I was just curious, has anyone here had pregnancy symptoms at CD 22? I was on these forums a few months back back but have quit trying because I got discouraged, but a few more cycles later I start having random period-like cramps on CD 22. So I got my hopes up a little... (Thought I was done with this crazy symptom spotting!).

PS. my cycles are normally 29 days, but I'm not sure when I ovulated.

I sometimes get cramps all throughout my tww and have not been pregnant in those cycles so unfortunately it isn't a reliable indicator. It could mean something but it can also mean nothing at all. Try not to get your hopes up too high in case it is just random cramping. In the past, I have been very disappointed by "symptoms" in the tww when it turns out they were not pregnancy related. I hope for you that it IS a good sign.

It is actually better to temp so you know your dpo and if you have actually o'd.

I edited the post so it makes sense. I've never had these cramps unless AF was here. I know that is a symptom for some people but wasn't sure about a week before a missed period.

I wish I had temped so I knew when I ovulated, but I gave up on that a few months ago

It could be your body ovulating. Without temping you don't know if you ovulated yet or not.

Every woman has different symptoms. Heck, many women have different symptoms for each pregnancy. Have I ever had pregnancy symptoms at CD22? Nope. Usually at CD22, I haven't even ovulated. Most pregnancy symptoms are also PMS symptoms. And for me, they're also often ovulation symptoms. Bottom line - symptoms are meaningless little bitches that are only here to mess with your head.

If you want to know what's going on with your body, I highly recommend checking out Fertility Friend - it's free. Read the tutorials if you want to analyze your cycle, but really if you want to know when to test, you just need to follow these steps:

1. Buy a basal body thermometer (BBT). You can get the Mabis for $8 at Wal-Mart or Amazon.
2. Sign up for fertility friend (FF)
3. Take your temp each morning before getting out of bed or moving.
4. Record temp in FF.
5. Forget it and wait for FF to give you cross hairs (pinpointing ovulation) and then test on the day that FF says.

Oh man, I tried FF and everything else for that matter! I gave up on everything! This is the first I have even thought about TTC in at least two cycles.

Sure, I've had symptoms on or around CD22, including but not limited to cramping. I have never been pregnant, however.

Maybe the pain is ovulation pain? But you won't know for sure unless you temp to confirm ovulation.

I really can't help (or maybe don't feel like helping) someone who gives up on temping so quickly and can't be bothered to make the effort to do all they can to learn about their bodies, cycles, etc. Not to mention the shitstorm this particular OP caused with her lovely intro making me want to help her even less.

Ahhh, I remember you, @brandiwine14. But I am going to play nice because I apparently woke up on the right side of bed this morning.

Seriously, start temping. I O'd like clockwork on CD 17/18 until one month I O'd randomly on CD 13 so my cycle was only 23 days that month. My best guess is that you O'd early and your period is on the way. Sorry.

ETA - if you were temping, you'd know if this is your period coming or possibly O-related cramping. Takes a lot of guess work out of it and limits the crazy.
