  My body is teaching me a lesson- no skipping my morning nap! I had to cancel my hangout with another pregnant lady this afternoon because I feel awful.
  At least I got laundry done this morning so I'm napping on clean sheets!!!!

  If you haven't looked at your vagina with a mirror lately, don't do it.  I haven't even given birth yet and seriously WTF is going on down there?? It doesn't even look like mine and I'm pretty bummed out about it.  I know I sound crazy and superficial, but I really liked my original one!

  Speaking of sisters, I don't know why it shocked me so much, but my sister told me the other day that she gained 90lbs from the beginning of her IUI throughout her pregnancy with the twins. I seriously had NO idea! This is the girl who is like 6'1", is very lanky, and has weighed 130lbs her entire adult life. The twins are turning one next weekend and she is back down to 135, but confirmed that hips spread and some things stay squishy permanently. It was an interesting conversation lol!

  I got up and got ready to go to work like normal. Showered, got dressed, made lunches and ate breakfast. Just as I was going to walk out the door I just didn't feel right so I decided to lie down for a minute. Well I just woke up and now it's 1pm. I guess I really needed a nap! Luckily my job is flexible so I emailed my boss and told him I'm working from home.

  Today should be the day. I'm just waiting for a room to open at the hospital and then I go in. At first it was at 12:00, now I have to call at 2:00 to see if they have room.   Had my PP appt today. I ugly cried because I won't be seeing my OB on a regular basis anymore. Seriously, with everything we went through I feel ridiculously close to her.
  
  I may have an unhealthy attachment to her. I told DH I wanted 3 kids so I have at least 18 more months with her before we're at like once a year visits!

  Bloody Mary's was mentioned a few pages back and while I was catching up I realized how very badly life is without brunch and a Bloody Mary on Sunday. In D.C there is a restaurant that makes the best damn bloody Mary's in the world- no question- stop questioning it. For reals.

  I had my membranes swept at 39 weeks last pregnancy. DD still came 6 days late. Hope it works for you tho.

  I'm going to feel the same when this pregnancy is over. I have known my OB since 2001, he's been there for all 4 pregnancies, held my legs while I tried pushing out the first two, told me the world wasn't ending when a VBAC didn't work and has cheered me on this entire pregnancy. Not ever being pregnant again is going to make me ugly cry...long after I deliver, right now I just want her out.

  Sorry, I'm being a total RTT whore right now before I leave for work... 
  Do you think James is too boy for a girl's middle name?  We don't have a middle name yet, and we've been discussing possibilities all day.  DH really likes Isla James.  I blew it off at first, but kinda love boyish girl names and it's growing on me.  I'm pretty sure our child is going to be a super girly girl, so he thinks it'll be one of those things she would "pull off" plus he says it's just a middle name.  I want to not like it, but the more I say it the more I'm kinda into it too...

  I think if you like it go for it! I plan to name my girl (If its a girl) Ryan Elizabeth so I dig boy names. I would much rather name my child a "boys" name than some of the horribleness that passes for a "cute" name for a girl.

  I mean, it's your child and your choice! If you guys love it then go for it. But IMO, James isn't 'boyish', it's 100% boy name. It's also DH's middle name so perhaps I'm not the best person to be saying either way.

  Agree, it's 100% boy.  I said that because I know a lot of people with the last name James, so I'm more used to some girls being named "Kate James" or "Melinda James", but obviously a middle name =/= last name.

  I know an Elizabeth James. She is awesome. She also married into the last name Franco, so she is now Liz James Franco. Bonus if you like James Franco.

  I know a woman first name James. I think it is odd as a first name. Is there any significance to the name James? relative or something? A lot of people in southeast Asia give their daughter's their fathers first name as their middle name. Andplusalso, it is just a middle name, hardly anyone will ever know what it is unless she wants them to.

  From friends stories and the stories already posted on here, it seems like such a straight forward labour is NOT the norm....although maybe she did get induced yesterday and asked the question after the fact to try and not get judged? 

  
  I wouldn't be surprised one bit if she was some sort of a catfish. She is definitely pathological, or to put it nicely she exaggerates.

  As someone who grew up with the middle name of Travis, I am biased against girls having boy middle names. I like to think I carry it off well, but wow did I get teased as a kid! It was a family name that I am supposed to be passing down to my eldest child, but I have such horrible memories associated with it that no child of mine will be having it--not even a boy!
