I'm so late to the party on catching up with this thread, but YES to the 90's! And I too made up dance routines to Janet Jackson and Paula Abdul (ammany others
Taking me back.. I remember thinking this was a "hot" outfit: black turtleneck bodysuit with shoulders cut out, huge black jnco pants, chain belt, white eye liner and revlon rum raisin lipstick
Oh my I think I had that bodysuit in a different color. I thought I looked fabulous in it but probably not. I hated when the crotch unsnapped while I was still in school. Lol
Did anyone own Hammer pants or was I the only one?
Yes, I had MC Hammer pants! When I was in 6th grade I wore them to my band concert. My mom had to come late for some reason and when she saw me she was so mad! And really pissed at my dad for not noticing what I was wearing. Lol She made me write my band teacher an apology card the next day.
I wish someone got a photo of me that night. I bet I looked awesome.

But do you remember the Oprah episode where they announced the lady who named it run raisin?
Omg I had that shirt, I think it was middle school for me! Also, I remember freshman year of high school wearing cargo jeans with my guy friend's billabong t shirts and cobalt blue plastic Adidas and white plastic vans! That lasted for about a half year and then I was all about Clueless inspired stuff; skirt suits, baby tees, clothes from Contempo Casual and Wet Sea, lol!
@arlingirl, I totally read Sassy!

I had a corduroy paisley jumpsuit with a peter pan collar and hammer type pants. If that sounds like a whole bunch of style faux pas in one bundle, well, it was. Think Aladdin meets homely meets hammer.
K, I came back to this thread to read all the 90s nostalgia, love love love it. @lizabethann06, the other day I was at the mall--and "the sign" came on, it immediately made me so happy and took me back to middle school!
Thank god @ramy3695 mentioned scrunchies, I thought we were going to get through like 8 pages of 90s talk and no one was going to mention scrunchies! scrunchies ftw. I always wanted a caboodle but never had one!!
FFFC (in the UO thread)--I kinda LOVE that the stretchy headbands that I wore when I was 12 are now back "in style" 21 years later! Or is that just here in Denver??
@citrusfamily (or anyone else)--did you guys see Jimmy Fallon and Will Smith doing the history of hip hop dancing on his series premiere the other night? With the overalls buttoned on one side and the neon t-shirts? hilarious.....PSA to all of J13--if you have not seen this, seriously go youtube it right now....

I wish someone got a photo of me that night. I bet I looked awesome.
