@ballerina10 It starts on page 3. Basically anything and everything I saw regarding dressing like a prostitute is getting blown WAY WAY out of proportion.

I joined TB late and didn't start posting till after LO was born. My first post was a desperate "help me, I have no idea what to do, I'm a FTM" post and I got jumped on by a few regs to "go feed my baby." WTF? I felt like some people were circling the waters waiting for some newb to jump in so they could attack. But in this thread, I can make comments and ask questions, and shocker - people actually reply back and are real. I love it. Post on, I say....

I like a catch all thread. This one is impossible to keep up with. I like the idea of a daily thread vs the never ending one. I think that you are definitely more understood after this thread....you joined and posted novels right off the bat (I talk a lot too IRL) I now understand why you're sunshine and rainbows from this thread but....I would rather know what you're really thinking versus always trying to be liked. I like you more after reading your opinion above!

If you knew me in real life, you would know that I don't give a rats ass who likes or don't like me. I am who I am, Take me or leave me. I came in here and I tried to be a participating member back in Oct but I was "late to the game" or something and I didn't even post the first day I signed up. I lurked for a good week or two. I figured the best way to jump in was just that to jump in get my feet wet and I wasn't going to short stick myself and act like someone I am not. I talk a lot, I type A LOT but I feel like I didn't get received well here on this board for whatever reason.

My feelings are my feelings and I don't have to post them for the whole bump to see. I am extremely sad today over this whole situation. I really could almost just cry right now for real.

This is a bad day on TB!!!!!

@Risalyn222‌ this thread is not offensive. It was a fun thread that a lot of people enjoyed in the beginning. It's also awesome that the few of you that kept it going have made a connection. But multiple people felt that even though they also had random questions and wanted to participate in a catch all type thread they weren't going to do it here since they felt they wouldn't be able to keep up. They probably also weren't posting on the board since this was the self designated place to post randoms. Wanting to close it is not a personal thing at all.

Seriously look at the Friday Spam thread and there's already tons more people participating there than here. That's honestly the only purpose.

I think that my LO was maybe a week old and my DH had to go out of town for drill, so I was home alone with the baby. He freaked out and wouldn't stop crying because of really bad gas. He kept wanting to nurse which made the gas even worse. After about 4 hours of him screaming and nursing, I asked if anyone had any ideas b/c I was not sure what I was doing. After a few of the answers I got, I swore to DH I wouldn't come back to TB because it wasn't helpful. But here I am, so oh well. In the end, it wasn't that big of a deal, but it definitely made me wary of certain posters and made me think twice before commenting on anything.

I have to agree. The SB thread was great when I wasn't working but now it's impossible to keep up I feel like. No offense to any SAHMs but ladies that work can't follow it anymore. Plus since the convo is always changing no problems with starting each day fresh. I liked this thread, it's like a chat room, but it really is hard to keep up!!!
I totally see where you ladies are coming from and don't disagree. I guess I feel like I found my little snow and will be sad to see it go. But I'm starting to see it might tear our group apart.

There are lots of things tearing the group apart, I think. Even more so than this thread.

@julie08williams - It's easiest to do from the browser of the iphone.

1. Search and find the gif you want.

2. Press and hold on the image until the little menu comes up.

3. Click on "Copy".

4. Paste the info into a new tab of your browser, it should come up as https://www.awesomegif.com/001.gif. Or something similar.

5. To insert the image, you use basic HTML. Use this code without the spaces between the < >:

I'm a SAHM and I can't keep up. My kids keep me busy since I don't ignore them all day.

I agree with what @reenielynn posted earlier. The few people that are keeping this going, even after reaching a compromise, are kind of being assholes. You're deliberately pissing people off. You feel like you've made a connection to people? Great. Start a social group or something.

I don't have a toddler, I have a 12 and 8 yr old who are in school all day, I have a 3.5 month old who sleeps like ALL day. My husband mostly works from home and my house because I have insomnia is mostly kept clean during the night while everyone is sleeping. I also bump on the go a lot. Not that I need to explain my bumping habits to anyone.

I'm hoping she's enjoying some family time and not worried about this.
