We are having our valentines dinner tonight because DH worked late last night. I'm going to pick up some fresh pasta and bread from a local italian imports market. Mmmmmmm. Can't wait!
I'm resisting the Carters sale b/c we're going to BRU this weekend for the last few days of the great trade in.. Got about $250 of gift cards so we're gonna go get our travel system this weekend and maybe a few other inexpensive things. Trying not to buy too much b/c we still have a shower on 3/8 but I'm not about to let the trade in opportunity pass us by!
Resisting urge to go back to Carters.com...so...incredibly...hard...
@aviola329 I'm slightly worried about this also, but, this outfit isn't over the top easter. It can be cute just for spring. It has a bunny on the butt! hehe. Only probably is he'll need a jacket or something over it because its short sleeved. Too cold for short sleeves here. (maybe like 2 days over the summer would be warm enough.)

DH and I are idiots. We can't figure this Moby out to save our lives. We're practicing with a bear, that poor thing has been stuffed, crammed, shoved, pushed, and pulled. So far not a fan of the Moby.
The one day I feel completely like shit, LO decides to go on a movement spree. Baby girl I need to please stop making mommy feel like she is on a roller coaster that just won't stop!
So, I just talked to my sister and she and my other 2 sisters are coming to town next weekend to host my baby shower at my house. They are having the shower at 10:30 a.m. and are providing muffins/pastries, fruit, juice/coffee for about 25-30 guests. I just don't feel like that's enough food. What do you think?

@LoriMc12 I think maybe a casserole or two would be good to add. Some people might hold off on breakfast...then again that's not necessarily your responsibility to feed them a full meal since it's kind of an in between time.
Put together the baby tub, washing all the baby towels, prepped the diapers, put the curtains up, and put the mamaroo together. That makes up for the fact that I practically slept until 2pm

Asked DH to leave the room while I changed cause I feel so huge and gross lately. He wouldn't go cause he said he likes to see me and I just started crying. Nothing like an afternoon meltdown #-o
September Siggy Challenge: What I Sing in the Shower: Little Mermaid "Part Of That World"
I just realized what an all out pissing contest it's going to be to be declared the favorite aunt/uncle in mine and DH's families.
I don't think I can do this.
I know for a fact that my DH's sister will be calling herself that from day one. I also know she's going to try and smother Peanut with attention and hog him for herself whenever we see his family, and I've already prepared myself to tell her the back the f--- off. (She's like that with our nephew, and it's obnoxious.) I'm just not even going to tolerate her crap.
Too tired and lazy to move and be motivated to get dressed for our valentines resort/dinner/slumber party-ha. I've been looking forward to our romantic evening all month and now I can't move and just want something unhealthy like tacos with ranch and to lay in sweatpants. I'm the girl who wears heels to everything and would wear an evening gown to breakfast I I could, so am enjoying this newfound laziness. Ugh, I need to get up! Lol
Opinions, please? I'm going to a baby shower tomorrow and her registry is almost completely bare. Decided to make this instead. It's newborn white onesies and baby socks rolled up into roses and I decorated the ceramic pot with baby's name (so they can use it to store pacifiers or whatever). Would you like to get this at your baby shower? I know she didn't register for it, but I figure everyone could use more basics, right?

I think its adorable! I would love to get something like that at my shower!
I'm really regretting having said yes to a recording session tomorrow. And its for a "friend" so I'm not even getting paid. It is making me in a really bad mood right now.
Mini melt down. Came home and tried on the dress I bought. Its super cute but a little short. I'm thinking I can make it work with leggings. I got tights and I look awful in them. Of course I waited until the weekend before my shower to go look. I'm panicked.
And this is why I try on EVERYTHING before I buy it. I've always had to since everything on the planet always fits me funny, so it's just habit for me; but I never understood how people could just grab something in what is supposed to be their size, and not make sure it looks OK before spending the money on it.
I would exchange the tights for leggings, like you said, if the dress seems too short; then wear some tall riding boots or ballet flats with it.
@jennypenny1014 I did try it on but for some reason I just didn't think to look at the back. I was excited that I found something so easily. It definitely covers my butt I just think it is too short for see through tights. I am going to do leggings and cute flats. For some reason I can never match shoes with an outfit! Motherhoods website shows women wearing flats with leggings and it looks ok....
I am with you though I pretty much try on everything!
DOH! I hate it when that happens. Looks fine in the dressing room, then you get it home and the 2nd opinion comes out... lol
JEEZ Vinny, you can't even make this an easy decision?!
I really like it in either red, or monterray bay. But the purple & the mahal green are both nice. I also think the mango one is pretty...AH!! IDK!! lol
I have like three of those Target kimono dresses in the shorter length. They are my go-to bumming around dresses and I use them as pool cover-ups, etc. grant it, they aren't maternity, but I feel like they'll still fit if it gets warmer early enough to wear them. Love those things!
@mamamonzo I can't figure out the moby wrap either. I gave up! I think maybe watching YouTube videos will help more than the instruction book. Good luck!
I did watch a couple you tube videos and they helped a ton!!
I WANT TO WEAR A DRESS WHILE PREGNANT! Ahhhhh stupid Canada where the air hurts my face!
I wanted to buy a nice top for my shower, seeing as it's too cold here for dresses...this is the selection at our Canadian Target for maternity clothes, no joke. And FYI, The Gap doesn't sell maternity wear here, we don't have Motherhood and even department stores like Sears or The Bay don't have maternity wear. Balls.
Have you tried looking on Amazon? They have a ton of stuff. Due Maternity was where I found my dress (wwww.duematernity.com) but then I bought it on Amazon for the free shipping and no taxes. I know you don't want a dress, but they have a ton of cute tops too!
@rockstarlaw I agree! I have three of them and love them as cover ups! They are very flattering on almost anyone. I'm sure they will be great postpartum before I'm back to pre pregnancy shape even if I don't get to wear them this spring.

The air hurts my face too where I live that's why I wear dresses with fleece lined leggings and cardigans!
