    Yeeeeah I've officially given up on real pants. I'm 6' tall and plus size, so I'm just over the whole "pants" thing. Leggings for the next two months!!

    I'm just doin skirts that can go under the belly. I'm done with clothes by 2 weeks and 2 days till I can be naked at home.

    I AM STARVING. For whatever reason (and I'm not complaining), I have had little interest in food this whole pregnancy, but the last 3 days I have been INSATIABLE. There is no amount of food that is enough to fill me.....if this goes on for 6 more weeks I'm not sure I'll fit in the birthing suite.

    Site visit got done early, and since I'm not the one driving the three hours back to the office, I've already caught up! Love all the gifs - my coworkers probably think I'm crazy now for snort laughing in the car while reading...

    @poru at least it went over well!

    We told my mil and she said your joking right? And then just oh. His entire family except his brother always calls him baby 2.0 instead of his name. They even wrote that on his presents instead of his name. It's not changing!! Ugh sorry that's my in law rant of the day.

    When it comes to names, everyone has an opinion that they simply cannot keep to themselves. So annoying! My mom hasn't exactly said she doesn't like our front runners, but sort of implied it by giving another name suggestion and saying "and it's old" which I took to mean that she thinks the current names we like are "old". Oh well.

    Also, I just briefly stalked F14 HDBD and there are so many cute squishy outside babies. We are getting close!

    Think baby girl is pissed she has the hiccups. Every four to five hiccups I get a kick to the ribs! Sorry but the rice krispy treat was to good to pass up Lil Lady!

    Just for perspective: I was like that     last week, but this week I'm back to eating normally :) There's hope!

    My doctor told me Mucinex is ok, bit it's the shitty ONLY Mucinex kind, not the good stuff with pain relief in it. You can also try cough drops and a nasal spray or neti pot. Colds during pregnancy suuuuuck. I can't wait to be done haha!

    My stomach HURTS today... I haven't had BH, so I though maybe it was that but everything is squishy, not hard at all.  It even hurts to touch...  Like all my muscles are horribly bruised and painful.  I want to cry, and DH leaves tomorrow morning for three weeks so he's zero help if it's anything.  Cue meltdown...

    Honestly, it depends on where you work. Most major corporations use short term disability insurance coverage for maternity leave. When I worked at Comcast, 1-3 yrs of employment got you 6 weeks (up to 26 weeks if medically necessary) @ 60% of your salary, 3-4 years earned you 6 weeks @ 75% pay then up to 20 more weeks @ 60%, and 5+ years of faithful service got you 6 weeks @ 100% pay, 6 more @ 75%, and up to 14 more @ 60%. It was amazing, cause I was there almost 6 years when I had DS.

    Then I heard that Canada gives a year with full pay. Now I'm just bitter.
    Actually, I'm in canada and don't get full pay... Employment insurance is what pays me, and I get 55% of my usual salary. I just have the ability to stay off for a full year, and be able to return to my position after that. We do, however, get something magical called "baby bonus" ;) which is based on income, but it's free money for having a kid basically.

    That's crazy! When I found the car I wanted, I told them I needed to get things wrapped up fast so I could get back to work and they had me approved, signed, and out the door in less than two hours! I'd never have waited DAYS.
    yeah the last time we bought a car we had it the next day and that was only because the dealership needed to finish certifying it since it just went on the lot and was still going through the process. This is a small local lot I guess the loan company they use is slow.

    Ugh. My baby shower is on Saturday and my mom and sister were planning on driving five hours to attend and spend the weekend with me. Today, my niece and nephew for diagnosed with hand, foot, and mouth disease.

    Now I'm worried that even if she does still come that it is something that might make me sick :(

    And @Poru, I love Zosia/Zoe. I don't think Zoe is all that popular and Zosia is a bit more mainstream now that Zosia Mamet's in the picture!

    HFM is pretty hard to spread to adults (except for the weird california mutation strain that went around last year, and even then it was barely noticeable in adults).  Since you are pregnant, you may be more susceptible to it.   Most adults who get it though don't even notice symptoms.

    Our daycare had a huge breakout last year (almost 50% of the kids since you are contagious before you even know you are sick) and only a couple parents had symptoms, and even then it was a tiny rash as opposed to the full blown sickness that kids go through.


    This. Our daycare was hit too. Some of the kids got it really bad. Some just mild. I caught it and just had the bottoms of my feet hurt/sting/burn.

    Yes, we've been loving on Zosia as a name since we started watching Girls a few months ago.

    Obsessed with that show
