@elllaf None if those are necessarily credible sources. Baby Center? No. If baby shoes were, in fact, so detrimental to their growth and development, all pediatricians would make sure they mentioned it. Just like they stress back sleeping until they can roll from stomach to back, and vice versa.
I'm not trying to make this a claws-out debate. Like I said doctors (including my own) have said that the constriction hinders their development. Plain and simple. To say all pediatrician's would mention it is ridiculous. Just from TB alone we know how vastly different pediatrician's beliefs are. Including their stance on solids. I'm not trying to make you all stop putting shoes on your babies. Anything in moderation right? Just reiterating what I've learned.
Oh I have another one. I think if you don't like country music you don't have a soul. Jk...kinda. I get if you don't like the sound of it, but to not appreciate the lyrics? Country music is one of the best story telling genres, so many country songs move me to tears.
LB, this is wrong. Country music is the WORST because of the lyrics. #Istillloveyou #wellmaybealittlelessnow #soulessforlyfe
I think it is silly for people to go to a public event like a sports game or concert and get upset about people swearing and/or drinking. You are going to a venue with 10K+ people all looking to have a good time, whatever that means to them. You are not going to be able to control them so don't expect to go and get a rated G experience. If you want that, stay home and watch it on TV.
I somewhat agree, but I think it depends on the environment that they venue/sports team portrays. We are in S.A. and the Spurs are a very family friendly organization that do a lot of youth nights such as scout nights, etc. So I did have words with a bunch of drunken Navy guys screaming words like "cunt, f*#!, your mom is a whore" behind a group of scouts.

Breakfast is my least favorite meal of the day. If we go out to breakfast I usually try to get something like a BLT. I can't stand eggs as omelets or scrambled eggs unless they have a ton of cheese in them to hide the egg taste.
eta: I don't mind eggs as eggs benedict or sunny side up sometimes.
I think babies who have pacifiers in their mouths for pictures look FAR less attractive than those without. A doesn't take her paci too often, but if she does I sure take it out before I take a pic of her...or I just wait. I hate the paci look.
i assume this was sparked by my picture, this was the alternative....i was in a rush didnt have time to calm her down and get her to smile.
Country music: love it, especially old school George Strait.
Kardashian Clothes: not a Kardashian fan, but I love the way Kourtney dresses herself and her kids, sad that the line is only for girls.
Tattoos: Love tasteful ones
Skulls: My 11 years old has a skull shirt, but I don't buy a whole bunch of that stuff
Baby shoes: My LO wears shoes when we go to special events, and I don't want him barefooted. He pulls off his socks. We don't wear shoes daily.
MY UOs:
1. McDonald's iced coffee is better (and cheaper) than Starbucks iced coffee, but their hot coffees are nasty.
2. I think it is silly when grown adults who don't have children take time off every year during college Spring Break to go to the beaches and bars. Spring Break is not a thing when you are not in college and it is something different if you have your own children. I know several people in their 30's + that take Spring Break off every year to go to South Padre or the beaches for a week to do the drink, party, beads, etc. thing.
@carriet2018 we have those boots for dd in silver. I kept waiting for her to grow into them and now it seems her legs are a little too chunky. I love them!
This is kind of late for this one, but it got so sick of hearing Bob Costas give all his political opinions on the Olympic coverage. I was not watching to hear about how great Putin is for getting the Olympics together or any of the other things he went off about. I just wanted to see the damn competitions! So in general, unless you are on a political show, I do not give a damn what your politics are. Hollywood included!
Bob Costas is the worst. Can't stand him. He is big on gun control, and I'm big on him shutting the fuck up.
Ugh I can't stand Bob Costas. I especially can't stand him when they have him as a football commentator. GTFO, guy.
about to blow your mind with these baby shoes #lookawayifyouhavesensitiveeyes
Stop it- too much cute!!!!! #adorbswithpaci
I really want a pair of baby Uggs for DS but DH is resisting me... I am keeping my eye out at consignment shops. When I nannied in college the baby boy in the family had a pair and they were the cutest fucking things ever. If I have a girl ever she will have pink sequin Uggs like this and DH won't get a say.
Skulls: I have a onesie for DS that has a skull with an eye patch that says milk pirate lol. Also a hoodie that is fleece and for some reason has little teddy bear ears on the hood, it's super cute ha! But yeah everything in moderation.
Country music: yes, I love it. Lots if great lyrics. But also has it's share of awful songs.
Baby shoes: Unnecessary? Yes. Cute? Yes.
My UO: I don't like wine or beer or really alcohol in general. I just don't get it! It tastes nasty, all of it!

---Stuck in quote---
OMG, yes! My 25 year old BIL asked us what we were doing for spring break last week. Umm, we're working (I'm 29 and H is 32)?? And you're not in college anymore. You have a job at a bank.

& also, I think iced coffee from McDonald's is like drinking a sugar-bomb, and I don't get any flavoring just the "regular". Blechhhh Never. Again. SBucks FTW!
Super weird but I still enjoy doing DDs laundry, hate doing ours and a lot of times they're in the same load but I love folding her clothes and hanging them up
I guess it's a UO that I love all country music. From pop-y Hunter Hays and Scotty McCreery and Rascall Flatts, to George Strait and Alan Jackson. From Red Solo Cup to Dust on the Bottle to Carrying Your Love with Me.
Love me some Patsy Cline, but I can't get down with new country out today. Bluegrass on the other hand...
Still trying to envision an astronaut mixing non-dairy powdered creamer into his/her coffee in a zero gravity environment. Spoiler: it does not end well.
Shoes are adorable. If I had monies, I would by DS all the vans slip ons in the world.
I am going to have to come back with a UO of my own.
Yes to shoes on babies. Unless they are Jordan's or something along those lines that's ridiculously priced.
Paci pics all day long, son.
Country music, I like it only bc carriet does.
Skulls on clothes-I like it in moderation but too much can look cheesy and I'm not a fan of characters etc on clothes.
My UO-I don't like when little kids (5 or so and below) wear wigs with their Halloween costumes. I think it looks so strange and actually takes away from the cuteness. Plus cheapo wigs are crazy uncomfortable.

so you don't like the taste of eggs...but you'll sometimes eat runny yolk.

oh yea huh? i didn't even think of that. well save it for the end of the world!
Seconded. Even when he was rocking the Terminator eyes from the Sochi poo-water.
I don't understand any of the Costas-hate. He's like the happiest, nicest TV man in the world.
#teddybearadorable
He just can't do his job and comment on a football game, he has to take advantage of his public job and use it as a personal political platform. That's all.
But is he an anti-gun liberal or an ultra-conservative Putin-lover?!? #Iamsoconfused

When dd1 was 4 she wanted to be Coraline for Halloween. Blue wig was vital for costume success.
Country music fan here, love classics like George Strait but also love Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean. Do not like Zach Brown Band however, I think all his songs sound exactly the same, plus they're way over played.
My UO: I can't stand when a friend wants to hang out then proceeds to spend the whole time playing on their phone, disconnect for an hour for crying out loud!! People are way too connected these days and it drives me crazy. I'm a big fan of technology but I know when to put it down!
I went into Gymboree for the first time last weekend and I did not like it at all. I didn't see anything cute for DS. Maybe for girls but I didn't look in that section.
I hate big spoons. We put all of our spoons together and it bugs me when there are only bigs left! Maybe it's because I have a small mouth? #imtalkingaboututensils #spooningisgood #DHisalwaysthebigspoonandilikehim

ONLY if I have bread to dunk in the egg yolk. It's really on very rare occasion. As I've gotten older I just don't like eggs, but I DO love them in cakes and cookies.
@kuhababy - I really think the main reason I'm not a ZBB fan is bc around here they play them constantly, I used to like them back when they first started being played, but not so much now!
I do not like the taste of beer, never have. I prefer fruity martinis. My mom is the Coors Light Queen and DH loves IPAs. He had a hang over at age 3 after he grabbed unguarded keg cups at his parents party and drank all the leftover beer. Wonder what LOs choice of alcohol will be?
I think the shopping cart cozies for the baby to sit in are a giant waste of money. Kids need germs and if they can't sit upright well enough to be strapped in without all the extra padding, then they don't belong in the seat.

Germs are one thing. Salmonella is another. #rawchickenjuiceerrywhere
The rest of your opinion doesn't make sense. The cozy doesn't help my kid sit upright, the blanket I tuck in next to him does. The strap on the cozy is no different than the strap on the actual cart seat.
