  • Anyone have any advice for my iphone? It's not telling me that I have messages anymore until I go right into the app... It's making me mad. [-(

  • Hmmm so we are supposed to get 2-4 inches of snow today. This means my Costco and grocery store run is out of the picture until tomorrow. Unfortunately, that also means I should probably use my time to make the dreaded phone call to insurance where I have to ask about pre-notification, lactation consultant coverage, circumcision, and verify that I can only get a manual breast pump (boo!).

SOOOOO officially the grossest thing happened to me last night out of anything either pregnancy.

I woke up in a panic last night because I woke up on my back choking on liquid.  Apparently heart burn made me throw up a little in my mouth and then I choked on.  Luckily I woke up and swallowed the burning gross fluid in my mouth instead of dying of throw up.  But my heart was racing a million miles per hour.  :-&
UGH that happened to me three nights in a row last week. The first time I did throw it up. I thought I wouldn't get sleep again until baby was but but it went away, thank goodness.

  • OMG agreed!!! My friend has really annoying girls who are like 4 and 6 and I *want* to like them, but every time I see them, they both have total meltdowns. Her house looks like a toy store exploded to the point where I tripped over no less than 3 things trying to get to the bathroom. And they scream and slap each other, and even though we put on a kid's movie (of their choosing) when they came over, they still acted up and practically ripped apart this giant stuffed puppy I've had since I was a kid. And the mom just sat there and ignored them--she then told me she just found out she is pregnant again right after she and her husband decided to stop trying because they actually didn't want more kids after all. Facepalm.
  • @BiggerInRealLife--- I am so sorry. It's such a sad time. :( Thoughts and prayers.

  • I realize that my due date is two weeks away, but every time I see the ticker on the bottom of my siggy, my heart skips a beat and my stomach drops.  For some reason 15 days is waaaay scarier than two weeks to me!

    I'm such a head case ;))

    This is me EXACTLY!!!!

Woohoo! My house is now clean enough for the cleaners to come!
I have decluttered enough junk that they will actually be able to clean things. Apparently, paying someone to clean was the motivation I needed to clean... but this way I only had to do it half-assed because they are going to do the real work for me.

I really should take the dog for a walk so he isn't super obnoxious when they come to clean, but now I'm tired. I think we might take a nap instead.

I love how I have to clean BEFORE and AFTER the cleaning ladies come.  Declutter before and fix everything after.  They always put stuff back wrong and take objects that are artfully angled and line them up like your taking inventory or something.  And the furniture and pictures are all crooked.

    First world problems.

After? I've never hired house cleaners before, so I didn't even think of that.

What do you do while they are cleaning? Bump and supervise awkwardly? This is a pressing issue, as they arrive in 10 mins and will be here for the next 4 hours.

I am currently doing just that. Bumping, watching tv, and supervising awkwardly. I have never had cleaners before. This was a shower gift from my sister :-)

  • okay question: how do you sleep? like in detail...I need suggestion for severe hip pain. I rotate every hour and try to lay inclined on my back. The pain wakes me up-- as soon as I stand I feel fine.

I have a snoogle, body pillow....but the pressure on my hips is ridiculous...I need suggestions!

  • @baileymama3 I sleep with one memory foam pillow under my head. I bunch a sheet up under my belly and have a pillow between my legs. I really think the sheet helps because it conforms to my belly and supports it taking pressure off my hips
  • I really really want a bloody mary and a reuben...
oh a reuben I've been craving that something feirce!

  • Doctor set my induction date. I will be 40 weeks 5 days the date of induction. T&P she decides to come before then.
  • @baileymama3‌ - I use a Snoogle in the front and in between my legs. Then another squishy pillow on top of the Snoogle by my head. If I'm REALLY uncomfortable, I'll add another firm pillow between my legs starting nearing my knees and going lengthwise (to keep my calves and ankles from touching each other). And I'll sometimes add another firm pillow slightly wedged by my back. But I still have a lot of lower back and hip pain, so I'm probably not doing it right. I wish I could just sleep on an inflatable raft in a pool!!
  • I just had to schedule my labwork for my c/sec - in 14 days. Uhh I better start trying to get things moving with LO, as of yesterday there was still no progress. I don't think she'll come before April but that was a bit of a SJGL moment for me.

So my head has been all over the place lately...so much so that Facebook just reminded me that my birthday is Saturday. I mean it's one thing for it to help me remember other peoples bdays, but my own? Lol.

Hahaha, this reminds me of Old School, "you forgot your birthday again, Frank?" Happy early birthday! Dinner plans?

  • @mamrotu73‌ Yeah, I just read and watch TV in one room and when they move into there I relocate. I hate when they are in the kitchen and I'm hungry, and then I feel guilty like I'm messing everything up if i go in there and cook afterwards. I trust my ladies (its not an agency) so sometimes I leave and run errands, but I do feel like sometimes they rush through it when I'm gone. I don't trust agency cleaners because I worry they steal or case houses. Id rather have a referral/personal relationship. Another good reason to be home is sometimes they break things. My current ones never have, and generally its not a big deal, accidents happen (id never take it out of their pay). I did have a lady in the past that was really hard on our stuff and she'd break things and not tell us, just throw them out. Like things that could have been glued back together and repaired. Maybe she had other employers that took it out of her pay so she was scared to tell me. I don't know.
