so sorry you are going through this. I know I was a wreck when DH had surgery two years ago, I can't imagine having LO in that mix.

@chicagochic‌82 - wow, that really sucks! My DH had double Achilles surgery in '08 and it was quite stressful without a baby. A few friends ended up just showing up to help unexpectedly. I hope that happens to you. Are you sure there's nobody else you can ask to help? Don't be afraid to ask people that you may not feel super close to. You will be surprised who will be willing to go out of their way just because they want to help. Maybe someone at your DH's job or an acquaintance. Or maybe your SIL can refer a babysitter.

*knocks on wood* I didn't have to fight Grayson to get him to sleep tonight. I don't know if it's because he took a late-ish nap on the drive home this evening or that he stayed up later than usual but I'll take it. I was beginning to dread bedtime because of the fighting

clearly the person who is running it DID NOT consider the FEELINGS of the people that go. ALL of these babies are going to be so UPSET over this. She should have thought THIS through before she went and got the flu. How immoral of her, we have feelings TOO and she really did NOT consider how others would BE inconvenienced by HER flu.

Our little trip up north has destroyed my sweet baby. After constant attention and being held for pretty much all sleeping, he refuses to let any of that trend go. We are on day 3 of not sleeping, or napping really, and wanting to be attached to me constantly. I cried this morning because I couldn't get my new coffee open. #firstworldproblems I'm effing exhausted

@subliminalrabbit I do wear him sometimes. But, only for so long. It's like, there's only so much I can do with him strapped to the front because of little hands. And, I can only keep him strapped to my back for so long before I want to sit down and actually lean back. I still do it for stretches of time, but I can't do it all day. Which is I'm sure what he'd like.

Wonderful news @nix55 how exciting to get another little girl!!! Glad your feeling good as well. I'm doing good, this new pregnancy is already kicking my ass though! Ugh morning sickness, stuffy nose, head aches, sore abs and a sore throat. I try and grin and bear it though because I find comfort in having symptoms this time, last time i really had none.

@mommycoffee My DH doesn't bring up this stuff, I don't think he knows how to approach it and doesn't want me to get upset. When I bring it up, he doesn't really venture far into the conversation, so I have to remind him what I like to talk about and when it's a good time to discuss things. I'm not sure if this is the case with your DH, but mine doesn't like to see me emotional, or get too emotional himself.

Multiple life-threatening stabbings at a high school right by my ILs. It lasted for 20 min as the student went room to room stabbing people. 20 minutes!!!!!! Thoughts and prayers for everyone involved and their families!

My first thought was because of the cost of daycare. I know that's why I chose to stay home, I would have been working to pay for daycare while I was at work and only being able to bring home less that 50 a week.

My husband is on afternoon shift and it turns him into a bad husband and father. I am tired and trying to recover from being sick and I need to get my taxes done but I just can't get it together for that.

Sorry for the vent but this was the best place I could think to do it! AAARG!

FTM question here: Ty is kind of iffy on his afternoon bottle. Lately he either isn't taking it or only drinking 5 of the 8 oz. I feel like he's a little young to be going to only 3 bottles/day (he will be 10 mos on the 18th)

What do you guys think? Just go with the flow for another month or start the transition to 3 bottles?

It'd be a total of 24oz of formula a day. I'm thinking if I go for it, the transition to WCM will be a lot easier too
