Moarrr outside babehs!!! Good luck to those of you who are laboring/waiting! I'm way excited for all of these RTT babes to arrive!

LO is three weeks old today and we've arrived in cluster-feeding land. Oh my nipples. I just stuffed bags of frozen peas/corn into my bra.

In happier news, our neighborhood has a "meal train" where people sign up to bring you dinner. Last night, some evil genius brought a taco ring- basically taco seasoned ground meat in those pillsbury crescent roll things. With all of the taco toppings. And a chocolate cake on the side. I'm currently shoving cold leftovers in my face while LO pillages the boob for the 9th time since 7am.

Quick mom rant:

I'm so sick of her thinking I'm just 1 million percent fucking miserable and unhappy with every aspect of life because I'm past my due date. She makes me anxious and feel shitty every time she's like, "Oh you poor thing," "You must be miserable," "Ohhhh sweeety, how bad is it for you today?" This is a daily occurrence, multiple times a day and has been since about 38 weeks.

The thing is...I'm actually doing really well emotionally and physically and understand that baby just needs more time and that's cool. I know I have my induction date set for the 27th and while I really, really, REALLY don't want it to come to that (Everything in my pregnancy has been med-free and natural so far), I also get that we'll need to get baby out and that's okay.

So while that's going on...she's ALSO hoping that I HAVE to be induced so that they can time their arrival for the induction. So it's like, she feels bad that I'm 'just miserable' but wants me to be 'that way' for 10 more days just for her convenience? WTF?

Ugh mothers. Thanks for the daily vent.

Tried a new nail polish that is supposed to work like gel. I read it on multiple blogs, damn stuff chipped on day 2 which I guess is better than my normal first day chipping. So irritating, I wish I could find something that works at home. Hate having to go to the nail place to get polish. Not at all baby related but i did try the stuff out while on maternity leave!

@ColleenSwerb. It's the worst! And I can't NOT respond to her because then she thinks we're in labor and that we didn't tell her.

Hubster has already said he has no problem going on "Mom Duty" a/k/a getting real with the moms to tell them to back the eff off. His MIL is with us now and I have no problem with her because she gives us space, makes us awesome meals, gives me good support and only pushes me to go on walks (which is fine since it's 75 degrees out and nobody should be cooped up on this beautiful of a day). I don't think I'll need him to go "Mom Duty" on her, but I'm thinking of calling in that maneuver to be pulled on my mom.

I've also stopped all social media updates altogether.

So that baby I thought I heard crying... Turns out its a woman in labor. Her sounds went from the sound of a newborns cry to straight up screaming. These walls needa be sound proofed.

I just ate lunch while wearing George. I thought my pregnant belly caught a lot of crumbs, my poor son's head is even worse! Tonight will be a bath night..and maybe throw a blanket over him while eating next time?

So tomorrow is officially my last day at work, and only a half day. I am so ready to be done! My coworkers took me out to lunch yesterday and got me some baby outfits, a security blanket, and a package of A&A muslin swaddles. Feeling very lucky today.

Thanks for those of you who asked about me! No updates today as my MW won't check again until tomorrow evening. Scheduled the biophysical profile (including NST) for tomorrow at 4:30 so DH can come. Hoping to go into labor before that so I don't have to go in.

Cervix is sore today, but I'm not sure if that was from the sweep or if it's doing something on its own.

If he would just sleep somewhere other than my chest, we wouldn't have this problem. It makes me feel he will also love being worn. I'm glad I bought a variety of devices. But I'm also thinking the moby won't be my first choice; mostly because I think it will be too hot in the summer here in FL. I'm going to try the k'tan breeze first.

Our summers are crazy hot (not humid though thankfully!) and I got a very thin woven wrap. Might be another option too!!

Same here, I wasn't screaming, per say but I'm sure my closest neighbor could hear me while pushing.

Apparently I made no noise whatsoever with either of mine, but I didn't feel any pain. The woman in the next room was screaming like she was being sawed in half and she had an epidural. The nurses were rolling their eyes because she had been at it for hours and wasn't even at the pushing stage yet!

@Serenla I did update date but I'm sure its pages back now. Logan is doing great, I guess he just decided to give us a bit of a scare. His bili levels dropped from 19.8 to 16 in 12 hours all on their own and he also gained back the 2 oz that he lost over night. We met with the lactation consultant yesterday and she got his latch corrected and gave me some exercises to do with him to help strengthen his jaw and tongue and keep his clipped tongue tie open. We also got the ok to feed on demand. Thanks for asking!

AFM I had the worst sleep last night. DH decided to wake me up at 1am to marinade my cervix, then I couldn't get back to sleep. I feel like it was the longest night ever... And worst of all I don't think it did anything.

DH started freaking out last night about all the school work he has due within these next few weeks and upcoming finals. He's decided baby should wait to come until May 9th. I'm semi okay with that idea, but it's truly out of our control. I hope he can manage his stress because he's starting to stress me out!

My DS is the same way. It is like he gets up on the wrong side of the bed after every nap! If I snuggle with him on the couch for about 30 minutes he is OK, but I'm not sure how that will work when baby is here.

He also loves SuperWhy.

My MIL does this. She turns every neutral statement I make into a negative one by responding with things like "it's ok", "it's the best you can do", "no need to worry about that". Um I know and I'm not. I never expressed it wasn't ok, I was worried, or any negative feelings about the information I just conveyed. Stop making assumptions and responding like you're Little Miss Sunshine and I'm Debbie Downer. It's so fucking annoying.

We go through the same thing. Watching a show or two and having a snack after nap makes him way less cranky or crazy town (depending on the day).

I just saw the most horrifying picture of me with basically no neck. This is not a weight complaint, because it doesn't have to do with weight gain, it's just that inevitable 9th month of pregnancy chin puff face that it seems most women regardless of how little or how much they gained during pregnancy.

Finally stopping by to introduce Owen Reid - 9lbs and 21.25in, born Tuesday morning less than 2 hours after arriving at the hospital. Supposedly bad heartburn = lots of hair. Definitely rings true for us.

Our little boy was born at 12:19 pm after 12 hours of labour and 40 minutes of pushing. It was hard, I got a 2nd degree tear but I'm over the moon now! 7 lbs, 10 oz and 20 1/4" long! We have to decide between two names now. Already home 4 hours after giving birth and feeling great! Will update once we pick a name.
