I'm gonna AW for a second. I was feeling really down about myself and how I was looking and feeling these past couple of days. I went and got a dress for my shower this weekend and I'm feeling much better. Yes I will rock this dress and these heels in 20 degree weather. * I just woke up from nap time don't judge my lack if makeup or terrible hair*
Yes ladies, that's our 600 dollar home gym DH had to have... It's got about 3 inches of dust on it because me being in bed rest means he is too.

you look great @mamamonzo! I especially love your nude pumps! where'd you get them?? I've been looking for almost 2 years now and never find a pair I love.
DSW they're half a size too big but I couldn't resist them!!! DH calls them my "Fuck me pumps" if I'm wearing them there's a good chance he's getting lucky lol
Mamamonzo! Is your dress a Target find? If so, I bought the same one after seeing it in Fit Pregnancy I'm trying to figure out how to winterize it for the midwest. Do you think it can be done? Or too summery? It's so comfy, isn't it??

Totally Target! I have a cream shall thing I might wear with it. I'm Midwest too. Lately I've been very warm so the short sleeves were a nice break!
So my entire afternoon has turned into me scrolling The Bump and waiting for the girl in the office next to me to leave so that I can raid her candy dish. Kind of ashamed. [-X
Ok, I have to share and all my 70 year old quilting friends are not here... But I finally got enough done of the baby quilt to lay it out! There is another darker purple layer but then dunzo! Yay!
I just found out that our community theater is doing "Rent" which I got super stoked about and planned on going to see until I saw a sneak peak of their "seasons of love" cover. Now I don't want to go because they don't sound as good as the original. Is that bad?
Just went to my target and they had a bunch of the gilligan & o'malley nursing tanks on clearance. They were just mixed in with the regular price ones but I noticed the clearance stickers on them. They were 50% off plus there is a 5% cartwheel. Also got two maternity shirts for $2.98 each! I'm happy!
@katieharpiceland I also find that gargling warm salt water really helps a sore throat. Hope you feel better!
Yea!! I have bad memories of that as a child. LOL. I got strep throat a lot and my mom always had me do it. I've yet to do it again since I've become an adult. I should totally just grow up again and do it! :-)

Jealous if that find. I bought one yesterday there for $26.
Mom to 10 year old DS and 7 year old DD. Twin girls coming soon!
DH's cousin just had a baby boy born at 8 lbs and people are commenting on her facebook status "OMG you poor thing - he's HUGE!" and that sort of thing.
Must. Not. Reply. To. Idiots. Totally struggling here.
We are back from the hospital and they took 4 vials of blood, a urine sample and chest x-rays. DD did great for having to have all this done, I'm very proud of her. Thank you all so much for the T&P's, I really appreciate it. We hope to have all her results back by tomorrow morning. Luckily her fever episode has passed for now so at least she was feeling physically better to be having all this done.
~Missed MC at 8 weeks. D&C at 12 weeks on 4/17/13~

Not bad. Watch the movie. It's one of my favs!
I love the movie! That's why I was so excited about the play. Now I'm glad I saw their little fb video clip because if is gone to see it I would have hated the disappointment.
@hvmom2b Yeah, it's definitely not a necessity to leave. I have a session at the gym. Haha.....definitely not worth risking myself/baby. But I ate almost an entire bag of Doritos and I feel guilty. And I hate feeling like I am trapped in the house. Dammit logic---why do you have to win?!?
If you feel guilty enough you could google a pregnancy work out you could do at home? LOL I wouldn't worry about it...
Do I have a right to be nervous about my temp who is here during my mat. leave? She's gorgeous, smart, and really friendly. I honestly am so freaked she'll do well at my job and I won't have the job when I get back
Don't worry! In sure you're better at your job than a temp!
DH told me this morning he has been having dreams of me going into labor so we should pack our hospital bag so he feels a little better. Sweet man.
I have to AW him now that I am talking about him. Yesterday he made dinner and cleaned up afterwards (even wiped the counters), and he also preset the coffee maker. This morning he made me breakfast and cleaned up after! This does mean that he will be burned out in a couple days, though and not want to do anything for a month after At least I won't be working by then.
I just have to say, you all are amazing! As strange as it sounds I honestly couldn't imagine this pregnancy without you guys! Thanks for the ego boost! I really wish there was like a bump convention where we could all meet up!!! I need to hug you all!!!
I'm being silly and hormonal, but I got guilt tripped about quitting and I feel really down now. I know I'm not doing anything wrong, and it's not my fault it's a bad time for the supervisor & hospital. But I hate people being mad at me.
Two weeks notice isn't unreasonable for a per diem employee, right? I mean I'm called in or cancelled depending on the number of patients, and they cut and change my days with almost no notice... I really don't think I'm being unfair.
Making plans to go out for Mexican tonight to celebrate and get out of this funk. On a happy note, DH got a ridiculous snow day today for an ice storm that missed us, so that was fun!
Two weeks notice is a curtsy to them. You can quit whenever you want! Two weeks gives them sufficient time to hire and train someone else. They are just upset because you are irreplaceable. Not your fault. Maybe they should pay you $10,000 more to stay
@mamamonzo, we should create and hold our own convention/meet up I'm sure we could get a good discount somewhere
@celticlullaby 2 weeks for a per diem employee is average and expected. Hell, I'm a monthly salaried employee and they don't expect more than 2 weeks from us. They can just get over it.

OP of the donut thread seems a little more than hormonal right now. why did I open it? WHY!
It's like an accident.. You can't not look. I think I would have been more upset if everyone ate my donuts! I'd do a happy dance if mine were all gone.
Random question: does anyone notice the baby is less active the day or two after having sex? I've noticed it the past couple times, so I don't think it's ABNORMAL, but I wondered. I've still felt a couple big kicks today, just much more sporadic than regular.

Baby is probably in shock after having seen a foreign object coming at it. Let's face it... That's an alarming visual! I have nothing productive to add... Sorry!
