    My back has nearly given out after running errands and cleaning yesterday. My natural response to this? Hobble out to the kitchen, plate up some cookies and fruit for breakfast and go back to bed. Valentine's Day is starting off with a bang!!

    Yep! If I told you all the things she gets away with you would think I am going to make a horrible mother! It's her blue eyes that kill me every time! She is also the biggest snuggle bug in the universe!
    I wouldn't doubt it. She just looks like she knows that once she snuggles you after doing something bad you'll forget what it was that she did. I know that'd happen if she were my cat.
    The white kitty is slightly better behaved then our brown kitty, unless you are talking about the water bowl, then the little twerp is a demon.  He has to splash the water out of the bowl onto the floor before he'll drink out of the bowl.  Half the time his bowl ends up three feet away from where it started, which then means the dog can drain it and subsequently pee all over the house...  :-w

    The brown kitty, on the other hand, pushes all my buttons, and knows it.  He also knows that he is my baby, and will come back over to snuggle and "apologize" after he gets yelled at for misbehaving.  This is also the cat that is preparing me for children by never letting me pee alone. Seriously, he's in my lap 10 seconds after I hit the toilet most afternoons. #-o

    All of you ladies and your awesome DHs kinda make me wish my DH and I celebrated Valentines Day. But we mutually agreed on our first Valentines Day as a couple that it wasn't worth it. :((

    My little girl isn't moving a whole bunch today :( I was so worried this morning because she was quiet last night too, but she's a pretty good listener so whenever I say "hey, kick or something and let me know you're ok!" She'll do a little something. It's just weird that I'm so used to being prodded and poked all day, I'm not used to my tummy not rolling around!

    Yeah, the school can be organized as hell, but super entitled assholes will still always fuck it up.

    I was just so amazed at how many parents were willing to just walk into traffic with their kids. I mean I get you don't want to wait in line for them
    But that's totally safer! Clearly the school is trying because their sign has said for months you need a car tag to pick up a kid.

    I mean safety and making sure my kid doesn't get abducted because you can't follow the rules is kinda important.

    I'm a teacher, and I dread dismissal duties because of the pick up lines and rude parents/ guardians. I feel like I take my life in my hands every time I have to be out there. Almost been hit by their north jersey land yachts, I mean SUVS, more times than I can count.

    @ColleenSwerb Serenla is talking to the seller of the necklace, but as far as I know no purchases yet (special ordering). I believe St. Judes has already been contacted about the donation in Isla and Fiona's names. Fiona has been extubated (taking her away from the ventilator and on to less invasive breathing aids) and is doing quite well. 

    True, I am waiting on donating to jude until I've paid for the necklace, I did just get an email from the seller today but I can't look at it while I'm at work :/.

    @Mamamonzo I technically live in Ludington (about 1.5 hour drive), but I wasn't feeling a positive VBAC experience from these smaller, less staffed community hospitals so I wanted to make the change to an OB that goes through either St. Mary's or Spectrum (went with St. Mary's because it's in the same medical group as my old hospital from Ann Arbor). But as long as the new practice keeps me on I'll be visiting GR quite a few times between now and delivery. :) As long as nothing changes I'll PM you sometime closer to 3/5 and we can plan coffee or lunch or something.

    Spectrum stresses me out! We go there for our MFM appts, the hospital is literally 4 city blocks, there are skywalks and all that crap! I get lost every time! I'm hoping I don't have to deliver there, but they do have the only NICU in GR.

    I've heard wonderful things about St. Mary's!

    @Mamamonzo It's probably a good thing I didn't go with Spectrum then! Even their website was more difficult to navigate. My sense of direction and navigation is horrendous. 

    From what I can tell St. Mary's does have a Level III NICU in their main hospital building, or so their website says. Either way, I'd feel so much more comfortable knowing there was a NICU nearby rather than 1.5 hours away from me over here in the boonies. ;)
