Gah! Stuck in an old qoute box.

Anyway, saw the LC this morning and she was amazing! Rechecked Logan's tongue tie and there is a very small chance that we will have to clip it a little more. I have to do some exercises with his mouth and stretch his tongue tie to help strengthen his jaw movements since he wasn't able to while in the womb. He also gained back the 2 oz that he lost. I was supplementing yesterday with pumped milk to help. Now we have been released to feed on demand, I'm so relieved!

Now that DD is starting to be awake more during the day, I realize I have no idea what to do with her besides cuddle. Just talk to her?

Yes!! G has kept 2 feeding a down so far. He isn't happy about only 5 min feeds, but he's keeping it all down

Aaarrrrgggggggg. I had to see a different Dr today and she wouldn't strip my damn membranes because I'm only 2 (but a loose 2 she says) centimeters and 50% effaced. I have to come in on Monday to see if my trap door is open enough for my induction on Tuesday! If I had seen my regular OB, he would have just stripped that shit and scheduled the damn induction! So frustrating!! So I went to PF Changs and then got all the 4moms things I can afford so I have stuff to play with in the meantime. But OMG the cramps, Grrrrr.

Normally we host something and I make a huge brunch/go to church..but this year I am thinking we are gonna sit around and eat deviled eggs and ham sandwiches watching a movie.... or maybe if lucky, be in the hospital having a 4/20 baby!

My inlaw's are taking us out to lunch. Milreally wanted to see us again before baby.

I kinda just want to sleep in and do nothing...but it should be nice

What????? I'm at a 0 with 60-70% and I got mine stripped yesterday. Not that it did a damn thing...

That's exactly why I don't mind having an Easter baby! Since it changes every year it's not like Christmas, valentines, etc! It's just another day in the month.

Exactly. But you're overdue though, your membranes deserved to be stripped. I'm not actually due till next week. They keep mindfucking me because they don't want me to go past my due date either...

Hi Ladies! Just dropping by to say hello! We just got home from the hospital and Amelia Rose is sleeping like a champ in her swing! We are having latch issues so I am about to wake her to feed. First time on my own so wish us luck! Other than the bfing thing she is perfect!
Congrats to all Mama's who delivered that I might have missed and HUGE hugs to all of you with inside babies! They get here how and when they are supposed to and it is ALL so worth it!

thanks guys. 40+4 - I feel like I have now earned the right to complain. The weather here is ghastly, wet and windy. There is nothing here to do - we live 40 minutes from the nearest shopping area - and I am BORED. My mum wants to do a day trip to town, but I just don't have the energy or inclination to drive 40 minutes to wander around a couple of shops to drive 40 mins back. I just want my baby to play with! I was arrogant enough to think that I probably wouldn't go this far overdue. I don't want to be induced, but Monday can't come soon enough.

@megla‌ there was wifi in both of my hospitals l&d. It was annoying because you had to agree to their terms every time you surfed but it was better then nothing so I could use my iPad.

Newborn pics part 1 today (we recd one package as a gift and the one today was with a new photographer trying to practice and build her portfolio) I'm in awe of this little man and his smile

I'm 7 days PP and my stitches are gone so I've ditched the peri bottle. Its actually been a few days since I've used it, I'm still pretty gentle when I wipe though.

@avidkeo, I'm sorry you're bored. I'm contemplating making this Friday my last day, regardless of if I go into labor, but I don't want to get bored before the baby arrives. If I wait until I deliver, I'll get a few extra days with LO, but I am so bored at work right now I can hardly stand it. I'm thinking that if I were at home, I could at least walk a lot to try and get things going.

@mrscrcalli‌ Most of my soreness is gone and I felt down there while in the shower last night and everything thing feels pretty much back to normal.

Poops are fine for me. Little uncomfortable because of the lovely hemi I have.

With your tear, you'll probably be feeling pain and discomfort for a while

My first tore me up and I had varying levels of pain for the first month PP.

@mrscrcalli‌ I had to be cut and ended up with 21 stitches. I'm still taking the pain meds 8 days later but it's 1000 times better. The pain was so bad on day 5 I had to have my ob check to make sure I hadn't lost a stitch or something.

@thomas930‌ no way in hell would I be feeling down there to check to see if they are gone. I'm too chicken to!

Also I squirt but when I dab dry I feel like that makes me bleed more. Also I feel like I'm still swollen, which my dr said was ok till 14 days pp so I have a little time before I really start getting paranoid.

Also, just because the bottle says taking two softeners is ok does not make it a good idea. Now I have the opposite problem I had this morning...

Thank you hun! Tough decision... I was getting pretty bored at work at times as well ask you know, so much better being bored at home because at least you can slouch and stuff. And with your track record.... Haha!
