Thanks guys. I'll definitely write a letter to the doctor. I didn't find out why I'd been waiting for 45 mins until after we had our appointment so I couldn't say anything then. I was in such a rush to leave because I needed to get to work that I didn't have time to process everything that had just happened until I was in the car, and that's when I started to get really angry.

The nurse generally seems like a good guy so I think we would have been fine with him either way, but I'm pretty sure the admin told him everything was cleared up with the payment before he actually took us back to the exam room so who knows.

But, really - thanks for reading my very long story. >:D<

Why won't he just sleep?!? Up 3 times already. Nursed him the second time. He just won't go back in his crib. I haven't slept at all yet and h is gone all weekend. I hate nights like this.

Dammit! I am up early and checking work emails (viva la France!) and I've been misspelling a customer name for 2 weeks now...ugh I have to rename all my files prior to today's submission and edit all my content.

Fun times. Both of my boys have colds. Ds1 puked all over my bed last night as he choked on post nasal drip. Both of them were up most of the night. Today is going to be lots of fun.

@kdc2007‌ update on the dogs: the only thing we changed was going outside with them and they are like brand new dogs! They have almost stopped all barking and have been so sweet. I'm so glad they are happy again and feel shitty that we weren't giving them the little attention they wanted/needed. Thanks so much!

Wow. I will not be as kind as @nursemommy13. What a huge overreaction!

Your description makes it sound like he could just have bels palsy (a completely physical illness that my Rabbi just got over and a former Prime Minister had, I don't think they were "mental unstable"). Even if this person did have a mental illness how ridiculous of you to assume you would need to use pepper spray!!! For the most part people like that are extremely kind and gentle to children. Obviously you want to be cautious, but pulling out pepper spray and a taser! That is insane! It's a good thing you don't live in my area because there are two great centres for "mentally unstable" young adults near by and I see the groups all the time.

While I agree that it seems like an over reaction, I also understand that feeling in your gut when something about a situation just isn't right, and that can be really scary.

My Uncle is disabled and is non communicative. He grabs at people all of the time if they have food, because he wants it and often his caregivers aren't quick enough to get him. I think you should probably do some reading or start spending more time around people whom have disabilities. There are proper ways to handle these situations.

I was at the park with ds1 when I was pregnant with ds2. There was a young man with 2 women. The young man obviously had a mental disability. He was following us around and at one point came up and gave me a hug. His caregivers grabbed him but he did manage to hug me. It wasn't a big deal. Sounds like maybe this guy had a deficit of some kind. I think it's more scary that there are people wielding tasers and pepper spray and are willing to indiscriminately use them.

In all seriousness, the least the could do is have coffee makers like they have in car shop waiting areas.

Nope. I live on the edge of a relatively shitty town that borders all the fancy Boston suburbs. The fancy towns have rules against drive thrus and all the ones in my town are way in the opposite direction. It sucks.

Ok, so I just need answers and I am going to ask as we are going out west in a month. Do you need a car seat on the plane? I did not think they gave you a seat for your LO, I am pretty sure we just get one seat.

If we had coffee in the waiting room at my office, would the majority of mamas love this?  (I can't stand coffee so it baffles me, haha)  I can always suggest it to my clinic manager - they're all about patient satisfaction!

Yesterday was a rough day for me too. I totally went off on DH because I didn't feel like he was helping around the house enough. Putting clothes in the washing machine then telling me they need to go in the dryer is not okay when I have to pump, wash bottles and do dishes while you lay on the couch and watch First 48!


Today is much better. I left work early and the cleaning people are cleaning my house while I read and eat lunch. Then I will go pick DD up early

@tttwalters if you can, buy a seat for your LO and bring a car seat. But don't book online, call and book over the phone and tell them what you plan to do.

Arg! What do you do if you suffer from insomnia? 

I couldn't get to sleep until 3 am and of course that is when M wakes up.  So tired. I know I am not working right now but I have to be seriously careful I don't bash his head off of something.  I could NEVER run a daycare.
