it at Hobby Lobby. It was one thing I saw on Pinterest that I had the hardest time finding! Hobby Lobby had a bunch of them: different shapes, sizes, and colors (but no navy blue, so DH had to paint it for me). I used a 40% off coupon that they always have online so it wasn't even too expensive!
@MrsRahl I know what you mean about Chevron! I love it, too, but there seems to be a lot of it going around! However, I remember the big thing when I was a young girl was Precious Moments... I LOVED my room as a 5 year old... now when I see pictures, it's so ruffly and frilly and pastel, ugh! I'm sure someday my kid will say "What were you thinking?" just like I did to my mom!
Burgie84 - Your nursery is awesome! We're also having twins in a small space (10x10 nursery) and you've really done a great job making it all work! It looks great!
I finally have some pics to show! YAHOO!! Not completely finished, but the majority of it is finished, and it's now a functional room, which is more than it was a few weeks ago! "Theme" is vintage football/Univ. of KY. I wasn't keen on either (football or UK) but it meant a lot to hubby to have some of his college football gear in DS's room, so we compromised. He typically DOES NOT CARE about anything baby decor related, so I tried to find a happy medium this time. I am pleased with how it turned out. @mrsgerman hope you enjoy my pic
@ugabamafans thanks! We hung plain white curtains last night, and gonna hang hubby's framed jersey behind glider...and then it'll be complete. And then baby won't sleep in there for freakin ever because he will be in with us for a long while...LOL. So really the nursery is for my own personal enjoyment But I SO enjoy decorating kids' rooms. And planning bday parties. And generally doing ANYTHING to avoid boring housework...heheheh...
I posted a while ago but we've made some awesome 'outta this world' sci fi updates. Just gotta hang the r2d2 / C3PO curtains and put the final touches on. ;-)
@babygabe614 actually my husband drew that in pencil on the wall and then we painted it in! Wall decals probs would've been much easier though...I know nothing about them.
@taymiller I guess I would just suggest using very small paint brushes and lots of patience! I am not a painter by any means and I just used the smallest paint brush I could get and did many coats. Sorry I can't be of more help....good luck!!
Thanks @jesnyc we are really happy with it! I found a picture online and my husband gridded the picture and then gridded the wall to scale. He's a pretty good drawer!

I'm pretty excited... I have been looking for a decently priced rocker or glider (didn't want to spend over $350)... Well I think I scored one heck of a deal... Decided to creep on craigslist and got this very comfy rocker for only $75!! It's basically new, an old retired couple had it in their formal living room and are getting a new living room set. Score!! (And it matches the room beautifully!)
We are getting there, the walls are painted but we still need to paint to trees, I love the bedding that hubby's aunt made and with all our shower gifts it is starting to really look like a baby's room!
and yes I just realized that the sign on his crib should say Murphy but is totally missing the r, oops!
Lighting is bad but finally done! (Minus decorations which we are waiting on beings we are team green!) We live in a very little cape cod, so we had to get creative with space. Luckily we have this awesome built in wall dresser
It's still a work in progress. Sheets are washed, just need to do the waterproof mattress covers and I still need to find a bed skirt that I like. We need a book shelf for the giant stack of books we got at the shower, and still need to decorate the walls. We are team green so as the little one grows we will add pink/coral accents or navy blue accents to the aqua and grey I love the rocking chair. My grandmother gave it to us. It's over 100 years old and used to sit in her aunt's (or grandma's I don't remember whom right now) old farm house. I will update as more gets done ,but my temporary bed rest is putting a damper on things.

@MarciP83 I am OBSESSED with your nursery! If this LO was a boy, we were doing a UK theme...we're die hard
We are officially done panting! Unfortunetly the layout I wanted didn't work with our furniture and amount of room space but all in all it works. We are working with such a small room:/ still need to finish wall decor along with blinds and curtains. Also hoping to get a few things at our shower.
Finally started!! Nothing like starting a nursery at 34+ weeks... Glider ordered today and going this weekend to get diaper pal, changing pad, a rug and hopefully some more items to decorate the walls with. It's not much, but it's a start!
I'm envious ladies. You are all doing such a great job. I'm up in L&D and don't have a completed nursery. She has a place to sleep. Guess that's all we need right now. Plus we move in about a month so we held off of even the crib crib until then. Love all your ideas though.
Oh I guess my baby does have a full on nursery at grandmas house. It is complete with a bed for me and SO... You know, just in case grandma says. I truly think she is under the impression that my baby will live with her.
Everyone says just let her do it. She had me at 18 and never got to do this. I'm happy she is excited truly I am. Just wish I could be doing it for her now.
I guess my job is to ... Just keep cooking, just keep cooking!!
So... need some help. I got Benjamin's name all hung up... I go into the nursery a couple days later and half of the letters fell down...
The letters are wood, maybe 4.5" or 5" tall, don't weigh very much at all. I had read somewhere to use command strips... which we did. I had about 4 strips per letter. Didn't stick.
What have you all been using?
I'm trying to avoid having to use nails, but if I have to it's what I'll do.
@kaceymarie I looked at the package and looks like I grabbed small strips... I will try bigger ones
@mullenem I will try cleaning the wall like you suggested, and then if that still doesn't work then I'll take @krystaj 's advice and try roughing up the wall
Thanks for the help!! I was quite surprised myself to find half the letters missing... I've never had a problem with command strips on anything else before.

It looks so good! Love the angled furniture
