Congratulations to you! I'll be praying for you and little Henry. I hope that he continues to do well and the MD/staff continue to take good care of him (sounds like they are from the updates).
Congratulations--I'm so happy you and your little boy are doing well. I hope he has a short and uneventful stay in the hospital and your entire family can be home together soon. I look forward to more updates!
@hubbs173 I just realized you've been updating this! so glad they have a plan for his heart and everyone is so optimistic! lots of prayers everything continues to go well for y'all
Henry is doing well today! The dr didn't hear any murmur in his heart so that means the medicine is working to close the hole in his heart!!! They will do a recheck echo on Wed to see if the hole is closed up.
He had his head ultrasound today to check for any bleeding. His dr said it appears that he may have a grade 1, which is like a bruise. But the way he said it he's not even sure there is one and if it's there it's tiny. They'll recheck his head ultrasound in a week.
His blood gases have been good and overall he's very stable. He's still getting phototherapy to treat for jaundice. He was a little more active today, wiggling his legs and arms!! :x
Here's a couple of pics from today. He's wearing eye protection for the phototherapy. His nurse said tomorrow she'll take to off so we can get a few of his face!
Quick update: he's doing great, his dr said he's improving really well. And he may come off the ventilator tomorrow!!! Also repeat echo of his heart tomorrow, fx the hole is closed!!!
Loving all of your updates! Glad to hear Henry is going strong and that the heart medicine is working! As a buffalo girl myself, I'm glad to hear Henry is at sisters and that his care there is going well, keep us updated
And the pictures! Keep those coming, he is one handsome boy
