I bought girl scout cookies yesterday and put them directly in the freezer. I can't really eat them until this LO arrives because of this freaking GD. But they will be SOOO good in a few months. I had this same issue 2 years ago, but never bought any so I was deprived once DS came. While I did tell DH about them, I hid them in the back...so hopefully he won't eat any :P
I don't understand how one has the restraint to FREEZE their cookies. I thought everyone immediately opened them as soon as they left the girl scout's hands.
The trick is to put the whole thing into the freezer, girl scout and all.

I have become extremely sensitive to noise...... every time my husband chews next to me I want to punch him in the pills....ugh. He is no longer allowed to eat cereal anywhere near me....lol....at least he has a good attitude about it. I am usually a very easy breezy kind of person, but not anymore. And my crotch licking dog has been sentenced to her crate on several occasions to clean her naughty bits...slurp...slurp...AHHHHHH!
On the plus side, we find out if we are team blue or team pink tomorrow it is amazing how much speculation goes into something that is a 50/50 chance! I just want to know so I can tell people and they can stop asking I am going to wear a banner! Big props to you team green folks; I don't know how you can stand the anticipation!
I bought a Snoogle over the weekend with a 20% off coupon and I love it so much. And even moreso now that acid reflux started up last night and I was able to use the Snoogle to prop up on and be able to fall asleep (with the help of Tums and a husband to fetch one, of course) again.
Ugh. I've had a cold for a week and my nose is constantly in that pre-sneeze state. It's exhausting. I just want to sneeze and be done with it already.

I can't stand hearing people chew. We are working towards not watching tv during dinner at our house, but I have to put the tv on pandora because otherwise it's too quiet and I can hear chewing. Just, no. And this is always, not just when I'm KU
ETA: quite =/= quiet

Same here, even with the working to not watch the news during dinner.
DH sat down next to me last night with a combo bag of pretzels and cheese doodles. I just about lost it. It was sooo loud, ugh! He moved to the other couch, but that didn't help. And don't get me started on people drinking loudly! Rawr!
Seriously me for the last 3 days.....CHEEESEEEBURGERS MMMMMM
We went to red robin on Sunday for dinner because I was craving a royal red robin burger! Can't beat a burger loaded with an egg and bacon on top! Mmmm!
I've been so bitchy about H helping clean the house that he finally decided to let me get a cleaning lady. I don't know if I'll need her every other week, but between working from home and chasing around an almost toddler, cleaning just doesn't get done. I don't know how people do it.
DD's first birthday is tomorrow. I may be weeping as we speak because I can't believe it's been a year. That's another reason I am excited for said cleaning lady - I'll have 30+ people in my house on Sunday.
I love this thread. The end.
Hugs! I made it through the night before DD's first birthday with copious amounts of Mexican food, a few glasses of wine and LOTS of tears.
I woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. I have yet another snow day off and I seriously can't stand being in my house anymore. Both me and DS are bored.
Yesterday was my birthday and it kinda sucked. DH asked what I wanted to do a few weeks ago and I said I wanted to go out and do something with just him since we never do, I wanted an ice cream cake, and I wanted an Urban Decay Eye Shadow pallet. I did not get any of that. He never made plans to go out and I ended up having work yesterday to make up for the snow days, but he hasn't said anything about rescheduling next weekend. He never ordered my eye shadow and never went to the store to get it. Now he says next time we're near the mall, we'll go pick it up. WTF? My birthday is not a surprise, plan ahead. He made me a cake from scratch and I do appreciate the effort, but it sucks. I don't want to eat it at all. I'm wondering if I can cut pieces off and hide them in the garbage can so he thinks I ate it. He also made me angel hair pasta with scallops (drowning in butter and oil), which was nice, but I woke up today to the dirty dishes in the sink.
My parents also wanted to take me out to eat as a birthday present, which got cancelled because of other circumstances this weekend. There has been no talk of rescheduling that either. So, um, thanks?
This morning DH calls to tell me the ground beef he took out of the freezer so I could make meatloaf today spent all night on the counter because he forgot. This day blows.
Regarding birthdays,it's slightly scary that I haven't even started planning DD's 2nd birthday party (planning it for 3/22) because I don't want to acknowledge it. [-( Man... how does it go so FAST?!?!? I just want to snuggle her and kiss her little cheeks, but she won't sit still long enough. (
Taking the glamour of pregnancy to new heights (which I literally and figuratively do on a daily basis ;-)), this morning I suddenly felt like I was going to projectile vomit while I was midstream going pee. I managed to cut off the peeing and did a spin move worthy of an ice dancing medal to get the vomit in the toilet rather than all over myself. GOLD!
We got a quote for our windows for the house and its insanely high because of our "window wall". I have to get another quote with a lesser quality window but still with wood trim interior and the same color exterior. I forgot the plans and quote at home. So there goes that idea.
Also, I have to fill out an easement application for the telephone pole going in and forgot that paperwork at home. I'm on a roll today.
@theanne I was wondering where you have been. Actually, now that I think about it @loislayne (hopefully I spelled that right) has not been around much either..?

Our girls must be about one year apart! My DD's party is on the 22 of march too!

Fun!! Her birthday is actually the 13th, but it worked out better for us this way.
We're thinking maybe Curious George for her party. She is obsessed! I think I hear the theme song in my sleep..... 8-} I really should start planning.

@loislayn23 hangs out on Parenting the most I think, and possibly her BMB.
Isn't this her BMB too? Or did I miss something?
That's what I thought too. I'm not on as much as I'd like and thought maybe I had missed something.
I'm craving a fried chicken sandwich with cheddar cheese, onion rings and BBQ sauce. I just need to convince DH to get one for me since he's already out of the house.
I get nauseous every time I have morning coffee without eating. Which I try to do every day since I have the choice of drinking something then waiting 30min to eat, or eating something and waiting 1 hour to drink. It might have resulted in 10 minutes of dry heaving into a toilet one morning while DH was trying to make food (apparently not fast enough).
Have I said recently how much I love being pregnant?
I've done dishes & 2 loads of laundry. I think that's enough for today. I'm going to have lunch and go out for a light hike, the rest can wait till tomorrow.
I just had a huge piece of lasagna for lunch. My parents got it from some restaurant and gave me some. It is the best lasagna I've ever eaten, but its so extremely greasy. Now I just want to curl up on my chair and take a nap, but I'm not sure if DS is falling back to sleep or not. He woke from his nap early and was playing around, but is laying back down. Please sleep more.

Seems to be a common theme. I didn't even know bojangles had a breakfast menu.

don't use the youtube embedding, just copy the link from the address bar and paste it in the box.
ww w.you tube.com (without spaces of course) no need to insert or link.
