Accomplishments, shall we?

Cleaned my house for my midwives' home visit- was still vacuuming when they walked in, because I have excellent time management skills. I really wish this "nesting" thing would kick in so I don't have to wait for another crisis to clean.

and today I started my day 2 hours earlier than normal, so I am surprised I am still functioning. The real question is whether or not I will make myself go to yoga. My aching pelvis says "yes," my willpower says "no."

This has been, by far, one of my most productive days in two months. I'm gonna credit this thread for giving me motivation to get off my butt. And my mom, who showed up to help.

Today I:

Ate healthily (for the most part)
Hit the grocery
Did three loads of laundry (DH's chore, but he still gets to fold.)
OB appointment
Started DH's "yay, you're a daddy!" birthday present

AND . . .

Mom and I got the nursery cleared out, save for furniture stuff DH has to get a friend to help him move upstairs. Next step is cleaning out this side table all my knitting and sewing notions are in and moving those to a desk upstairs. Sounds small, but I've got a LOT of stuff. Then I can clean out the closet that is currently full of 5 years' worth of half-finished projects and about $2000 worth of knitting books. (The guest room was also my craft room, now turned nursery.) THEN we can prep the walls and paint, and THEN we can finally decorate!!! So much done today, and it still feels very far from being done.

And the crib came just now!!!!! It's total motivation to get the room done because I can't wait to get it set up, but there's no way I'm doing so until we've painted. I have to organize all the things!!!

Hmmm today I accomplished:
Pick up/drop off dry cleaning
Got DS to daycare
Made him a bunting flag with rocket ships for his bedroom
Took a nap
Cleaned out the freezer
Dried clothes in dryer again but never folded
Cleaned kitchen/made DH lunch for tomorrow

Plus all the tiny things a mama does that go unnoticed!!!

I finished all my thank you notes from my shower this past weekend. Huge feat considering it took me almost a year to send out our wedding thank yous. I hope this nesting thing sticks around after baby gets here... I'm loving the motivation to get things done! Even if it's just one thing a day..
