It is interesting that it shows just that part of the violin, considering the original image is the entire back. Not sure why it does that, but I kind of like the way it looks. I think of it as abstract art!

@dani+california‌ I am always terrified I'll send the wrong person a text meant for DH.

I thought I'd escaped without stretch marks, but they appeared last week! Boo!

I don't remember who posted it but omg they make Cadbury Creme egg flurries?!?!

Yay for spring weather! Took my dog for a walk but didn't give myself contractions... Maybe I need to walk faster.

Just found out I'm GbS positive

kinda sucks but they said they'd clamp me off and I can still labor in the tub. Apparently even though I told DH about the test and what it meant he freaked out when I texted him and thought baby girl would have to have IV antibiotics.

Those are my random thoughts.

Thanks for asking! Things are ok. We got a routine down which I was really happy with, but last night he puked everything up after I laid him down. He was making a horrible gagging noise and was chewing like something was in his mouth. I stopped that,turned the light off and heard it again. I looked in and he had projectile vomited EVERYWHERE! It broke my heart.
Needless to say after that I got zero sleep because I was watching him.

He's been gagging all morning so I called the ped. It's either over eating or reflux. So we're doing some prevention things, which include keeping him vertical for 30 minutes after he eats. Going to be a lot of sleepless nights!

I had such a good day yesterday!

Got confirmation that my maternity leave paperwork has been fedexed to my house, so I should have it today or tomorrow. Also contacted our short term disability provider and got the ball rolling there.

We got the car seat and bases out of the crawl space, DH installed the bases in both cars and I washed the fabric on the car seat. It dried overnight and is ready to put back on the car seat.

Got the mini pack n play out of the crawl space and got it set up in our room.

Got the newborn clothes out of the crawlspace, washed, dried and put away in the nursery.

We potty trained DS in late February, and he has been doing great with peeing in the toilet. Not so much with poops. Yesterday he told us TWICE that he had to poop, before he started going in his underwear! We had a huge celebration after that one.

DS is also on his fourth night not wetting the bed. He didn't wet the bed when he stayed with my MIL and FIL so that we could get his new big boy room decorated, and he hasn't wet his new big boy bed yet.

He is still coughing like crazy, and last night he was coughing so hard, he was going to throw up, so he called for me, saying he needed the toilet. Unfortunately I didn't make it to him in time, but that was a Mommy fail, not a toddler's failure to communicate. He did throw up twice in the toilet before his coughing calmed down (poor thing). Despite this, he was completely cheerful while Daddy took care of him and Mommy took care of the sheets on his bed.

All in all, I would say it was a day/night full of win!

Where does one take older car seats? We were given a hand-me-down that expires in September. Still cutting it too close for me so we're going with a newer one that I happen to like better also.

You cannot recycle them everywhere, unfortunately. I did find this, which might help you.

Hi ! I hope everyone is doing well. This thread has been really busy since I've been gone. Over 15.4K posts. Wow. We were finally able to bury my cousin and detectives are still working on his case. AWing myself for a moment since I felt like cooking for once (WTF, am I in labor???):

A conglomeration of yumminess I only know as "Gorp" because that's what my mom and her boyfriend called it while I was growing up - potatoes, scrambled eggs, meat of your choice, veggies of your choice, cheese, spices. Om nom nom! Basically an omelet, only not folded all fancy. XD

Just had my membrane stripped.... Holy that sucked. I think it gave me my first real contraction right afterwards too. Definitely not something I've ever felt before anyways. Headed for bloodwork to check on a few things and will find out Friday if I'm being induced right away or if everything is good and we can wait!

Oh no, poor Luke! That must have been scary to hear and see that. I hope your prevention techniques help the little guy.

This is why I turned down the cervical check that the doctor offered. Knowing how my body is preparing tells me absolutely nothing about when I am going to delivery. I think it just creates a false feeling of hope and then stresses you out more when nothing happens.

Then again, DS was born at 39+4, so if I make it to 39+5 I am going to be cranky!

I agree with you twirple. I went yesterday and was told that I am still locked up tight. My due date is tomorrow and my doc started talking induction dates and my heart just sank. All it did was discourage me and bum me out.

I can't decide if I should eat ice cream right now or take a nap. It's easier to just lay down on the couch for the nap instead of getting up for ice cream. I wish the dog was able to fetch ice cream for me.

PSA- walking a local farm so DS1 can see the animals 5 days after a csection is a bad idea. Halfway through I regretted it, but DS1 loved it. He was being cranky and jealous so we tried to do something special for him.

Its 930am on 3 April. It is DH and my 4 year wedding anniversary. DH is home today... wonder if he will remember.

If you ever ask him he just says Easter Saturday (we got married Easter Saturday). That obviously doesn't always work!

My cousin (male) just txt me asking if I had popped yet. Told him nope not yet, she isn't due till the 13th. He replied that I will go into labor tomorrow, I said pretty please, and his reply was

"Just remember who told u and think how I told u and just keep thinking about it"

I don't get it! my brain is not wired for riddles!!!

That is really creepy. I'm reading that as you thinking about him while you are in labor and delivering your kid. That last thing I want to do while in labor, is think that hard about ANY of my relatives.

On the other hand, it would be nice for you if he's right. I'll have to make sure my phone is charged and by my bed tonight.

Ok yep I can see how you can read it as creepy... I totally took it as in "think of me cause I told you so" haha. Guess you have to know the person, I'm pretty close to my cousin, so don't think he means anything creepy... At least I hope not!

And I would be very surprised if anything happens tomorrow! Still no sign of anything at all, and we do have a stubborn baby!

I had the same mom guilt this morning and treated my little guy too! He did nap for an hour- way less than usual. I thought it would have easily been a three hour nap day with all the stuff we did!

I totally understand! It's not like you can explain what's happening to them and it is such a big change. But I bet they will be happy to have one more person to love!
