    So my birthday is April 30. My step mother offered to throw me a bday/sip and see. Baby will be about 20 days old... She wants to invite about 50 people!! An I crazy to say yes?

    I've been kinda out of it today and have done some bizarre things. One being that I made a pb&j sandwich to take with me to class and after I made it, I put it back in the bread bag thing then back in the pantry. Soon after, as I was getting my stuff together, I paced around the kitchen looking for it. Looked in the trash, my bag, the fridge, and I even contemplated if my 12-lb dog was magically able to jump that high to take it off of the counter.
    So I took out the bread bag again to make another one and oh. I found it.

    I think it's best for myself and everyone if I just nap until this baby is ready to come out. 
    No way. Otherwise I've been in labor most of my life! Idk if I'm just scatterbrained or if it's the ADD, but my every day life is putting ice cream back in the pantry or fridge, losing things constantly, forgetting the most important things etc.

    @pineconey‌ you're def in labour. ;)

    I lost my mp today... Started to mention it to DH and he's like "you've NEVER mentioned a mucus plug before" and made me feel all embarrassed, so I just didn't finish telling him that I lost it. Now he's sleeping and my feelings are hurt, despite the fact that this was 6 hrs ago. I'm all butthurt.

    Also, my boobs are leaking and they never have before baby! Not impressed lol.

    Ugh I HATED that. I felt like she had a hard time finding my vagina. I totally got stabbed with that stupid stick.

    @sking72 I'm a FTM but I would think it would depend a lot on the circumstances....my BFF who was induced and it took days was on FB a lot keeping people posted, but it took a long time and it was something to distract her...I would imagine going from "maybe I'll be induced early" to super intense contractions, to going from 0-10 in 2 hours.....you wouldn't have as much time and personally I would assume that I would be concentrating more on getting through the pain at that point then updating internet strangers (in fact I thought that was the point of labour buddies, so that they get whatever updates I or DH send out to people the LB can post so that ya'll can get updates without me constantly checking)  


    I side-eye her amount of posting, but for someone who is taking a long time to progress or gets stalled I wouldn't second guess them doing something like update/post/check internet to give them something to focus or as distraction. 

    That's exactly what I was thinking! Like if I don't progress quick and SO is napping or something, I feel like I'd stop by and read some stuff. But I'm a FTM too so I don't really know how realistic it is to be bumping so much on the day of birth. Like pineconey said, not that I hate her, just don't always believe her.
